Thank you for this advanced copy. I was not a fan of Shannon’s first book but thought I would give her another try. I thought this book was even worse than her first. The plot is way overdone. The characters seem all over the place and never really have much substance. The entire book lacks something. It wasn’t even halfway good skimming it. Unfortunately I just didn’t like anything about it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
I had really liked the summary of this one and decided to give it a try.
I really did not like anything about this book at all. None of the characters were pleasant or likable in any way. All of them had way too many connected issues. I figure out the “swap” situation pretty early on as well.
I struggled to finish the book but forged on. This just wasn’t for me. Too many storylines and timelines combined and add in the unlikable characters plus it just didn’t come off as a thriller or mystery at all.

Great Thriller.

Liz has a secret. A secret she and her friends have kept for 15 years.

This book keeps you on your toes! Every time I thought I had the storyline figured out, the story would take a complete 180. That is what makes a great thriller!

I love that we get past and present POVs from all four of the girls. It really kept the story from getting boring and dragging on.

The chapters are short and exciting. Shannon really makes you rethink everything about teenagers girls and sleep overs.

Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, A bit of a who done it and so many crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

I wasn't sure when I started this book and thought it felt a bit slow but wow! Once I started to get into it then it absolutely blew me away. It's so cleverly written with some amazing twists that had my jaw on the ground. I loved every second and its just so clever the way the story constantly shifts as more secrets are unravelled. The characters are well written and unique, the plot is quite similar to a number of other books but the quiting and the twists elevate this to a completely new level. As I said, there are a lot of books written with "reunion clouded by childhood secret thats come back to haunt everyone" so if you are venturing into that premise then this is one of the best versions you'll find. And for those who think it sounds too similar to a number of books you've read before....... you haven't read this one and will regret it if you miss out. A must read!

I wasn’t too sure about this book when I first read the synopsis but it blew me away.
Fantastic thriller which kept be gripped to the end with a great twist. It is told from a few different perspectives and told in past and present tense which make it very gripping definitely recommend this to all thriller book lovers.

This is a novel of mystery and intrigue. The different time periods, with so many characters and their voices, was problematic for me. Confusing to say the least. Each chapter was different for both. This is a talented author at writing a life like story. It would make a good television series. This book was sent to me by Netgalley electronically for review.
