Beginning of Forever by Catherine Bybee was a very good romance story. The character Gio was quite a character as all the characters were in the story. The wine tours in Italy were very descriptive.

Beginning of forever by Catherine Bybee is a heartwarming romance novel that revolves around the lives of Gio and Emma. The book is set in Italy where they meet on a winery/vineyard tour and embark on a slow-burning romantic journey. The author's skillful writing allows the reader to savor every moment of their budding relationship.
What sets this book apart is the realistic and relatable struggles that both Gio and Emma face. Emma's father has ignored her for most of her life, leaving her feeling neglected and unimportant in the family business. Meanwhile, Gio is the last of his family to find love, which makes him hesitant to pursue a relationship with Emma. The author expertly portrays the emotions and insecurities of the characters, making them feel genuine and relatable.
The plot takes a turn when Emma is faced with some terrifying medical news, adding an element of suspense to the story. However, the twist is handled with care, and the author does not rush through it, allowing the reader to empathize with the characters' struggles.
Overall,it is a delightful read that will warm the hearts of romance fans. The book provides an enjoyable escape to Italy while also dealing with real-life issues that many readers will relate to. Fans of the D'Angelo family will be thrilled to revisit them in this novel, and newcomers will be charmed by the family's dynamics

I have enjoyed this series so far, and Luca’s story was one of my favorites, but now that I have read Giovanni’s story, I think that Giovanni is my new favorite book-boyfriend. Gio has always wanted his own winery since he was a young boy but has always put his family first and his own priorities/dreams last. When his family gives him a surprise gift of three weeks in Italy, Gio can’t believe how fortunate he is to finally be able to live his dreams. Gio has always made sure that he was not committed to any relationships. That’s until he gets to Italy and meets Emma, who shows up in Italy with all her stuff in a bag since her luggage went somewhere else without her. The sparks instantly fly, especially when they find out how much both their dreams and love for wine are similar. Through all the ups and downs, Gio has Emma’s back always which her father and ex-husband have never had. I love how he stands up for her to her father and takes nothing from him. I also love how he is constantly boosting Emma's spirits and letting her know she is the woman she thinks she is. This was a great story and I highly recommend it. Can’t wait to see what Catherine Bybee has planned for us. Looking forward to it!!

LOVED! This series was so dang awesome. And Gio’s book did not disappoint. The D’Angelo series was just so great. Family, love and life’s ups and downs portrayed with so much zest. I could not put them down.

Every book I think…this one is the best. But every single book was great.

Gio and Emma’s book really had it all. And I loved how hard it got but he was right there. What every person wants in a partner when life gets you.

A must read series!

Boring. Couldn’t finish with such a disinterested plot line and flat character development. Maybe if I read the others on the series it will be more interesting.

Absolutely loved the latest in the D’Angelo series of books. We all knew that it was time for the baby brother to find ‘the one’ and this was the way it happened. Very interesting plot in Italy, I especially loved the suitcase bit. Then the story continues, back in California. Hope there are still more stories to come about this group of people. Really didn’t want this one to end

Beginning of Forever, read like a part one and part two kind of book. Part one is where Gio and Emma each go on vacation and meet and fall in love. Part two is where they are both back home (small world within driving distance of each other) and their love grows.
Gio's family is the best. I love how everyone has each others back no matter what. This is a book that I will telling everyone to read.

Oh be still my heart!! I love how Catherine Bybee tells a love story. The D’Angelo family are pure love and support, I love how they all rally around Gio and support him, even when it takes him away from them, even before they know Emma. They lead from the heart and it’s beautiful.

I loved the slowly unfolding love story of Emma and Gio, how we could see how totally smitten for each other they were, yet they took the time to form a solid friendship before letting that heat loose. Gio supports Emma through all the stress she has to navigate with her dad and then her health, he shows her how much he loves her by turning up and letting her have control of the few small things that are available to her at the time. He and his family show her what a real family is and how they love loud and proud. The twist about her parentage was quite a surprise and once again Gio’s strength and love builds a bridge for Emma to finally have her dad show his love for her in a way that she needed.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish and I can’t wait to see what comes next from Bybee.

I absolutely fell for Gio and Emma. I love how Gio was the playboy and now is in the stage of his life where he's ready for more. He went from charming playboy to charming boyfriend. Due to Emma's disastrous first marriage, he did have to do some chasing with her but even that showed Gio chasing the way you want to see a man chase a woman. He had me charmed from the very beginning.

Emma was so relatable. I understand the feeling of why she was so hesitant. Once burned, twice shy, kind of hesitancy. The best part, is that she didn't let that rule her. At some wonderful encouragement from her best friend, she opened up. Not huge, but enough for Gio to start the process of earning her trust.

I felt this book deeper than the previous ones. Maybe because seeing all the D'Angelos paired up and being that one big family unit, or maybe it was the message of opening ourselves to be vulnerable and seeing what can come form that. Either way, I feel like I couldn't put this book down and was thrilled how it all came together at the end. Great book!

I have had the privilege of reading all of the books in this series and I am always eager to get my hands on the next installment of The D’Angelo’s.

This book features Giovanni the D’Angelo child that still hasn’t found “The One”. His family gifts him a 3 week tour of the vineyards in Italy for his 30th birthday. As it would happen, Emma Rutledge is given a large check for her birthday and decides to treat her and her friend, Nicole, to (the same) three week tour of Italy. What are the chances? Right? Well, in a romance story it was meant to be!

I couldn’t get enough of this story and I was always eager to find the time to sit down and read some more. This is a very sweet and family oriented story with a little health scare and DNA issue thrown in to keep it intriguing..

A sweet story with Tuscany as the backdrop, I loved that Gio finally got his HEA and, along with Emma, their dream. The descriptions of the setting were well done and really brought me into the story. And having had read the other books in the series, it felt like visiting old friends again. Overall, a wonderful story with plenty of feels.

BEGINNING OF FOREVER (The D’Angelos Book #3) by Catherine Bybee is another perfectly wonderful contemporary romance addition to The D’Angelo family series. This story features Giovanni D’Angelo and his discovery of that one true love traveling from the vineyards of Italy and back to California. This romance can be read as a standalone, but there are family member connections throughout tying to the first two books in the series.

Giovanni “Gio” D’Angelo has always loved everything connected to wine since his first visit with his grandfather in Italy. He has become a sommelier and works in his family’s restaurant, but his dream has always been to own a small vineyard of his own. For his thirtieth birthday, his family sends him on a three-week tour of Italian vineyards.

Emma Rutledge was born into a prominent Napa wine family and has worked hard for her place in the family business, but her father never sees her as an asset. For her thirtieth birthday her mother sends Emma and her best friend, Natalie, on a wine tour to take a break, but Emma is already making new plans for her future.

Gio has a house full of strong women in his family and the feisty, redheaded Emma catches his attention. Their shared love of wine and dreams of having their own vines connects them and only adds to the growing chemistry, but Emma is not looking for forever. When they return to California, Gio continues to show Emma he is a partner with suggestions, but never wants to make her decisions for her. When Emma receives a medical diagnosis that changes her life, Gio proves he is at her side for everything and anything, forever.

I loved Emma and Gio’s journey to love and HEA! Every one of the stories in this series has been an absolute delight! Ms. Bybee knows how to bring a romance together even with all the messy things in life that can interfere. With the D’Angelos, like in many big Italian families, difficulties can be overcome with the help and love of family, friends and food and the comparisons between the D’Angelo and Rutledge families leave me with an easy decision of which I would rather belong to. I enjoyed catching up with all the other family member’s relationships and wish I could go to Little Italy and meet them all.

I highly recommend this delightful and heart-warming contemporary romance. The entire D’Angelos series is worth the read!

This was a terrific conclusion to the D'Angelos series. Giovanni D’Angelo has always dreamed of running a vineyard while Emma Rutledge is struggling to use her talents at the family vineyard. For the two of them, a wine tasting trip through Tuscany is not only a dream vacation but the start of a whole new life and career. Emma and Gio are engaging characters that you just can't help but root for as they make their way through Tuscany. Even the secondary characters add so much to the story. All in all, a great story and a wonderful end to the series. I only wish my lost luggage incident had the same happy ending that Emma's did!

This book! I had previously read the precursors to this book and was beyond excited to read this one. Beginning of Forever is a great finale to the D'Angelo series. I had already fallen in love with the D'Angelo family and seeing the final son on his journey to happiness made the series complete. This book offers love, romance, struggle, family turmoil and above all else happiness. The relationship between Emma and Giovanni is one that you watch blossom. You fall in love with them as they fall in love with each other. I can honestly say this was a great ending to a wonderful series!

~~~ I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ~~~
Another great book in Catherine Bybee's D'Angelo Series. I adore the characters in this series. Beginning of Forever is the story of Giovanni and Emma who meet on a wine tour in Tuscany, Italy- and they're both form Southern California. Emma is in the midst of a family battle at home that Gio ends up helping her through after they return. Their relationship develops with some hurdles, but they come out of it together and with a stronger family in the long run. I highly recommend Beginning of Forever, and hope there are more books in this series.
Part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. A trip to Italy and winery's tour set's uo the meeting of Emma and Gio. Follow as the romance develops. Family resistance, health issues are overcome by this adorable couple.
A relaxing and enjoyable read
I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
As these two navigate through life and future plans their live grows. You don’t want to miss out on this one!
