Freak Bloodline is a perfect mix of FMC + a strong sci fi plot and complex relationships.
Jaynie is learning, adn struggling, to control her physic abilities, battling with side effects shes worries will have her ending up like her mother. When she meets Ethan (her half alien cousin), by being kidnapped, shes taken on a bit of a spin.

I really enjoyed the mix of imaginative scifi, delving into the human physce and the weird love triangle (was it really a triangle).
Looking forward to a sequel for this!

I've been looking for more sci-fi romances, but this one missed the mark for me. It is likely on account of the presence of a trope that is very controversial in the romance world (either a hit or a major miss, no in between). I find it diminishing when it occurs, but I realize this is personal preference.

I was incredibly surprised by Freak Bloodline! I went into this book that it would be a sci-fi and romance but was so happy to get the perfect blend from this book!
