These projects are so adorable! Be forewarned, when they say tiny, they mean tiny. These projects are really small, which means they can be done quickly, but they do require some dexterity. Definitely recommended for any crafters who want to work on something cute and small. It’s also a good introduction to how plushies are shaped, as a bonus.

This book was very well organized. I loved the photographs. The directions were written in a very clear and precise way. While I haven't had the opportunity to make any of these lovely cuties yet, I am looking forward to doing so soon. I think those that have completed these types of projects before, as well as newcomers, will enjoy this lovely craft book.

Tiny Felt Cuties and Creatures is so much fun and I am sure you will enjoy it if you are interested in creating cute felt toys.

The book is very straightforward and explains everything you need as well as how to make it. Tiny Felt Cuties and Creatures begins with Tools and Materials and is followed by The Basics of Hand Sewing. Next we are on to the fun stuff - Teeny Tiny Critters with Accessories and then Tiny Dolls and Dollhouses. The last section of the book includes all the patterns.

There are 13 projects in total - 9 teeny tiny critters, including a dog, frog, fox, pet bed, doghouse, and 4 tiny dolls. They truly are tiny, around 2” or less. There are written instructions as well as step-by-step photos to guide you along. For each project, Ms. Iris recommends stitching, which is fully explained in the chapter detailing the basics of hand sewing.

This book is great for beginners and will use up any scraps of felt you didn’t know what to do with. I love that it is filled with tiny things to make because that is something you don’t usually see plus they are all so adorable! This is one book I must buy and have in my craft library!

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group - Walter Foster Publishing and NetGalley for an advance reader copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Such a mega cute book! This is great for those wanting to use leftover felt scraps to make tiny felt creatures and dolls.

This book is divided into 5 main chapters after the Introduction which include:
- Tools and Materials
- Basics of Hand Sewing
- Teeny-tiny Critters & their Accessories
- Tiny Dolls & Dollhouses
- Patterns

There are nine designs in Teeny-tiny Critters and four in the Tiny Dolls chapters. Each design is around 3 to 5 cm high - yep tiny!

Each design has a pattern to use at the rear of the book and then comes with written and photographic steps for you to follow, including the stitching you should use to make the item - the stitching is explained in the Basics of Hand Sewing chapter.

I'd certainly recommend this book as a fun way to use up felt scraps and is a great way to get started.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for a honest review.

thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC
This is a nicely put together starter book with patterns and instructions for how to make small toys from felt by hand. 5 out of 5
The author is very successful on Etsy with a variety of patterns and kits for these kinds of toys, so it's nice to have a book that demonstrates a variety of patterns for crafty people to try out.
There are lots of step by step photos which is great for a beginner book.
Patterns for all the projects are included, and there's a good variety as well.
This book would make a great gift, or it would be fun for family activities as well (basic sewing skill only).
Would recommend to anyone who wants to try simple handmade sewn toys.

Thirteen adorable projects lie within these pages, just waiting for you to bring them to life. There are animals and accessories, some dolls, a teddy bear, and cute mushroom and tree stump houses for them all to live in. Actual-size patterns are included for all projects, but they can be enlarged if you want your cuties to be not quite so tiny. There are clear, easy-to-follow instructions with many photos to help guide you.

Trust me - if you can thread a needle, you've got this!

The patterns are cute and easy to make. This is a good introduction to making tiny crafts.

Loved this so much, I have never felted before but always wanted to try and with this book you can instantly start with things I already owned and anyone should be able to if they are a crafter. I love how cute the projects look too. This is a great book, with clear photos and easy to follow instructions it makes you really eager to jump in and give it a go.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

If you’re looking to get into felt sewing or are just looking for some cute patterns, this is the book for you! Inside you will find several adorable patterns that are simple and easy to follow. I got into sewing last year, so I knew I had to check out this book when I saw it. The tools and materials section is pretty straight forward, but I was excited to learn about using tape to secure patterns to the felt for cutting purposes. I’ve been pinning my patterns to the felt, but using tape is going to be a total game changer!

The hand sewing section includes some basic yet essential stitches, and also has a few tips and trips along the way. I like that it includes a tip on splitting the thread because it’s not something I’ve seen in some of the patterns I’ve used from other creators, though I do split the thread the way I do for other crafts. It’s an excellent tip for people who are just getting started that aren’t coming over from other crafts that use some of the same materials.

I’m excited to say that the patterns are just as cute as they appear on the cover. Inside, all readers will find patterns for animals, dolls, things that go with the animals and dolls such as a Mushroom house and a dog bed, and a few cute and whimsical designs such as mushrooms and a tree stump house. All of the patterns are easy to follow and include great pictures alongside the instructions as well as tips and tricks. I think this is a great book that’s good to have on hand for anyone getting into felt sewing.

The book is about making super tiny creatures and houses for them out of felt. There is a list of materials and techniques at the beginning of the book, and all the patterns are printed at the end of the book for you to copy and cut out - they are full size and you do not need to enlarge, unless you want to.
The creatures are adorable. The author gives a bunch of different ideas on how to make eyes (either tiny safety eyes, or beads or simply embroider them) You will need is felt and thread or embroidery floss to match or to decorate. The author forgot to mention in the list of supplies that she also uses pipe cleaners to stuff the limbs of the dolls so you could pose them.
Everything is explained well with step by step clear photos and descriptions. The projects are easy. Along with animals and dolls, there are dollhouses and a dog house. They are so cute.

I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley

The projects in this are absolutely ADORABLE and they're simple enough to give this book to an older child or teen and let them make their own entire village of felt creatures. The instructions at the beginning are clear and easy to follow and the patterns nice, but simple. Moreover, since everything is so small you won't have to have much felt or embroidery floss to finish a creature. Recommended, especially as a gift to a talented kid.

I enjoy crafting, I love miniatures, and I’m a hand sewer. Perfect combination for this wonderful book! The author gives a nice description of materials, particularly helpful because she explained the unique uses of the tools that are recommended. I already have many of the materials in my stash, as I would imagine other crafters do as well. The patterns are user-friendly, and the instructions are very clear. I can’t wait to start stitching these adorable little things! Recommend for home, school, and public libraries.
