I loved Ryker and Rhyleighs story. Chase can really make you feel you are there. They both had to overcome some issues but it did not take away from their relationship. Just wonderful.

After her mother ambushes her with yet another blind date she never asked for, Ryleigh Donovan decides to make her point by kissing a man her mother would never approve of-- long haired, tattooed Ryker Masella. He agrees to a few public dates to keep her mother off her back.
Ryker has been spending the last six months since he arrived in town just trying to get Ryleigh to notice him much less go out with him. She's shot him down so many times that when she kisses him out of the blue, he's shocked. He'll agree to anything to spend more time with her. But the more time they spend together the more he wants to make it forever, while she's still using him to make a point with her family.
Ryker was just what I needed right now to give me all the feels. He seems like such a wonderful person while Ryleigh was standoffish and juvenile through most of the story. I'm glad she finally figured out how she really felt about him. She seemed so clueless that she didn't know a thing about him and never bothered to ask. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

SAVE ME is the third instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary adult THE DONOVANS romance series. This is web designer Ryleigh Donovan, and tattoo artist Ryker Masella’s story line. SAVE ME can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Ryleigh and Ryker) SAVE ME follows the building romance and relationship between web designer Ryleigh Donovan, and tattoo artist Ryker Masella. Ryker Masella has lusted after Ryleigh Donovan for as long as he can remember but Ryleigh continues to shoot down our story line hero, a tattooed, long haired bad boy with no apparent prospects on the horizon. With every attempt to get to know Ryleigh, Ryker finds himself on the outside looking in until a fight with her mother, sends Ryleigh into the arms of our story line hero. In an effort to stop her mother from the continuous interference in her lack of a love life, Ryleigh makes Ryker an offer he cannot refuse-a fake relationship that quickly turns into something more for Ryker Masella. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Ryleigh and Ryker, and the potential fall-out as lies by omission threaten the building love between our story line couple.

Ryker Masella keeps secret his true identity; his famous past and present, and his desire for our story line heroine. Ryleigh Donovan is tired of her mother’s constant need to set her up with a steady stream of ‘suitable’ men, men Ryleigh has no interest in, or attraction to in the face of the ongoing interference. A fake relationship with Ryker is but the first step in stopping Ryleigh’s mother but the reality of the situation pushes mother and daughter in separate directions. There are no $ex scenes, everything is implied.

Once again, the Donovan siblings are front and center: Liam and Tessa, Patrick, Jamie, Arianna, Arianna and Will, and their parents Kate and Shane Donovan, and uncle Ronan.

SAVE ME is a story of family and relationships but more so on dysfunctional family dynamics. Kate Donovan, the family matriarch, is unable to let go or cut the proverbial cord. Her constant interference in her children’s lives is driving a wedge between members of the family, so much so, that some, including our story liner heroine begin to distance themselves from the mother they love. Often unlikeable, Kate Donovan struggles to stay out of her children’s lives. The premise is engaging and inviting; the characters are dynamic; the romance is passionate and seductive.

Ryleigh Donovan has finally gotten fed up with her mother’s matchmaking attempts such that she agrees to date Ryker Masella. He is everything that her mother would dislike which makes him exactly what Ryleigh needs to show her mother who is in charge of her future. Yet Ryker has been patiently waiting for the perfect opportunity to as Ryleigh out on a date. So when she kisses him in front of her family, he decides to support her all the way, even if it is all a façade. However, the more time they spend together, trying to convince everyone that she is in a relationship, the more it begins to feel like a real romance.

Whilst this is a standalone book, many of the characters from previous books do appear. I must admit to enjoying reading about them again, but in no way do they overshadow the story. The author manages to instil so much emotion and detail into each character that it is easy to become absorbed in their romance. A great read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Ryleigh's story was highly anticipated after reading the other 2 books in this series. Mama Donavon has previously given Ryleigh tons of grief over finding a man and simply eating things mom didn't think she should. At her wits end, Ryleigh gets the tattooed bad boy who she's shot down so many times to take a relationship.

Ryker is nothing if not a saint and patient. Having crushed on Ryleigh for months he finally has an in to her life. What little she's willing to give.

While this fake relationship story is a familiar troupe, the family drama and dynamics brings in such strong emotions to the story you easily become invested in this relationship.

Ryker is a new favorite book boyfriend.

Samantha Chase had created a wonderful series of the Donovan siblings. Save Me is the love story of Ryder and Rylie. Even more potent than the combustable chemistry between Rylie and Ryder is the underlying theme of acceptance. Ryder was finding his way, and Rylie was struggling with her relationship with her mother. Families are messy even when you are loved fiercely. I absolutely adored the story in 360 view of life and love.

Ryker and Ryleigh...

Cute read, but why, why would you name your two main characters Ryker and Ryleigh? Its twin names.
Ok, that aside, Ryleigh is fed up with her mother ambushing her with random set ups. Unwanted set ups.
As a final straw, she agrees to Ryker's repeated attempts to ask her out. He's honest with her. He likes her and her sense of humor, but because his outside package is tats, a beard and long hair, he's a non-option for her. I really liked Ryker who was upfront with his desire to actually date her. Ryleigh just doesn't see him that way, even if she's going on a few dates with him to get her mother off her back.
Worth the read for Ryker.
4.5 stars

Ryleigh Donovan has been unsuccessfully dodging her mother’s matchmaking attempts for far too long. In an act of desperation, she finds the one guy in her small town who is guaranteed to shock everyone to be her fake boyfriend.
Ryker Masella has been patiently waiting for the perfect opportunity to get Ryleigh to take him and his numerous attempts at asking her out seriously. When she grabs him and kisses him in front of her family to prove a point, he’s more than on board. But when she proposes a fake and temporary relationship, he’s 100% on board.
Even though it’s a pretend relationship for her, it’s real for him and a perfect opportunity to get her to truly see him.
Save me is a cute read with the regular Donovan family drama, though I think the mom took things a little too far with Ryleigh. Ryker was just perfect, I loved how he was so patient with Ryleigh, waiting for her to catch up with her feelings for him. Didn’t like Ryleigh so much in this book, I felt she was a little immature and selfish towards Ryker. But everything worked out well so alls wellt hat ends well.

Samantha Chase - one of my very favourite romance authors! I’m always excited to pick up a new book from her, and most especially a series I love.

Save Me, the third full-length in The Donovans series, was nothing like I expected going in. Yes, I read the blurb and knew a bit about younger sister Ryleigh from the earlier books… but her behavior and the entire character of Ryker really shocked and just totally blew me away - in absolutely the best possible way!

This is a total opposites attract, fake dating turns real, bad boy isn’t a bad boy type of storyline that had everything a romance reader needs in their books. The resistance to her whole family meddling, and especially her mom trying to set her up on a string of terrible dates (we learn later in the book the mom’s whole backstory about that and it’s sweet and heartbreaking at the same time), shows Ryleigh as being a very strong character. Ryker is a softy even though he has the tough looking exterior (wears black, long hair and beard, covered in tattoos), and has been in love with her from afar long before she begs him to fake date to get her mom off her case.

I really loved Ryker and his hidden story, as well as their whole dynamic - fantastic chemistry. Their conflict, when it comes up, luckily isn’t too hard to get through (like some books out there that completely tear your heart out). The steam level was pretty low with some fade-to-black, so I could have asked for more on that end, but overall another top read from Chase! Highly recommend it.

I had both the ebook and audio - the ebook actually continued beyond the audio, with a few chapters from two of her other books in the series, so that would be my only reason to suggest the ebook over the audio (and I always say audio over e!!). I can’t wait for Jamie and Fallon’s story next, after their sneak peek! May is too far away!!

I received an advance review copy from NetGalley and Chasing Romance, Inc., and this is my honest feedback.

4.25/5 stars! If you're looking for a fake dating contemporary romance, look no further. I think what is so important with this trope is for the reader to understand the motivation of both people agreeing to fake dating; the what are they getting out of it. In this case, Ryleigh wants a break from her mother's match-making skills. As for Ryker, he's been waiting for a chance to prove to Ryleigh that they're meant to be. This was a really sweet, new take on a popular trope. My only complaint is that I don't understand having two main characters whose names could both be shortened to Ry. Just felt weird haha. But otherwise, super enjoyable.

5 Stars for this laugh-out-loud sweet romance!

I absolutely LOVED Ryker and Ryleigh! I love Ms Chase's style of writing ... the banter is so realistic, especially between the Donovan siblings. There were times I was laughing so hard there were tears running down my face. I want to live in Laurel Bay with them! The chemistry between Ryker and Ryleigh is off the charts ... HOT! I highly recommend this wole series and I can't wait for the next book.

Ryker was just passing through town and stopped at Donovans Pub, but when he saw Ryleigh Donovan ... he decided to stick around for awhile. For the last six months he has asked Ryleigh out several times and each time she shot him down. Ryleigh's mother has been relentless in trying to find Ryleigh a husband by setting her up on dates with guys that don't interest her in the slightest. So, Ryleigh decides that she needs a fake boyfriend to get her mom off her back ... and Ryker is in the right place at the right time. They agree on fake relationship, but Ryker is hoping that Ryleigh will see the light so they can date ... for real.

I received an early copy courtesy of Chasing Romance through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Ryleigh has had it with her mom trying to fix her up. She can find her own man, thank you very much, if only she knew what she wanted. After a huge fight with mom, she leaves the family pub and runs into Ryker in the parking lot. With mom chasing her, Ryleigh grabs the bull by the horn and kisses Ryker (who has been asking her out for months.) She then asks Ryker to fake date her so that her mom will leave her alone.
Ryker, who has wanted Ryleigh from first sight, jumps at the chance to convince her what an upstanding guy he is. However, he is on a hiatus from work and in the process of doing something big. He wants to keep it under wraps until he can get a clear vision of what he is doing.
Opinion
Samantha Chase knows how to write a good, clean, closed door romance. (You know what the characters are going to do but minimal details are given.) She also knows how to write a series. This is the third book in the Donovans series and so amazing I found myself up late trying to finish it.
What I loved most about this book is how fierce the Donovans are. They love each other, they love their partner and they protect each other with such a passion that I could not help but be envious of the family. (That's not to say they don't drive each other crazy because they do.) If you like small town, big family romances, this series is for you.
Many thanks to Net Galley and to Chasing Romance Inc for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Save Me is the third book of The Donovans series of interconnected standalones. This was my first book by this author and I can’t wait to go back and read the first two books of this series. I already love this family and can’t wait to read more about them!

Ryleigh is a web designer that is sassy, sweet and snarky. She is tired of her mother constantly trying to set her up with guys. So when she runs into Ryker she propositions him into fake dating her to get her mom off her back. Ryker is a tattoo artist that is protective, sexy and a complete marshmallow! When Ryleigh asks him for help he jumps at the chance to spend more time with her. He has been trying to get her to go out with him for some time. And I love it when the guy falls for the girl first…swoon! I love the connection between these two characters. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author!

I kept waiting for someone to call them RyRy. Ryker is such a gentleman. He never pushes for more than Ryleigh is willing to give freely. When true heartfelt feelings happen was the best part of this book for me. Save Me, is a sexy romance novel worth reading again.

This is the first book I've read by Samantha Chase, and I think after reading this one I'll end up reading the others, too!

Ryleigh is fed up with her meddling mother. Her mom is always trying to set her up with guys that she feels would be a good match, but Ryleigh feels the opposite. After a fight with her mom, Ryleigh leaves the family owned pub and runs into Ryker, who offers her a deal. Just have her have a pretend boyfriend to have her mom leave her alone sounds good, right?

I really enjoyed the book, and it was great to see Ryleigh and Ryker's relationship develop over time from "pretend" to real. It was great to see the range of family dynamics. I need to go back and read the others, now!

Save Me is book 3 in The Donovans Series by Samantha Chase and y'all I've loved every single one of these books!
This small town, fake dating, opposites attract romance is engaging, well written and such fun.
Ryleigh Donovan and Ryker Masella was just the freaking best.
Their chemistry and relationship was phenomenal and had me swooning.
The banter in this book is adorable. I loved the family and side characters.
Incredibly difficult to put down.

I was excited to get an early copy of this book. I am an avid reader of all things by Samantha Chase and have devoured the Donovan series! I thought that the last one was my favorite, but now I think this one is the best one!

Ryleigh and Ryker are so perfect for each other, but it takes Ryleigh reaching her breaking point with her mom to finally push them together. We meet Ryleigh in the previous books and get glimpses of Ryker and that character tease just makes it more fun to finally read his story.

Save Me. Ryleigh’s fed up with her mother’s attempts to find her a husband. Enter Ryker, long-haired, tat covered, bearded Ryker, who Ryleigh knew was the exact opposite of what her mother would approve of. Thus begins a witty and sensitive fake relationship that will have all the Donovans curious. Series readers will be delighted as more layers are revealed about characters we all have come to know and love. The family dynamics are presented with insight wrapped in humor. While this relationship can be read as a stand-alone, this reviewer strongly suggests that new readers start with Dare Me, the first book in the series. This ARC also included a sweet short story about Ryleigh’s BFF, Ivy. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of the book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

The Donavon Family dynamics come to a head in this installment of the series! Ryleigh has finally had enough of her mother's meddling and isn't going to stand for it any longer which gives Ryker the opening that he's been looking for to slide into Ryleigh's life. The author does an outstanding job of creating characters that are relatable and likable. Not to mention an outstanding steam level to get things warmed up between the drama of the other interpersonal interactions. I've gotten to where I can't wait for the next book to come out and am constantly looking for new books in the series. I'll definitely be waiting for the next book in this series to hit the shelves!
