This is another fun, captivating story that I didn't want to end.
When Ryleigh's mother goes overboard with her matchmaking , she is desperate to stop her meddling ways. Seeing Ryker, she decides to kiss him and create a fake relationship. Ryker has had a thing for Ryleigh forever, so he is all in with this scheme of hers. Of course, "fake " relationships can only stay fake for so long. So what happens when two people who are completely different, come together? Lots of sparks.
Love the characters and the craziness of the families. Such an enjoyable book.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love a good fake dating book and that's what we get with Ryleigh and Ryker. It was a quick read, 3rd book in an ongoing series. I enjoyed it. I would've like a bit more spice and would've preferred 1st person POV vs the 3rd but overall I enjoyed the story . Ryleighs family is a hoot!

Book 3 from the Donovan's series, Samantha Chase brings another sweet romance full of love and conflicts about finding your own journey and letting yourself live a true, light and compelling love ! I liked a lot, altough I have felt a little difficulty to be immersed in the beginning of the story.

I received an ARC of this book, all opinions are my own.

Overall this was an okay romance. Not a favorite but not something I hated. I liked the family and Ryker as a whole. I just didn't get Ryker's instant obsession with Ryleigh, there just seemed to be something lacking in that to make me love the book. For the first half of the book he was willing to go with whatever shenanigans that Ryleigh threw at him, no questions asked.

That isn't to say I didn't like Ryleigh as a character, I did adore her. She was independent, smart and great with her family. It just felt like something was missing in their story and they were more forced together then having a natural relationship. I am curious to read more from the author.

Ryker & Ryleigh’s story was awesome! Ryker was wandering aimlessly to escape his notoriety, although you don’t actually know that until half way through. Ryleigh’s mom sets her up relentlessly, but when you get her POV at the end? Amazing how it all played out! Ryker is a tatted stud and Ryleigh an overall great lady. The Donovan family has tons of wonderful people with hilarious family dynamics. Perfect ending!

What a good story. Ryleigh's mother was driving her crazy setting her up on blind dates with men that were very boring to her. She had turned down Ryker for months. He looked like the typical bad boy - long hair, tattoes, and an attitude that drove her crazy. When an incident occurred that made her agree to fake date him, things started changing.. He was crazy about her, but she wasn't sure at first. She admitted he was a great kisser, but was it still fake? When she found out who he really was, she was mad could she blame him for not being upfront? He explained why he hadn't told her and they melted into each other's arms.
The story flowed very well and I loved all the characters. Ryleigh's mother, Kate, went a little far in setting her up, but it ended up she had a good reason. Her brother Jason is the biggest flirt, but I think will learn his lesson soon. I can't wait until the next book.

I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

These Donovan siblings are wonderful!  Ryleigh has been my favorite from the beginning, I was waiting for her story, and I LOVED it!  She is a force to be reckoned with and is always there to support her friends and family.  Underneath this exterior of passion and strength is a vulnerable and sensitive woman.  She is tired of her mom constantly pushing her to the altar and trying to find the ‘right’ man for her.  She makes a spur of the moment decision to kiss Ryker in front of her mother.  Ryker-long hair-beard-tattoos, doesn’t mind one bit. In fact, he is elated that Ryleigh is kissing him. He has been trying to get her to go out with him for six months.  He'll take whatever he can get, even if their relationship is fake (and she only kisses him in public).

Samantha Chase creates these characters that burrow their way under your skin. Whether you like them or not, you can feel them and understand their motivation.  I’m furious with Ryleigh’s mother, but I can understand why she is like she is. She was able to redeem herself later in this story.  This is a clean fake relationship, small town, big family romance that has so much packed in it with big family drama and humor that had me laughing and shaking my head at the Donovan antics through most of the story.  I loved the depth she gave Ryker and his drive to excel and succeed.  I enjoyed watching Ryleigh finally open her eyes to who is right in front of her. This is a fantastic series.  While you can read ‘Save Me’ as a standalone, reading the first books in the series will give you a great window into the family dynamic of the Donovan family.  I received an arc of this book from NetGalley, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Ryleigh pretends to date Ryker so her mother will stop matchmaking. Ryker has always liked Ryleigh and is excited to pretend to be her bf.

Love fake dating books. This one is especially funny and romantic. Ryleigh and Ryker are terrific characters and have tons of chemistry together. So happy when they finally got together.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Save Me by Samantha Chase is the third book in the Donavan series.

Ryleigh Donovan is the eldest daughter. She's independent and is usually the peacekeeper of the family, but not this time. Her mother had gone too far with the ambush setups. It's time to stand up for herself. She just didn't expect it to end with an extremely hot lip lock with the tattooed bad boy.
Ryker Masella came to Laurel Bay Nevada he needed a change. He's private by nature, yet he can't keep to himself where Ryleigh is concerned. He's been enamored with her from the first time he saw her, but no amount of cajoling could get her to day yes to a date. If it takes an ill-conceived plan to thwart her mother to get her to spend time with him, he's game. Now, to prove to her, they can be more than a fake relationship and show her he's not the bad boy she thinks he it.

Third full length novel in the enjoyable Donovans series by Samantha Chase. This is also my personal favorite so far. The Donovans own a pub in Laurel Bay, NC and have five grown children (the characters ready for romance). They are loving, traditional and mom especially likes to meddle in their love lives. The eldest daughter Ryleigh is especially fed up with her mother’s continual set ups. After the latest disaster lead to harsh words with mom and a glorious exit from the pub she knows something needs to change. Ryker Masella is scruffy, bearded and has tattoos. He is the opposite of who Ryleigh sees herself dating. He has been trying to flirt with her and ask her out for six months and she continually shoots him down. (He appears in the previous book.)

To stop her moms meddling she suggests and he willingly agrees to be her fake boyfriend. But there isn’t anything fake about their attraction for each other. This is loving, fun and sexy. I enjoy books where the man is already smitten and is waiting for the woman’s feelings to catch up. Ryleigh is slow to show an interest in learning about Ryker. She recognizes his kindness but it takes a sibling to make her realize she doesn’t know what he does for a living. Chase can write both open and closed door romances. I prefer her open door like this one. She shows they have chemistry and are sizzling for each other many times other without getting into specific details.

I’ve had issues with the moms character especially in the previous book. She made food controlling and body shaming comments. I appreciate that she isn’t that way in this book is even apologetic for some of her actions. It makes me feel that Chase listened to her readers or planned for it all along. And in a redeeming moment she may have been a bigger manipulator than anyone knew.

I’ve really enjoyed this series and can’t wait for the next book, Charm Me, so I can see brother Jamie get his match. As an added bonus in my ARC there is a short story/novella about Ryleigh’s best friend Ivy. Ivy is a local paramedic and is reunited with her high school love Connor after he finishes his seven years in the Marines. Her heart was broken when he broke up with her and enlisted now there is a second chance. This is a sweet additional story. And story wise takes place before this novel.

Thank you to NetGalley, Chasing Romance Inc., and Samantha Chase for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ryleigh is tired of her mothers match making skills so she decides to “date” the bad boy of the town, Ryker. Ryleigh has always known Ryker as the bad boy with lots of tattoos and he has always hit on her and tried to ask her out. She thinks that dating him will get her mom off her back but the more time they spend together, Ryleigh doesn’t want it to end.

This fake dating troupe is the fourth book in the Donovan Series and I have loved getting to know the Donovan family. I think the closed-door love scenes between Ryleigh and Ryker were sweet and I love an opposites attract troupe.

Save Me sends the heart into freefall mode. From funny to flirty to frustrating, Ryker and Ryleigh prove hard to resist. Chase delivers a candy coated classic that turns deep emotion into mesmerizing romance.

This is the 3rd book of The Donovans series, it can be read as stand alone. My second in this series and this book is good.

Ryker you sly fox able to bait Ryleigh in right button, smooth his way to get a chanche with her. They relationship really build slowly, open up slowly, Ryker always remind Ryleigh to not put herself down, to proud what she really are. Beside that Ryleigh support Ryker creatifity, give him muse when he feel stuck. The Donovan family was really close knit, the mother of family really a mastermind to plot a plan.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

Tired of being set up by her meddling mother, Ryleigh takes her love life in her own hands and with one well placed kiss brings Ryker into a fake relationship. But Ryker has been in love with her from the moment he saw her. Can he really keep everything platonic to get her mother off her back? And what happens when the man she thought her mother would hate ends up being the perfect man for her? With wonderful characters and a storyline that the reader will not put down this was a fabulous read. Samantha Chase has a knack for bringing family dysfunction and hope and love into the reader's heart and not letting go. I for one want my very own Ryker!!

Ryker and Ryleigh were preciously real! Ryleigh felt like she wasn’t good enough and constantly felt inferior, so when Ryker did everything he could to show her that she was anything but, it made my heart so happy! I LOVE the huge Donovan family and their chaotic yet cohesive dynamic! I, also, NEED a story about Ryleigh’s baby brother, Jamie!!
