This was a cute and quick friends-to-lovers romance. Jacqueline and Vince, they're co-VPs at work and friends outside of the office. Vince decides to help "coach" Jackie in the world of dating when she's decided to approach the hot guy who runs by her office window daily. Vince's grand plan is to coach her so that when she's really read, he can make his move for her heart. If you enjoy a fun, and a bit steamy, romance - check this one out! I am excited to see this is a start of a series because I can't wait for Arm Candy to read more about Davis.

2.5 Stars Eye Candy by Jessica Lemmon is a re-release of the 2017 novel with a new cover. The story follows divorcée Jacqueline “Jackie” Butler, as she attempts to jump back into dating three years after her ex-husband cheated on her and left her for the other woman. Jackie’s best friend and co-VP, Vince Carson, is also divorced and they bonded when she helped him through that dark time a year prior when his wife left him for being unsuccessful with his failed real estate business. Vince convinces Jackie to ask out the man she ogles while he jogs by their office daily, but Vince actual hopes that the jogger will let Jackie down and that she’ll see that Vince is the better match for her.

This book was just middle of the road for me. I’m not a fan of the love triangle trope and didn’t particularly enjoy that part of the novel, but luckily it didn’t last long. There was also some miscommunication/not communicating their feelings in a mature way, which was also annoying. The characters were likable and I’m interested in Davis and Grace’s story following this one.

2.5 stars. The blurb for this book immediately caught my attention and it sounded super cute. I have to say the first few pages felt cringey to me. I understand the premise of Jacquelines attraction to this mystery man but the fact that she so openly ooogled this guy and went as far as setting a timer and having her office friend call to remind her of when he would be walking buy was super creepy. First off you can admire someone and have a crush on them without giving stalker vibes. Secondly if a man did the same thing to a woman the cops would be called. It just started kinda gross to me. I pushed through because I understood what the author was trying to do. But my first impression probably made me biased to the rest of the novel. The intro might not bother you, and you may have a totally different take. The rest of the novel got better but it wasn't really for me. The conflict keeping Jacqueline and Vince apart was weak and so over the top manufactured. I hate when a romance feels like it ABSOLUTELY has to follow a formula even if that means throwing reality out the window. Parts were cute, moments were fun but overall it was a pass for me.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Publishers for allowing me access to an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

I cant stop laugh reading this book. Bestfriend to Lover. Jackie already decide Vince is off limit and Vince trying to win her. I love author writing style, so cherry and glee, Vince obsession over Jackie was so swoony. When one of them jealous or pout its sweet, i like how each character mind their opinion after one sentence feel like i am in they position. Relationship not easy, Vince freak out really annoying, Jackie doubt was make sense with her past.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.
