A Thrilling Ride Through The Inner City’s Of Boston
Redeem the Lines is a gripping story of life of two friends Nate and Patrick who live in Boston in the 1990’s. They are the main characters in the story. Nate is black and Patrick is white, and they are growing up living in a poor neighborhood that is rife with gangs, drugs robberies and murder. Both Nate and Pat are from working class backgrounds. The story is about how they transition into adulthood and starts when Pat comes out of prison after doing four years for a crime he did not commit.
The story of the two men’s lives is the gripping story about Pat who could become a professional boxer and Nate who wishes to become a Lawyer. It is an extremely exciting story fast paced, extremely humorous at times and a journey that will take you on a thrilling ride, as Nate and Pat overcome the hidden demons of the underworld, transatlantic travel in Ireland involving the I.R.A. Racial, political and economical boundaries in Boston that will have you reflecting on your own life. Redeem the Lines is a must read and I highly recommend this book. Thanks to NetGalley and to the publishers of this book for giving me a free advance copy of the book to preview and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
