This was my first read from Jenny Hartwell and I definitely enjoyed it! Well-done character development, interesting story line and enjoyable secondary characters. Not super steamy, but there was tangible chemistry between Pippa and Jack. It was lovely to watch them influence the other - Pippa opening Jack's mind to new ideas and Jack helping Pippa open her eyes to the beauty living alongside the scary stuff in the world around her. I am looking forward to future installments in this series, and look forward to finding out more about the school's origins and the threats against it.
