Dim Sum Palace is a beautifully illustrated children's book about a young girl named Liddy who is eager to eat dim sum for the first time.

This wonderfully captures the imagination and excitement a child has for experiencing a food for the first time.

The illustrations are well done, unique, the texture reminiscent of woodblock printing.

I love dim sum and I enjoyed the illustrations of food and the delicious dishes you can only get when you have dim sum.

Omg this was so freaking adorbs and put a smile on my face. I was giggling throughout because the illustrations are just so darn cute, especially since Liddy really looks like a pau herself. I loved the food and culture here too! Wished the story was longer but overall, it's a book I would love to share with my kids. If I had any, that is. What a precious and delightful read!

This was a cute book that serves as a very brief introduction to Dim Sum. The illustrations are mostly pretty great - I wasn't fond of the way Liddy was drawn; but overall it a good book. I'm looking forward to adding this to my Kindergarten classroom library.

SO FUN! This book is excellent on so many levels. The little girl is SO adorable and ohmygoodness do I understand where she is coming from. It takes me back to memories of childhood and the fantastic excitement of seemingly small adventures that shape you (especially with food). She is told right before bed that the following day, she and her family were going to someplace called the Dim Sum Palace. As she drifts off to sleep, she drifts right into her own interpretation of a Dim Sum Palace complete with an empress and yummy dumplings. The illustrations are really captivating and the dumplings made my mouth water.

A fun look into dim sum through the eyes of a young girl, Liddy. Great illustrations of her adventure and of the food!

Liddy is so excited to eat at the Dim Sum Palace! She dreams she is made into a dumpling at a real palace and almost eaten by an Empress. She wakes to go with her family to a restaurant, not an actual palace but the dim sum is better than it tasted in her dreams.

This is really cute! She dreams of the dim sum palace and what will happen there. I don't want to give anything away. Super cute, lovely illustrations, made me hungry!

Children’s books about Dim Sum are always so fun in my experience and this was no exception. The art work was amazing, and the story was very whimsical and silly. 10/10

Dim Sum Palace is a really fun, fantastical look at a little girl's dreams of going to the Dim Sum Palace. I loved all of the food imagery, and how fun it was that she was transformed into a dumpling! Great illustrations, easy to read writing.
