Mariah Ankenman's third installment in her Mile High Firefighter's series is fast paced, quippy and entertaining. If you love a contemporary romance that is infused with fun, interesting characters and delightful situations than The Firefighter's Dilemma is sure to work for you! Ankenman's writing is accessible, witty and full of charisma. This novel is interesting and unique, and if you love a firefighter romance you are sure to find this highly enjoyable. A battle of the First Responders web show is such a delightful set up to force our two battling firefighters to examine their true feelings for the other. This set up is perfect to create moments of energy and humor. A reality show also gives the hero and heroine the perfect circumstances to work as a team and embrace and learn from the other. Ankenman also knows how to pack in the heat and sensuality, these two have blazing chemistry which make this a quick and entertain read. I think Mariah Ankenman is an author worth putting on your radar! Her firefighter series is a wonderful place to start and this novel is so fun and it is so delightful seeing a fireman and firewomen go head to head with each other learn to respect and compromise for the other. |

I’ve been waiting for Ward and Diaz for what seems like forever but they were definitely worth it. Once they got out of their own way, they were perfect for each other. |

A quick sweet story about two firefighters, Eli and Stephanie. I really enjoyed the First Responders web show. I am a reality TV nut and would find this interesting. The romance was a bit rushed, but it was obviously brewing a long time prior. I enjoyed both the mains and was rooting for them. I didn't realize this was a series, and reading the first two might have helped lay some groundwork for me. Many thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. |

As always Mariah Ankenman has an amazing ability to combine a steamy romance with such a sweet story! Stephanie and Eli have the same idea when they apply for the same promotional job. As both of these characters are very competitive, things start to get heated. This book is a dual POV which I loved! Overall the story was a little predictable but enjoyable. A massive thank you to the author, netgalley and publisher for a copy of this e-arc in exchange for an honest review. |

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this book. I really enjoyed this book! The story was interesting and I am a sucker for characters that have history. Their time falling in love felt very rushed, however. There wasn’t enough of it in my opinion. |

Mariah Ankenman does it again! I absolutely adore her novels and now comes my favorite "couple", Diaz and Ward, Sparks flew in the other novels that gave us small snippets of this flirtatious banter but, it was something wild when we finally got a novel about these rambunctious duo. The challenges, the flirting, and THE SPICE. I just loved every moment of it! |

4.25 stars Holy Hannah this one is hot!! First off, shout out to having a diverse FMC and she's a firefighter!! We need more characters like this! Diaz and Ward have the best banter!! That's one of my fav parts in reading romance and theirs' was perfection!! The spice was well written! This was a fun, fast, easy read! It did feel a little rushed to me but I still enjoyed it. I didn't realize this was a series when I requested it. I think it can easily be read as a standalone but I"ll definitely be going back to read the first 2 books! Thank you Mariah, Netgalley, and Entangled Publishing for my review e-copy!! |

An amusing and heartwarming romance. The banter was great and I liked seeing their relationship move from banter and competition to romantic. Overall, an enjoyable read. |

This was a sweet friends/co-workers to lovers romance. From the beginning, I fell in love with Stephanie and Eli and the ways in which they balanced one another out. Where Stephanie was strong minded and extremely disciplined was Eli laid back and approachable. Their differing personalities not only made them wonderful friends and eventual lovers, but also the perfect team to take part in the Battle of the First Responders competition. I loved the type of competition that was created for the story, and were it something that were to happen in real life I’d be invested in it. While it was great getting to see some of the competitions that the teams took part in, I would’ve loved to have gotten to see more interaction between Stephanie and Eli and the other teams. The only other team interaction that was shown was that between them and the nurses, Kayleigh and Cora; and while the friendship that was formed between Stephanie and Kayleigh was great to see, I also wanted to meet all of the competitors even if it was just to know their names. Having never read any of the authors previous works, I really enjoyed this book and appreciated the fact that despite this being the third book in the series, the story is a stand-alone and no previous knowledge of other characters or previous events was needed. it should be noted however that I look forward to reading the two previous books and hope to see more books in the series be produced. |

Oooohh, burn baby burn! It was one of the hot sizzling romance books I’ve read in a while. I love it when both of them were firefighters.!! Yes! They were signed up for a reality game show by their boss to represent the company. They reluctantly went until they found out there’s prize money which could help out their situations. It is a slow burn at the beginning as they learn about each other. As they compete against other teams, will they realize they’re meant for each as they try to keep their passion out of live public view? What exactly is the firefighter’s dilemma? Get this sizzling book and find out for yourself! Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for this delightful copy! Three and a half stars Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ |

I thought that this book had a good storyline The book had some great characters and they were really well developed, I loved the communications between them and the interaction was great The story had feels and passions that were on fire (no pun intended), it also covered making romance work and the ins and outs The story was romantic and sexy and a great read all around. It is 4 stars from me for this one – highly recommended! |

Quick Summary: A 5-alarm fire romance My Review: The Firefighter’s Dilemma by Mariah Ankenman was a little bit of sass and a whole heap of hotness. About the Book: When Stephanie and Eli were forced into close proximity for a competition, little did they know that the magnitude of their attraction to one another would be turned up to full blast. As they did everything in their power to become the winning team, they had to face an ever growing attraction. Would either have the power to walk away from the other person? About the Tension/Chemistry; The tension between the partners was palpable. From the beginning, it was easy to see that something was there. No matter how they fought, they were always destined to generate the type of heat that can only lead to forever. My Final Say; Readers who enjoy stories with strong female leads and honorable male supports will really like this story. I strongly recommend it. Rating: 4.5/5 Recommend: Yes Audience: NA to A Re-read: Yes Status/Level: 🌶️ Thanks to the author and to Entangled Publishing for providing a digital ARC for review via NetGalley. The words I have shared are my own. |

I had fun reading this book, but I felt like there were certain parts that I didn’t really enjoy. But I loved the banter and chemistry between Stephanie and Ward |

If you’re looking for hot firefighters, colleagues romance/forced proximity, I cannot recommend The Firefighter’s Dilemma enough. Stephanie Diaz and Eli Ward are both firefighters in Colorado and are invited to participate in the first ever streaming Battle of the First Responders. While the duo is in tough competition amongst other first responders, feelings build behind the scenes between Diaz and Ward. The smexy scenes were steamy - Diaz and Ward had some serious chemistry between them! I honestly fell in love with these two. I was routing for them in the Battle of the First Responders challenges and as a couple. The Firefighter’s Dilemma is the third book int the Mile High Firefighters series, but can definitely be read as a standalone! Thank you to Turn the Page Tours for a copy of this book and including me on this tour (even if I am really late posting the review!). |

I would like to thank Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Enjoyable |

Stephanie Diaz has a strict no dating co-workers policy after getting burned at her old station but she's finding it difficult to keep her feelings for co-worker Eli Ward professional and non-romantic. Will she survive staying alone with him in a cabin for two weeks? Eli has kept his desire for Stephanie under control but when they take a trip away from the firestation to participate in an outdoor rescue compete the money is a huge incentive to win. Each challenge will push them closer together making it more difficult to fight their desire. Will they be able to ignore their feelings or will they give in and discover a love that scorches? Another must read from Mariah Ankenman that left me wanting more from this cast of characters. I can't wait to read more from Mariah! |

Action packed, emotional roller-coaster filled with witty and engaging charters, exciting twists and heart racing turns. An edge of your seat not sure what will happen next romantic adventure with all the best highs an lows. Great reading! |

Yes, finally! After The Dating Dilemma last year, I learned that Ward and Diaz would get their own story as well. The sparks had been flying between those two during both the Mile High Happiness and the Mile High Firefighter’s series. And now, after Finn, Parker and Dyson have found their HEA, both Eli Ward and Stephanie Diaz are the remaining singles in their firefighter’s team. In this part we learn that Eli has had a crush on Stephanie for years. (which was no shock to me). But since Stephanie has put him in the friend zone from the beginning, he hasn’t acted upon it. When they are thrown together by their boss to compete in a rescuers to series, Ward learns that Diaz also has feelings for him. And now all bets are off: Ward will prove Diaz they are meant together. But she isn’t that easily convinced. A cute and funny friends-to-lovers story. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc. |

Loved this rom com of Stephanie and Eli, fellow firefighters, both wanting to move up the chain of command. They have always been coworkers/friends but with hidden feelings for each other. They have been entered into a reality show by their chief, to prove who was stronger to move up the ladder. With this forced proximity many feelings come out of what their future will bring. Loved these characters, great sizzling hot chemistry and lots of laugh out banter. I had a hard time putting this book done. This is the third book in the series, I have not read the first two, will now. I read this through my kindle unlimited. |
