Absolutely loved this new one from Sarah Bennett!! Just brilliant and very refreshing!!
The story is around Hope Travers who lives in a farmhouse with her close extended family, who she lives and works with, in the grounds of her family’s estate. She has wanted to start a new project to build herself her own home, but as soon as the builders start on the foundations they discover some antiquities that mean she has to pause for an archaeological dig to discover the history hidden beneath. The local archaeologist and his friends and students from the university come and camp for the summer.
I totally loved the community on the estate and in the village, the great characters within the story, the difference in upbringing but not in the essence of people, and written beautifully as always.
Warm hearted, full of surprises, intrigue and guesswork. Brilliant!!
Can’t wait for the next book now!!!
Thank you as always Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the early read! Fabulous!!

I didn’t mind this book but to be honest I found it slightly dull. The characters didn’t have much spark and the romance element was just not very exciting at all, almost like the couple were just put together for the sake of it. But I appreciate it’s part of a series so maybe the next storyline will be more exciting

I hate to say it, as a massive fan of the author's previous series #MermaidsPoint, but I was slightly disappointed by this one. I really enjoyed the family's entrepreneurial spirit and all the different estate businesses. And, I liked both Hope and Cameron but I didn't really like them together. Their 'romance' felt a little sparkless, like a couple who'd been together forever and not one that had just got together. I was also disappointed by the ending. This is also going to be a series but it felt like it and it felt a bit unfinished.

I really enjoyed this book. It had the fabulous formula of love, family and friendship as well as secrets, drama and a little puzzle or two to solve. Really well written and very likeable characters.
Hope lives with her mum, aunt, uncles and cousin in a busy farmhouse on the grounds of Juniper meadows estate. Although she loves them all to bits she is ready for her own place. After months of planning the day has arrived for the construction to start on her very own home also, in the grounds of the estate.
Having barely started the construction crew come across something which could be of historical importance so have to stop and seek expert advice. Hope asks a local archaeologist - Cameron Ferguson what she needs to do. After a visit to the site Cameron and his best mate Barnie get together a group of experts and students to undertake a dig.
As the dig progresses several acts of vandalism take place putting the dig and the guests staying at Juniper Meadows at risk. Family secrets cause tension and the chemistry between Hope and Cameron is visible for all to see. Will they be able to find out what the construction men uncovered and who is causing all this trouble for them?

I love Sarah Bennett’s writing, she has written one of my very favourite series in this genre (Butterfly Cove - if you’ve not read them you absolutely must!). So I was thrilled to read the first in a new series & meet some of the characters who will feature in what I imagine will be several enjoyable visits.
As always, Sarah gives readers believable , fully-formed characters & interesting storylines that capture the imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, but it did come to an abrupt ending, although it did introduce us to the storyline to come. I hope we won’t have long to wait to return to Juniper Meadows.

A new start to the series, a book of friendships, family, love and secrets all rolled into one, a great start for readers to love.
Hope Travers and her family in the farmhouse on the Juniper Meadows estate that has been past down through generations is the family's history in jeopardy after a construction crew uncover ruins that's run by
Cameron Ferguson and what is unveiled.
A romance that I hope will carry on in more books to come.
Where we belong lets readers get to know all the characters and their day to day lives that captures a warm feeling in you with secrets to be told.
I adored this read a great start, a new beginning, with wholesome chapters that fun fill your reading time, just lovely once again by this author, a well deserved 5 stars.

I absolutely loved the start to this new series, though i was a bit disappointed with how it ended so quickly after we were finally getting some answers. But that's down to me as i don't like to wait. So many questions still need answering and i can't wait to see what unfolds next

Being a big fan of Sarah Bennett books, I was really looking forward to reading this book. As it's the first book in a series there is a lot going on, lots of characters all part of the same family, members of the dig and all the extras along the way. It all take a bit of concentration got take it all in. I think a few characters less would of helped. That apart I enjoyed the book and will read the next part. Thank you netgalley for the advanced copy

This book was another amazing story to a new series by this author. Having loved her other books I was looking forward to getting my teeth into this new series. I loved the setting of Juniper meadow and the relatable characters and am looking forward to see how their characters and the story develops in the next instalment

This was so much more than just a romantic read and also covered a lot of other themes such as family and friendships interwoven within the descriptions and developments of the archeological dig being at the forefront and centrepiece of this story.

Am looking forward to book 2 with eager anticipation.

It took me several chapters to really get into this book.
There’s a lot going on with several characters having family drama. Then there’s the whole archeological dig.
I almost think there’s too many subplots for one book.
This is book one in a new series but it just didn’t keep my interest enough to want to read book two.
Thanks to the Rachel’s Random Resources for the early copy

I always tend to enjoy the way Sarah Bennett writes her romances, so of course I couldn't resist adding the first book of a brand new series to my shelves. I loved the sound of the blurb with the Cotswold countryside setting and the archeology angle, and I have been looking forward to read it. Now that I've had the chance to do so, I can say that I was more than pleased with what I found! It turned out to be yet another enjoyable romance read, and an excellent start of this new series. I will already be looking forward to return to Juniper Meadows for more!

This author always picks the most wonderful settings, and the Cotswold countryside is no exception. The descriptions really made Stourton-in-the-Vale and Juniper Meadows come alive for me, and it made me wish I could visit the estate myself. I loved how important the setting was in the plot, and how the estate was woven into the fabric of the lives of the Travers family. The archeology angle was one of the highlights for me as well. There is nothing too technical to worry about, but the story is given extra flavor with details about what goes into organizing and participating in a dig.

The characters themselves were mostly lovely, but then again that is what I've become used to with her books. Hope and Cameron were so easy to like, and their chemistry was great from the beginning. There are so many other wonderful characters though, and I already can't wait to see them in the future books. The Travers family in general is brilliant, and it will be interesting to learn more about their past and secrets. Cameron's friend and colleague Barnie makes for such a great character as well, and I always love having pets incorporated into the plot. The dogs were such a wonderful addition!

I do have to say that there was a tad too much drama for me going on. Between the Travers family secrets, Scott's father, the sabotage and Amelia's troubled home, it just felt all a bit too much... I would have much preferred a focus on just one or two elements instead, and just to balance out the otherwise uplifting feel of the rest of the story. The ending itself was quite abrupt as well, and left things a little too open to be satisfying. I know there are more books to come, but I didn't feel that Hope and Cameron's story was wrapped up properly. These were only minor blips though, because I did end up enjoying the story in general.

Sarah Bennett has a way of writing her stories that makes you invested in the main characters from the very beginning, and the cast in Where We Belong is no exception. I can highly recommend it to anyone who loves a well written and mostly uplifting romance read with an idyllic countryside setting.

Fabulous and I already can’t wait to catch up with the exploits at. Juniper meadow. I really liked the family story, can’t wait To read Amelia’s story and hope Daisy wakes up and smells the coffee over Keith.
I loved reading about the dig, hope Scott gets stronger and more invoked. This was brilliant. Thank you netgalley fur this arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book marks the start of a new series from successful author Sarah Bennett. I have enjoyed several of her previous collections and sat down to read, looking forward to meeting some new characters and locations. As anticipated, I found myself quickly immersed in the story, set in a small Cotswolds village.

The story centres on the Travers family, owners of Stourton Hall, now a luxury hotel and spa renamed Juniper Meadows. The family, including Hope, her mother and aunt, as well as her uncles and cousin, all live in a large farmhouse on the estate, where outbuildings also house a gin distillery and workshops. Seeking some independence, Hope is keen to move out of the farmhouse, but construction of her new house elsewhere on the estate is stopped when ancient artefacts are discovered at the site. Archaeologist and lecturer Cameron Ferguson is called in to examine the finds and he subsequently sets up a dig. When strange and upsetting things begin to happen around the estate and even family relationships become strained, Hope wishes that she had never instigated the investigations into the past. The family trust that the upset caused by the various events will not ruin the thriving relationship developing between Hope and Cameron.

I can highly recommend this most enjoyable book and I am already looking forward to the next one in this series. I liked that the main storyline regarding the archaeological finds ran alongside a mystery regarding the unfortunate events taking place on the estate and who was behind it all. Apart from that person and one other, I loved all the characters in the story, and was definitely attracted to the handsome Cameron. The situation where all the family members live and work together sounds so comfortable, but I could understand Hope wishing move into her own accommodation at least. The book ends with a promise of more excitement at Juniper Meadows.

This is the first book in the gorgeous new series by Sarah Bennett entitled Juniper Meadows. Where We Belong, now available in paperback and e-book has to be on your list of reads. It's prefect to be chilling on the beach or to be reading by a pool with a glass of wine.

From the moment I read the outline of this book, I was excited as this sounded just my type of book. Some I'll read and want to reas them, then there's those I am really excited about. Thank you for letting me have early access.

Where We Belong introduces to Hope Traver, the granddaughter of a baron, with a family that is riddle with secrets.

Hope works hard to help whereever she can when it comes to her family business, though when she has an overwhelming need to move out of the family's framhouse they now live in, she not only opens another pot of secrets, but brings Dr Cameron Ferguson to her door. Or more like she goes to his. Imagine your building your own new home when suddenly the construction team unearth a artfiect that stops the house from being built.

Hence how she comes to the door of the Doctor. Together with his loveable sidekick, Dr L Barnard (I'll let you find out what the L stands for), comes to the family estate. Now a thriving community within itsself, the family seems to have everything going for them until its not only the now dig that is giving Hope caused for concern.

I'm not going to spoil the book, it's probably going to be my February Book of the Month, but this book has layers upon layers of storytelling. This, for me, it's Sarah's best work and I'm so excited to read the rest of the series. I fell in love with Juniper Meadows, from the outline and even more when I began reading Hope and Cameron ' Cam' story. It's hard not fall in love with them especially Hope who you just want to wrap your arms around.

I never wanted it to end.

Oh my word, Sarah, you've done it again. I've always loved your stories but this was exceptional, full of love, laughter and sadness too, I can hardly wait for the next story in this new series!

This book had promise, but developed so slowly that in the end I skipped several chapters, and could still easily follow the storyline. The ending was ok but felt a bit unfinished, as though the author was only supposed to write so many words and used them all up on the rest of the story, so didn’t have time to finish the ending properly. I’m guessing there will be another book in the series which will help to finish this story off, but I shan’t be buying it as the first one couldn’t hold my interest

I loved this story about a beautiful stately home and an archeology dig. Lots of family secrets that you learnt some of in this book.I was a bit surprised to get to nearly the end and then realise there are more books to come but I will be first in line to buy them. Hope was a great main character . You had love and good family relationships. I loved the shared family house and the meals. A great read

Where we Belong, is set on a sprawling estate ,now running as a Spa, farm and much more. Add to it there's an archaeological dig in its initial stages in the estate ground.

With the dig being started there's more than earth being unraveled for the family who's estate it is. All these elements had me hooked as the story was told in an easy manner and flowed very well.

This is a part of a series, this story ends on a cliffhanger -ish, which if you don't mind, so pick up a copy.

This book was so good. I love books like this. There's the slow burn romance, family drama and others things going on around them and I eat it up. This book gave me the warm glow in the center of my chest that I love with a good story.
I just reviewed Where We Belong by Sarah Bennett. #WhereWeBelong #NetGalley

Join the Travers family in this story of family and friends. Secrets abound. The characters are realistic, and the novel is difficult to put down. The author is talented and gifted. I liked this book that was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Curl up in a cozy chair and spend an afternoon with the characters in this book. A quick fun read.
