An interesting second book in the series, it is an easy read with lovable character and moves at a decent pass.

This was such a fun book. It was such a great mystery to find out at the end of book 1 what happened to Renie’s sister and how they move forward. So many twists and turns. Fun and easy read!!

As enjoyable as book 1 which I was lucky to read. Fast paced storytelling with fine characters and nice writing style. I'm curious if Ms Higgin is planning book 3?

"Revelations" begins right where we left off in the previous book. As we see, Reine, newly turned, is coping with many changes as Belle Norte's secrets were revealed. Now, everyone had to walk on eggshells to discover plots that not only pits humans against vampires, but creates conspiracy among the other houses.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Truthfully, it takes me back to the days of "Twilight" and all of the tween emotions that comes with reading a vampire love story. Instead of becoming a vampire at the very end, Reine is turned fairly early and it is interesting to read how that drastically changes a relationship, especially her relationship with Edmond. It added a layer of intimacy that felt soft and sweet as Edmond helped Reine navigate a new life. There was something about the tenderness between them that made the book difficult to put down!

We all love a good romance, but this book balanced it perfectly with action and adventure. The conspiracies were deeply rooted and even gave me pause in how we view hierarchy and authority in real life, as well as how different societies are when they are siloed. Those moments were very surprising for me, but not unwanted. In fact, it gave me more enjoyment in reading as it aided in the world building every reader desires to see.

What I love about this book is how easy it is to read. We don't have to stress about intense worldbuilding; it has an effortless quality that I truly appreciate! After all, you want a story to be effortless to bite into.

Continuing on from book one. Renie is now freshly turned, and Edmund is in serious trouble for saving her, breaking vampire law. The fallout was the main point of this book, and while we see the power struggle within the world with the council and the leadership of Belle more, it went a bit too back and forth for my taste.
This book had some heartbreaking scenes and intense emotional turmoil with morals, feelings and changes.

Overall, it's a fun book and a decent sequel. Has my interest for book 3!

It took me much longer to get into Revelations because I thought it would be easy to find Belle Morte. I ended u reading the first book through Wattpad and I loved it. I jumped into Revelations right away after and all I'm saying is that the series can't end like this. We need this to be a trilogy. Higgin's class society of vampires is so unique, that I could read way more. I'm just sad that it doesn't seem to be as widely available as it should.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. This is my honest opinion.

Is there a book 3? I'm hoping and wishing and crossing all my fingers that there will be another book in this series. I love Edmond and Renie. They are the cutest little vampire couple. I enjoyed this book, maybe not as much as the first, but I love world building and in book 2 the world is already built.

This one starts off just as we were left in Belle Morte, This book is a little more fast paced, and angry. Everyone is betrayed, angry and vengeful. I enjoyed reading how they were going to fix the problems. I enjoyed watching the characters grow. All of them had growth and they sort of formed their own little family.

I would love to continue to follow this story, and hope it is done as a series so I can fully read about these characters. Even if we could have back stories for the older vamps. Oh man the ideas are endless. Bella Higgins is brilliant and she can do NO wrong !!

This is a pretty solid sequel.

We've got our lovely vampires, political intrigue, secret passageways, unlikely friends, all great things.

I did find the POV's a bit strange (one in 1st person, another in 3rd), and would've preferred 1st person for both.

Overall an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed Revelations and was happy to see how the series was concluded. I love the relationships between all of the characters and how they grew closer together as the story went on. I will definitely be reading other books that Bella Higgins writes.

Revelations is book two in Bella Higgin's series, Belle Morte. The story continues where we left off in an exciting and eventful continuation with Renie searching for answers, but also attempting to save the love of her life, Edmond. With the constant deceit and lies around every corner, you'll find yourself turning the page for "just one more chapter" until the sun rises. Thank you, Higgin, for providing a fun and refreshing read on vampires for young adults!

The stakes and danger get hot in this follow up to
Belle Morte. I have to say that I really liked this one better than book one. It was much faster paced and had a better flow. The characters are all back and I just really enjoyed where we went and how everything happened. I need more of this world soon.

I enjoyed this second book in the series, but didn't think it was quite as good as the first. But it's definitely one of the better vampire novels that has come out in recent years and I think fantasy readers will really enjoy it. Looking forward to the third installment!

This is like a classic popcorn vampire book - I didn't enjoy it as much as book 1 because we weren't really uncovering anything, it was just going back and forth and around and around the same plot points.

Would read more from this author, but this was just okay

This one is late but here we go. I feel like I’m on a Fantasy high these days lol
We start off with book two in this interconnected series where you NEEED to read book one. Belle Morte has to be one of my absolute favs. First off, this cover is absolutely GORGEOUS!
And yes the title itself is a hint of what’s going down in this book.
Revelations after revelations hit me, FR. We find out a lot of things about June and Etienne makes me want to pull my hair out. I want to trust him one second and not the next second, which is probably how Bella wanted it to be lol.
Renie and Edmond, my babies are put through so much, I wish I could hide them. I think I cried a little when Nikki finds out the truth about her father. The strength and sass this girl showed. SLAYED.
I honestly felt so bad for Ysanne but also a little doubtfully? because she has tried so hard but for all of it to fall apart, however, I kept asking myself 'WHAT IF???'
Picking up the pieces and going back to Belle Morte, the betrayal, lies and deceit kept building. The June and Renie confrontation had to on my toes.
I honestly CAN’T Wait for a book three.

A great sequel to Belle Morte! I truly appreciate an author who can refresh my memory about the previous book without it feeling like a summary and Bella Higgin did that very well. She dove right back in where Book 1 left off with Remie coming to terms with being a vampire and everyone dealing with the repercussions of the attack on the house. Things quickly escalate as more betrayals are revealed and Remie, Edmond, and their small group are forced to fight again and flee for their lives. Higgin kept the tension high throughout this sequel right to the very beginning end. A very satisfying follow up and conclusion.
