Vegetable Gardening for Beginners by Samantha Johnson and Daniel Johnson is 144 pages long with many color photos of how to or describes an aid in gardening. The book suggests that with its help, you can learn to grow anything no matter where you live.
I’ve been gardening seriously for about 5 years and I would agree. This is definitely a helpful guide to starting. Learn is the important word here and I found this helpful and I do recommend it if you want a reference.

This volume is a very good book for first time gardeners. It helps the beginner decide on the type of garden, teaches the basics of soil and seed selection as well as all other aspects of gardening. An excellent choice for the new gardener.

A truly wonderful resource for beginners or thos who need a refresher. I've got quite a bit of gardening experience, but I moved this year and know nothing about this are. This book helped me to minimize my efforts and focus on the sameness instead of the differences. I bet you know someone who would love this book.

It is assumed that readers know little to nothing about gardening, and this book truly provides everything that someone would need in order to get started. This is a great resource for everyone who wants to try out gardening, and can also be a great reference tool for anyone who has been gardening for a while but could use a refresher on the fundamentals.

With the price of food many are turning into home or urban gardening. This book is an excellent resource for those getting started and even those with experience to treasure as a reference. The text is easy to follow and understand, explained enough but not overly explained making the information feel dull. The photos are beautiful and reflect the text, offering visual cues.

A unique feature in this book is the idea of planning ahead for future years. Often new gardeners do not take this into consideration and it is so important. I appreciate the author being mindful to what the readers need. I also loved the mention of community gardens. Not only do they share information but at times seeds or crop harvest. Community gardens are an asset and should be recognized.

Great book for information, future reference and even an excellent gift idea!

I am so glad I got this book to read. This book suits me because I am just starting vegetable gardening this season. An easy-to-understand book. Now it's time to put it all into practice.

I like how this is an easy going book that focuses on helping people, and it is easy to finding the sections one might need. I think this book will be a helpful read if you are an inspiring gardener!
