This is a beginner reader graphic novel, and it works. The story is simple, and a tad cute, the characters are believable and the story easy to follow. Just beware, kids may want to make their own blue lemonade at the end.

When Really Bird and his friends find a bunch of lemons in their park, they decide to make lemonade. They find a recipe and make their own special version -- it's blue! They will give the lemonade to their friends if their friends will clean up litter around the park.

This really bird book has great messages about working together, cleaning up, and sharing. Really bird has a really good idea and it makes the world a better place. Back matter includes tips on drawing really bird and things to think about/talk about.

This will be a favorite of many early readers, particularly those who like other really bird stories, or those with a quick, easy-to-read graphic novel format.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a good book for young children, an bridge to graphic novels. The writing is simple, the story funny and captivating, and the art work bright and cute.

After we read the book, my daughter was inspired to set up her lemonade stand once the weather warms up.

This is a series that we will now be looking for! I really enjoyed reading this book with my child. The "how to" directions would be great in a classroom setting. We all loved how Really Bird wanted to reward his friends with the lemonade for cleaning up the park- what a great message!

If you like Elephant and Piggie check out Really Bird. In this series Really Bird and his friends learn how to handle challenging situations by problem solving and using kindness. The comic style will really appeal to kids. This series would be a great addition to any lower elementary classroom.

I Really Want to Make Lemonade talks about Really Bird, Cat, Rabbit, and Pup wanting to make lemonade for those in their neighborhood. While the story itself was cute, it didn’t hold our interests really well, which made pushing through to finish it hard.

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher Spotlight for allowing me to receive and review this title.
