This was very helpful in seeing what books are coming out soon and what books should be added to my TBR list. This is the first time that I have read the Buzz Books and will definitely be watching for more of these in the future. It was nice to be able to read excerpts and decide ahead of time what books will be worthy of my trip to the book store on the release dates. Worth the read!

I LOVE this sneak peek! Thank you, NetGalley!

I'm looking forward to requesting novels by Morton, Verghese, Acevedo, Goo, and others, and to digging into several of the nonfiction and debut titles. I particularly appreciate the notice of books coming out this Spring & Summer that won't be available in galley form but will be hitting our public libraries (e.g., novels by Colson Whitehead and James McBride). The anticipation is delicious!

I always look forward to the Buzz Books compilations. As a librarian, they give me ideas for collection development since library patrons are bound to be looking for many of these titles in our library in the coming months. As a blogger and reviewer, I also appreciate reading the excerpts, which helps me decide which books I may want to request copies of via NetGalley and select for review.

In this years Buzz’s book for spring/summer, we hear about all kinds of great books , Authors’s and publishers. Almost every year Buzzs books talk about the books others will be talking about in the near future. Like genre changers such as Elizabeth Acevado, Who’s switching from yeah thrillers to adult fiction A nonfiction author Helen McDonald who’s also switching to fiction. They have books from all over the world represented from Cozy mysteries to historical fiction adult fiction the list goes on and on and so many publishers will represent it from Berkeley to Yale to one of my favorite crooked books and many others. There’s entirely too many books to talk about all of them but some of my favorite were A nonfiction debut by Nicole Chung called Reddiscovering America, Did You Hear About Kitty Carr by Henry Holt, in many many more. There’s so many debuts in reoccurring authors and it all sounds so good. That’s why I love this book so much I got a jump on my TBR and they always pick books that others will be picking in the future. I love buzzes book pick and I always seem to agree with them. I thoroughly enjoy these and their sampler‘s and look forward to them every year. I received this book from NetGalley and Buzzes Books but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

I've always loved these Buzz Book sneak peek. I'm used to finding at least three novels I didn't even know was coming out. This time I found that Kate Morton, one of my favorite authors has a book coming out soon..
There were some incredible fiction debuts coming that I got to preview as well as a biography called King about MLK. I'm excited for this one as I want to learn more about this man that shaped our future.

Pros: One of the things I find most overwhelming about NetGalley is knowing what books to request--there are literally thousands of books! This sampler was a wonderful way to read a bit of a bunch of upcoming releases to see what I might want to request from NetGalley and the library. I've already received Elizabeth Acevedo's new book from NetGalley and can't wait to start reading!

Cons: The worst part about these samplers is having to wait to read many of the books that sound great.

Each new Buzz Books is a delight for anyone who enjoys reading. The books that look most interesting to e this tie around are—
• Elizabeth Acevido's Family Lore, A story of a family of Latinx women with a bit of magical realism
• Monica Brashears House of Cotton. A contemporary, Black, southern Gothic novel.
• Mihret Sibhat, The History of a Difficult Child. A girl growing up during Ethiopia's socialist revolution.
• Tyriek White, We Are a Haunting, A Black family in Brooklyn with a blend of magical realism and social critique.

I always look forward to the Buzz Books volume for the upcoming season and this time was no exception. I really enjoy getting to read an excerpt of upcoming books (some of whom I was aware of and others that are new to me).
