Rock star books are my first love, so I immediately requested this one to read. I had a completely different feel of how this book was going to be, but it was not a bad thing. I really liked it a lot!

This book is in third person, but told from 3 different points of view. Lexi, Dae & our mystery person. I think this helped get the feel of the three main characters and you really get into the craziness of our mystery man’s mind.

There was quite a few things going on with the characters in this book, stalking, an attempted murder, divorce and ptsd. The author did a great job with each of these in this story. It all went smoothly and really encapsulated a romance story above everything and the love for family.

This book is categorized as a romance, but in my opinion there’s thriller intermingled within it as well. Overall I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Escape Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first in a new series. This is pretty unbelievable-its out there. I did like the characters though Lexi and Daemon make a cute couple. I thought that Cat was amazing. This was a good book. It did have a bunch of odd spacing issues throughout the book. This is a romance and a suspense. 4 stars

This is a fast paced action packed romantic suspense with fabulous characters and a beautiful setting, we meet music producer Lexi Deningham and Daemon Flagherty from the band The Sidhe, Lexi has been to hell and back in the past and is now getting on with her life and the music she loves, looking for love is that last thing she wants when she has a stalker threatening her and her twin sister, this one will keep you turning the pages.

Lexi has become a recluse these days and lives in the high country in Victoria in her beautiful castle home with her recording studio, she has been writing songs and now the band want to meet up with her and record some songs can she do this and keep the media circus away. Meeting Daemon sets her heart alight the last thing she wants but they meld with the music.

Daemon is getting over a nasty divorce but music is his life and getting Lexi to help write and produce the new album is what he needs, he did not think that meeting her would get him thinking about the future or see him react the way his does when Lexi’s past comes crashing in on the beautiful country home.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, there is lots happening as Lexi and Cat’s past is unraveled in this dangerous story of a psychopath and his need for revenge, danger is everywhere, edge of your seat suspense, and the romance between Lexi and Daemon is beautiful two people who deserved so much love after all they have been through, This is one that I would highly recommend.

My thanks the Escape Publishing and Netgalley for my copy to read and review

Leisl is a new author for me but the synopsis for this story intrigued me (especially as it was a rockstar romance) so I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad that I did.

I loved this mixture of romance and thriller it was really well done and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. The heroine Lexi had gone through so much in her past and it had taken years before she got where she was as a successful music producer who top rock bands wanted to work with. When Daemon and his band arrived to work with her, it was supposed to be all work, but there was an instant spark between the producer and the sexy rock star.

Unfortunately before they could explore this attraction further a threat from Lexi's past rears it's ugly head leaving her spinning and trying to balance her work and her responsibilities to her sister. Suprisingly Daemon shows his truth worth as more than a womanizing rock star as he steps in to help her. Even though getting involved with another woman is not what he had planned after his messy divorce he cannot deny his attraction to Lexi.

As I was reading the web of this romantic thriller was pulling tighter and tighter and more and more dangerous making me wonder what was going to happen in the end, and wow I was not expecting that one!

What a brilliantly written story and exciting plot, I had absolutely no clue how this was going to end and who was threatening Lexi. This was one of my best reads so far this year.

There’s lots to like about Need You Tonight, including the setting in the beautiful high country or north east Victoria. Author Leisl Leighton had me thoroughly immersed in this setting thanks to her beautiful imagery. I loved her characters too. Lexi clearly has major issues thanks to a horrific stalker and attack incident eleven years earlier that left her twin sister injured and catatonic. Despite this, she is strong and successful in her chosen career, though her vulnerability is clear. Daemon has had troubles of his own earlier in life but, like Lexi, he’s put them behind him and forged a successful career. I loved the pull between these two. Evident from their first meeting, it was also something they initially fought. The story itself flowed well and the plot was interesting if a little predictable. Despite this, I enjoyed this book.

I love when I choose a book because it sounds good and then forget everything about it by the time I read it because the thriller/stalker element of this book was unexpected but also done so well. I found this book to be a perfect balance of romance and thriller with Lexi, her sister, and with writing music with Daemon. This was an emotional read as well with the relationship between her and her sister. Her sister was the victim of a horrid act that was meant for Lexi and the guilt and fear makes for one emotional rollercoaster when her stalker is related to the original event.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and would read this author again!

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC.

Guys. I couldn’t with this one. I got three chapters in and I found the writing a little bit stilted and dry and I just couldn’t relate to either the plot or the characters. I’m usually a fan of thrillers but this one just wasn’t my cup of tea.

I found Need You Tonight to be a well orchestrated suspenseful story where a tragedy brings together a group of people who become pawns in a killer's sick obsession as secrets come to light can hearts be mended or will the past destroy the future. I struggled with this story some as in my opinion too much of the story line was focused on the background and not enough on the present which was rushed through and left me feeling like there was something missing. I received a ARC copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Need You Tonight is the first book that I have read by Leisl Leighton. This book follows Lexi, who along with her twin had an awful experience eleven years ago. Daemon is the lead singer of a band that wants to work with Lexi, who is a producer/song writer. Lexi and Daemon feel a pull towards each other from the moment they meet. I really was sucked into this story from the beginning. And the part of the story about Lexi's stalker is just gripping. I have read more than one romance novel where the H or h had a stalker and this one is really good. I thought I had a good idea who it was, but really wasn't sure and it wasn't until the end that the actual stalker becomes known. Very well done. My only complaint about the book was that it did feel like it took a really long time to get through the stalker stuff and the romance was really secondary to the stalker storyline It wasn't enough to knock down the number of stars, but it did drag some. Overall, excellent book and cannot wait to read more by this author. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy.

thank you Escape Publishing for this e arc in exchange for my honest review!
i’m surprised at how much i enjoyed this! i thought it was intense and jam packed with thrills! i would literally gape eveytime we got a little view into the antagonists mind and see things from his POV! it was insane to say the least. i felt so so bad for Lexi and Cat. so many bad things kept happening to them over and over and it didn’t seem like it was getting any better for a while. the beginning of the book was a tad slow but the last half really picked up and i sped through the book. I adored Daemon and his broody attitude and the fact that he was a rockstar definitely added to the appeal. i loved how intense their love/lust was but also how deeply they cared for one another even though they didn’t want to admit to each other for a long time. seeing Cat get revenge in the end was my absolute favorite part and i was so happy for both of them. the dialogue got a little muddy at times but i found my way back easily. was also not expecting the ending to turn out the way it did. super great twist. 4/5

This book was okay but I found it a bit slow going at times, particularly the first half of the story. There were a lot of characters and sometimes I got confused with who each character was. What I did enjoy was the relationship development between Lexi and Daemon, both were complex characters with a lot of baggage from past traumatic experiences, and it was beautiful to watch them grow and heal together. The author did a great job setting the scene, creating striking imagery that stayed with me throughout.

This one was a bit of a struggle for me! The concept was immediately attractive from the first time I read the synopsis. I just found I had a hard time really getting into it- not sure if it was writing style or content. I will say that the author did a nice job of blending romance and a thriller into one connected story. I did love the sister bond in this book and am a big fan of stories that highlight the power of sisterhood. I just felt I left with more questions than answers. Would still be open to reading more from this author!

I loved this book it was the perfect combination of romance and thriller , I started late last night and finished tonight . It was so good I couldn’t stop reading it . I loved the the characters development thought the book . I’d say the only thing that threw me off a little was the third person point of view because I don’t read a ton of books in that point of view but other than that it was so good !

The storyline was pretty good. I enjoyed some of the thriller type aspects. Of no fault of the author, I do not care for 3rd person books. I prefer 1st person and dual perspective instead. So because of the style I found it hard to connect and really get into. The dynamics between the FMC and MMC were great. I do wish there's was a bit more spice though.

I have never read anything by Leisl Leighton so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I loved this book and will be picking up more books by here in the future. It was a perfect mix between romance and thriller. I thought both the main characters were really developed and I love how we slowly got to know them. I was hooked from the first page.

Reclusive music producer, Lexi, worked hard to escape her violent past. Daemon just wants to focus on his music after his messy divorce and will go to Lexi if it means working with the best. They fall for each other unexpectedly... But Lexi's past comes back to haunt her....

Love the romance... and I enjoy the supsense/thriller part too. :) I think Lexi and Daemon are great for each other and that is what their romance so sweet. Enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
