Catherine Bybee never disappoints. I always come away from her reads feeling like the characters are real and we are acquaintances.
Goi has just turned 30 and his family celebrates by giving him a 3 week trip to Tuscany.
Emma has just realized her father isn’t going to promote her in his wine business. To make it worse her ex husband is a right hand man to her father. Can it get any worse than that?
Emma has just turned 30 and her mother insists Emma and her BFF, Nicole, plan a nice vacation as a birthday present. After planning and packing they are on their way to a 3 week tour of Tuscany.
The adventures in Tuscany bring Gio and Emma together in some fun and interesting ways.
Bybee always has a twist to her stories and Beginning of Forever is no different. Italian families, fun times in Tuscany, family surprises and dynamics, new friends and forever.
I received an advanced copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

I read this as a stand-alone, but will definitely look for others in this series. I loved Gio's family dramas and was rooting for Emma to succeed. The characters were so engaging and believable. makes me want to return to Italy.

A delightful read that has it all - great, relatable characters, adventure, romance, problems to overcome, and goals to strive for. I felt like Gio and Emma were friends by the end of the book.

This is a story of family and love. This book is part of the D’Angelos series but could easily be read as a stand alone. Part of the book takes place in Italy. It is Gio and Emma’s story and an excellent addition to the series. There is conflict, but also love and a bit of humor thrown into the mix. I loved this book and look forward to the next book in the series. I would give this book 41/2 stars. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

I absolutely love this book. I've reread the end of it several times now. It's a strong book about families and love. Gio's family we met in the last 2 books of the series and now we meet the woman he falls in love with and her family. Where Gio's family is all about love and family, hers is definitely not. Her father tries to control everything she does and she has finally had enough. Her mother gives her money to go on a fabulous vacation in Italy with her best friend and that's where she meets Gio. He only wants to find his one and only and says he won't date until then, but he can't resist her. They have a great time together and bond quickly. When they get home, they continue to see each other and travel from each of their towns. Things are getting serious when she gets some medical news that sets her back, but Gio is there to support her all the way. I loved the way her brothers and mother stood up for her and against her father. There was a huge surprise when she told her family about her condition that nobody saw coming.. This book was one of the best I have read. I highly recommend.

I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

Love books by this author!

Emma and Gio's story is a wonderful addition to the D'Angelo series. Gio is the last of the D'Angelo siblings remaining single. Sure, he's been in relationships but hasn't found the one. Emma is a recent divorcee whose father decided to keep employing her ex-husband. Awkward, right? So when Emma decides to take an Italy wine tour, she meets Gio, who happens to live about an hour away from her in CA.

A luggage mishap turns into an adventure for Emma and Gio, one that doesn't end when the vacation does. Emma has family and health challenges, but Gio is at her back for the whole time. This was a really nice romance set in beautiful locales.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

A beautiful addition to this series, and as expected very well written, some fantastic descriptions of Italy which make you long to visit.

A very solid 4.5 stars! I very much enjoyed this book - another great addition to this wonderful series although it can be read as a stand-alone book. There is so much going on in this book and it's truly a fun read. A large part of the book takes place in Italy, on a wine tour, and the descriptions of location and culture made you feel like you were there and added a lot of depth to the characters and plot. I really like how the author doesn't shy away from more 'heavy' topics but doesn't add them just to have some gravity. The D'Angelo familyis truly a family I would like to know and spend time with - especially at the dinner table! I look forward to more stories about them and their adventures. I received an ARC and am grateful to the publisher, the Author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

This is a BIG book - there are lots of topics tackled here, and done in a really lovely way. Emma is struggling to figure out her place in her family/family business and how to stand up for herself and decides to take a wine tour through Italy. Gio's large Italian-American family have booked him on that same tour for a birthday present. The two meet, and while there's definitely an aspect of insta-love/lust, the two really get to know one another over the course of the book. I think what I liked most is there was quite a bit of drama and plot, but there really is not much drama between Emma and Gio. While they are getting to know one another in Italy, and then back home, there aren't unnecessary miscommunications or issues between them. This felt like a very grown up, mature romance. I liked how Gio supported Emma, through all sorts of difficulties. I liked that Emma was strong and independent, but still could show that she wanted that support of a partner. There are lots of lovely discriptions of family, friends, Italy and of course wine. It felt a little long to me in the end, but it did help make all the pieces come together in the end. A great read! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

Beginning of Forever is a wonderful continuation of the D’Angelo family. This is Gio’s and Emma’s story. I love the D’Angelo family dynamics, the love and support given to everyone. Emma’s family adds a different dynamic and drama to the story. When a hereditary illness challenges Emma, her strength of character grows stronger as she stands up to her family. I loved this book and recommend it along with the first two in the series. They can be read as stand alone books but it is fun to reconnect with friends from all the books.

The third in the series about the D’Angelo family who are Italian restaurateurs in San Diego.
This book follows the last of the D’Angelo siblings to fall in love as Giovanni meets a fellow wine lover on a trip to Italy. Luckily she lives near in him back in the States.
I do love a Catherine Bybee novel. They are predictable (I mean that in a positive way), romantic and always show people who have each others’ backs, with a bit of challenge along the way. There’s some hot sex, but not so much the plot disappears, and a real expectation of a Happily Ever After. I’ll miss this series.
Many thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

Have so been looking forward to Gio's story! He is the youngest sibling in the D'Angelo family so we got to know him well in the first two books. Catherine Bybee has written another great story full of family, love, a little bit of angst and humor. This book can be read as a stand alone but I really enjoyed all of them and getting to know the whole family.

This book follows Gio, a wine sommelier and bartender for his family's restaurant, and Emma, the daughter of a huge wine label. Gio is happy with his life but his end goal is to eventually have his own small vineyard. For his birthday, his family gifts him a 3 week trip to Tuscany to do an intense wine tasting. Emma is the opposite of happy in her life. She works for her father's vineyard but in a low staff position even though she has the background to be more. Her frustration gets the best of her when her ex-husband is promoted to be her boss over her being promoted at all....on her birthday no less. As fate would have it, she goes on the same 3 week winery tour in Tuscany with her bestie and meets Gio. There is definitely attraction between the two but they don't act on it right away. Gio is done with one night stands but Emma doesn't trust after being burned by her ex. As the two flirt over wine competitions, hikes and the drama of lost luggage, a deeper bond is formed that continues when they get home. Emma finally gets a foothold in owning her own winery but it comes with strings from her father. Gio is helping her to maneuver dealing with that and showing how he can support her without controlling. Things seem great until Emma gets a diagnosis that rocks her world. Gio is right there to support her again and she really sees how a true partnership could work.

Overall a great read. I loved the banter while they learned each other in Italy but I loved the support that Gio provided when they got home. Emma has had conflict with her father for a while and then with her health scare. Just seeing her deal with it and relying on Gio was great. Would definitely recommend if you want a feel good romance.

A beautifully written book with romance in Italy, making you wish you were the one in Tuscany. This is the third in a series but can be read as a stand-alone and I loved it. The characters are really well written and have a great connection. I also loved the descriptions of Tuscany, everything sounded so amazing and beautiful it seems like the perfect place to fall in love. I will definitely be checking out the rest of this series.

A beautiful tour of Tuscany. A chance meeting of two people on a tour for their birthday and a lot of fun with their fellow travelers.
Romantic, funny and dramatic. I loved Gio and Emma. I enjoyed the family dynamics and the differences between the two families. Read this in one day. Wonderful.

Gio and Emma. Both Gio and Emma need a change in their lives and set off for an Italian vacation where they meet. They have so much in common, including their attraction to each other. So far, this is my favorite book of the series. Love to see both of them grow and support each other. Very sweet read. Also, love the support of the families; most of them anyways. Very good read.

ARC by NetGalley

I already had a dream of going to Italy. This book just solidified it so much more that if I don't get to do a wine tour in Italy in the next few years... I WILL DIE!!!!! I'm kidding, but seriously, someone please take me to Italy trip.

Gio is the only child left unmarried in a very close and warming Italian family and is gifted an wine tour in Italy as a incentive for his dream of starting a wine label.
Emma family is nothing like Gio's. Being the daughter of a well known wine label owner definitely has its perks. However, it also creates a difficult dynamic between her father and her, only making things worse when he promotes her ex-husband on the company... Upon meeting of this trip, it's very noticeable, not only their share interest on of wine, but also the feelings and attraction they start to feel...

Gio is honestly the kind of man I aspire to one day find. Family oriented, caring, supportive but not controlling, just so easy to be with, there's no unnecessary drama.
So glad that we don't get a 3rd act break-up!!!! I swear if we got it, I would be so mad!!!!

My only comments of making this book even better:
1. I wish that, after they came back home, they kept some more contact with the people from the tour.
2. As a med student, I was intrigued by the approach and accuracy on the medical part of the plot. I just wish that we got very subtle hints along the book that accumulate on it.
3. Obviously there's a Emma's family secret that comes out towards the end of the book. And we do get some what of a redemption act on her father's side. But it felt a little sudden to me. I wish that he took smaller steps on it, making it feel more authentic to me.
