The virgin trope is not one of my favorites, especially when they start heading into a completely unbelievable age due to "none-drastic" circumstances (near rape, health issues, etc.), but they are popular in the aspect that you don't deal with the messy dating scene and so many angsty breakups/one-night "where the heck did they go" unintentional stands.

This is a nice escapist story of a girl who, on the outside looks like she has everything, and a stud-muffin guy who slowly realizes this isn't all that true and wants to help her find her true potential - in ALL the ways.

Read if you like:

🎭 Drama

This one is a character driven book to an extreme where really you need to pay attention to all the couples and follow their journey and it is so worth it from someone who typically isn’t a huge character driven book person.

This one has the spice on lock and truly the only reason I read it because the spice is something these authors get right every time! 🥵 🥵 🥵

There is a lot going on in this book, but I promise it will be worth it especially if you have enjoyed their other books!

Thank you Berkley for my ARC copy in exchange for my review!

I this series a lot. I thought this one had the best story line so far. The whole reality show aspect was awesome.

I was so excited to get Rose and Conner’s points of view. I loved the behind the scenes thoughts and reasoning behind their decisions. They may be my favorite of the couples so far.

I can’t wait to continue on with this series, it just gets better and better as it goes along. This was definitely my favorite so far.

I've been really enjoying reading Lily and Lo's story in the addicted series but was thrilled when I saw there was a book about Rose and Connor's relationship. Those 2 have a very interesting relationship and I really enjoyed the opportunity to get inside of their heads. I was surprised by how easily I could relate to both characters and it was great to see just how much they understood one another. It was also nice to start to unveil the real Connor instead of one of the many persona's he puts on to get ahead in the world. This book also painted a better picture as to why Rose is so guarded when it comes to her personal life and it was great to see her grow as a character.

I love this intertwining Addicted /Calloway Sisters thing! The Ritchie sisters were super smart to set their books up this way. All of the Addicted books have been very intense so far and adding the Calloway Sisters into the mix brings a little (and I do mean just a little) relief from the tension of Lo and Lily’s story. We still get to see them, but through Rose and Conner’s eyes. It showed a bit of a different side to the couple that I loved. But I need to get back to the main focus of Kiss the Sky: Connor and Rose.

Kiss the Sky begins where Addicted for Now left off. Thanks to Lily’s secret being divulged by the media, both the Hale and Calloway companies are experiencing some major losses. Rose has a plan to restore faith in the two families and their companies. She, her sisters and their friends will star in a reality T.V. show to prove to the public that they’re not who they’ve been made out to be. Staring in a reality T.V. show should be easy, but the gang soon learns producer Scott isn’t above creating fake drama to up ratings.

I have loved Connor and Rose since they came on the scene in Addicted to You, but it was fun to get to know them better. They’re both super smart, outspoken, and loyal. That’s where their similarities end, though. Connor is confident and calm, where Rose is a little OCD. The way he broke down Rose’s barriers when it came to sex and love was so much fun to read. I have to admit I wasn’t 100% down with Connor and Rose’s sex life, though. Rose’s willingness to jump right into Connor’s desires surprised me since she was normally so in control. I got that she wanted to let him lead in this aspect of their lives, but I just found her acceptance a tad off since she was a virgin.

As for the reality T.V. show aspect of this book, I loved and hated it. I loved that it gave this book a different feel and all of the characters a new and exciting experience. I didn’t like Scott. I hated him. He was the perfect villain. So I guess I’m not really complaining about him. Haha. Scott just put me on edge waiting for the next horrible surprise.

The added bonus content was fun. I loved the extended epilogue. That was the shining star in the bonus content. The texts were so Connor and Rose. The only thing I wanted more depth to was Daisy's chapter at the end. There wasn't drama or anything to make it interesting. There was just mostly her worry that there would be drama. It didn't add anything to Rose and Connor's book. It would make people slightly more interested in reading the next book, I guess.

I love this Addicted /Calloway Sisters series so much! I’ve been obsessed with reading every book. I can’t put them down and find myself spending all of my free time reading them. I would highly recommend Kiss the Sky to New Adult readers, but you MUST start off at the beginning of the series to get the full enjoyment of this book.

DNF @ 50% - I really wanted to get into this series, especially as I continue to hate-read the Addicted series. I think if it was more of a continuation rather than a spin off, it would have become more successful. I just couldn’t wrap my head around more pointless characters without a reason as to why they’re getting together and so many 🚩🚩🚩 as to why they are in the first place. a big thank you to berkley romance and netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

I read this book when it was indie, and just reread the Berkley re-pub edition. Obsessed then, obsessed now. End of story.

Let me first just say that Rose & Connor are literally the most iconic and powerful characters to EVER exist, individually and as a couple! I would truly bow down to them because they are my KING AND QUEEN 🤌 After reading the first 3 books, I knew I would love them but WOW they surprised me in so many ways! They had so much growth in this book, which I loved reading about. Their banter was also EVERYTHING.

I honestly didn’t think I would relate to Rose as much as I did. She’s like me but so much better, and I WANT TO BE HER SO BAD. I think Rose is honestly my favorite character to ever exist. And Connor?? Let’s just say I’ve never cried over just how HOT a fictional character was until him 💀 I don’t know what that says about me, but send help because he gave me cardiac arrest multiple times. And the spice scenes? I have no words. They caught me off guard every time in the best way — SCREAMING just thinking about it.

The reality show aspect and drama of this book kept me on my toes the whole time. I also love the amount of core 6 moments that you get. The only reason I had mixed feelings about this book was because of a certain character that I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE! When I tell you I’ve never hated a fictional character more, I mean it 😀🔪 But I know Rose and Connor wouldn’t want me to waste my energy on them, so I am giving this book 5 stars because my love for Rose and Connor exceeds my hatred 😌 Anyways, this series + these characters have my entire heart, and I’ve loved every book so far ❤️ I absolutely recommend this series!

I absolutely loved Kiss the Sky and the relationship between Rose & Connor! I have been looking forward to getting to this book in the series since August, and it didn’t disappoint. I love character driven books, and it was so beautiful seeing the character progression of all of the Calloway Clan while they were filming Princesses of Philly, but Rose and Connor’s dynamic just really spoke to me! I relate and connect to them so much, and I doubt there will be many other fictional couples I read about this year that’ll top their relationship.

if you are not a fan of character driven books, I don’t know if you would like this! However, this had some of my favorite tropes (Rose & Connor’s relationship is academic rivals to lovers, which is one of my top tropes), and I will be recommending it to other romance readers!

An interesting story full of twists, turns, fun characters and overall a book I would consider reading time and time again.

From how much I've reread this book, it feels like I just read it for the first time and fell in love with it every time.

Rose and Connor's relationship was just unique and the most interesting couple since it's very different from all the books I had read and also on how much I can relate to both of them that's why I love them so so much.

Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for the ARC !!

Before reading this book, I didn’t know how much I needed the Rose and Connor. But now I do, nothing could satiate me as much as this book and those bonus scenes did. They’re an elite couple. And I loved and highly enjoyed it
