This was a stunning book that explored grief, feeling lost, and love. There was so much to love about this book. I love a good road trip book to begin with but add in a second long lost love story and love letters and it had me hooked. There was nothing I did not love about this book.

This was one of my favorite books to read by an author this year. The road trip style romance, which also delved into the characters past as well as past loves and it’s in chanting from start to finish.

The sexual tension in this book was delicious. I loved the way the relationship progressed between the main characters. It was really well paced and full of chemistry.

I love road-trip romances, living experiences and sights along with the characters. The forced proximity can be so much fun, so l was excited to read You, With a View, and I did like the story overall.

I thought the story started out great. I liked the initial sparring between Noelle and Theo and was excited that the trip would ignite that spark of attraction between them, but I didn’t really feel their connection or much chemistry between them after they set out. I had a hard time connecting with Noelle and her situation. I didn’t feel the grief she was supposed to be feeling over her grandmother’s death come through. I didn’t like that she was upset with Theo for not being honest about his work situation when she did exactly the same thing for much of the book.

I was really busy while reading/listening to the story, so it could’ve affected my enjoyment. Maybe this story wasn’t the story for me when I read it and maybe in a different mood I might’ve loved it. There’s a ton of positive reviews out there, so it probably was a “it’s me, not you” situation.

I absolutely adored this book. The travel, the banter, the steam, the feels, the QUOTES, Paul...I can't say enough good things about it. Whenever I pick up a romance, this book is the goal. This is exactly what I want from my rom-coms. Absolute perfection. Go read it.

Holy hell this was an awesome book. Noelle has lost direction after her Gram died. She loses a job and moves in with her parents. She needs something to dig her out of this hole. She finds a letter from her Gram to a man named Paul who she was madly in love with before she met Noelle's grandpa. She is shocked and confused because she thought they shared everything. She ends up taking to tiktok to find out where Paul is. She just has to know more of this story.
In a shocking twist, Paul's grandson response to the tiktok and tells her that that's my grand dad but Paul's grand Son is Noelle nemesis from high school. In the meantime the tiktok ends up going viral and there are tons of comments Wanting to know more about this story. Noel ends up going to Paul's house to meet him and find out more about the relationship And at the end of talking they decide to take the trip That Paul and Noelle's grandma we're gonna take for their honeymoon.
My only complaint with this book was that it was a bit long and tedious in the middle. However, the banter and the dialog make up for it exponentially. I would recommend this book to anybody that loves romance and wants to get lost.

4.5🌟 - I really liked it!

This was so fun! A road-trip through the national parks with an enemies-to-lovers moment while handling grief!

It was heartwarming, funny, charming, and tender! I loved Noelle and Theo ❤️‍🩹. The ending of this one was so sweet, and I loved seeing it all come together!

My family went on a road trip out west after I graduated from grad school over 4 years ago, and the book visited so many places we went to on our trip which had me reminiscing!!

DNF @ 60%. The premise of this book is excellent. The writing was also captivating. However, I felt there was a lot of repetition, and even though I was being told about her grief over her grandmother over and over again, I never felt it. While I liked both Noelle and Theo, I never bought into their relationship or the conflict. This one just wasn't for me, but I would definitely try her future books.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 3/5

I was so pleasantly surprised by this romance by Jessica Joyce! I think it was absolutely perfect for summer and truly gave me all the feels!

The romance between Noelle and Theo was an intoxicatingly, addictive slow burn that kept me wanting more. Let me just say, this author knows how to build tension! After the scene outside their Vegas hotel room, I was practically frothing at the mouth!

I thought the way that the author shared Noelle’s grief and how she dealt with it throughout the road trip was done exceptionally well. I truly loved how Paul was able to help her along the way. I just think it was so beautifully done.

Overall, I really loved this story and recommend everyone who enjoys reading romance to add this to their TBR! It was so much more than just a romance. It also explored familial relationships and what defines success. I was honestly blown away.

Also, I don’t know how many people read the acknowledgements, but I totally teared up while reading them! It makes my heart happy to know that Jessica’s grandmother was a driving force behind this novel and I am confident she would have been so proud! 🥲

Thank you to Jessica Joyce, Berkley (@berkleyromance @berkleypub), and NetGalley for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a millennial dream. All the references to things we associate with everyday life, and frame Theo make it so easy to fall in love with.

I love the character development in this book. The enemies to lovers between Theo and Noelle felt so real and I loved how they were able to convey their feelings and figure out who they are together. Beautiful debut.

This was a cute enemies to lovers/road trip journey. I loved that the protagonists were so close with their grandparents and that there was overlap in their stories. The dialog was sharp and the novel; was well-paced.

You, with a View was a really sweet story that tackled themes of grief and finding your passion. Noelle and Theo were high school rivals and end up reconnecting years later thanks to TikTok and a connection that allows Noelle to feel closer to her grandmother who she misses terribly. It was hard to believe this was Jessica’s debut novel. The story felt so real and emotional in all the best ways and the connection between Noelle and Theo was so palpable. It was so fun reading along during their road trip, and Paul was one of my favorite characters in a while. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley. Definitely would recommend to any romance reader.

This book was such a surprise! what a great debut book! Absolutely loved the premise and the romance was so sweet . The speed in which they fell felt a little insta-lovey but there was a history so that helped set up the foundation. Absolutely LOVED the grandpa. He was the best.

All the excalamation marks.

I can be impulsive. I got an email inviting me to view a proof of this book a few months ago, I took one look at the cover (gorgeous), skimmed the synopsis (road trip anyone?) and clicked to download. Then I promptly forgot all about it because of whatever. There are so many books out there vying for a reader's attention that it is difficult not to get swept up in all that chaos.
Fast forward to literally yesterday when I was looking for an uplifting read that would also be travel themed because that was what I was craving at the moment. Then I remembered about this eARC sitting on my Kindle, patiently awaiting its turn.

Gosh.
To say I have lost my head for this story would be a vast understatement.
I won't bore you with the synopsis. It's there for you to read. I will say this, though. "You, with a View" was a beautiful gem of a story that surpassed the 'just romance' label a thousandfold. It told a tale of healing with FMC Noelle finding out a secret from her late Gram's past. It was uplifting in a way Noelle rediscovered herself and her passion for photography. It was realistic in a way there was talk of nothing lasting forever, good or bad, or how it is not easy to just 'trust someone' and overcome years of being convinced you're not doing well enough. It was beautiful in a way it portrayed a supportive, loving relationship between a granddad and grandson. Also beautiful when the romance between Noelle and Theo started to blossom and I realized - as a reader - that it was subtly happening from the beginning and it slowly but steadily built up on itself into something spectacular and worth fighting for. Last but not least: it made me laugh, squeal, try to supress shouted 'I kneeeeew it' and sob hard on multiple occasions. No, I'm actually not PMSing. It was just so fucking moving that I could not NOT cry. Like, are you kidding me? Noelle and Theo were EVERYTHING.

If you have a heart beating in your chest, you'll love it, I promise.
There's a road trip, there's the one bed trope, there's talk of having a passion (which gets me every time because I love it when people are passionate about something), there's intimate spice (my favourite kind!) and there's a very satisfying epilogue that should end up as some kind of guideline on HOW an author should write their epilogue. Because: ALL the love.

*many thanks to Berkley Romance for this eARC and sorry this is a bit late, lol*

I loved this debut romance from Jessica Joyce! I loved everything: former high school enemies-to-lovers, a road trip, the letters, and a sweet grandpa. Also, the chemistry between Noelle and Theo was sizzling!

I absolutely adored every minute of this book and am desperately wishing I could read it for the first time again. This book was a pure delight from the first page to the last. The premise was so endearing and the romance between the characters just checked all the boxes for me. The road trip was really fun and I loved that it played a role in helping relationships grow in the book — between family and between the two main characters.

I recently lost my grandmother and reading this book came at the perfect time. I loved the relationship that Noelle had with her grandmother and seeing her reconnect with her gram even after she passed. It just was the perfect story. I can't wait to read whatever Jessica Joyce releases next, I know I'm going to love it.
