A new addition to David Field's Medieval saga centered this time around the tumultuous reign of King John from 1199 to the 1215 Magna Carta that placed limits to his royal authority. A captivating novel full of twists and turns, impeccable historical details and blessed with a terrific cast of exquisitely drawn characters. I simply can't get enough of this Plantagenet fictional tapestry!

Highly recommended and to be enjoyed without any moderation whatsoever!
