Well written story. Enjoyed it. It is easily read by children the story line is classic story telling of character development, conflict and solution. Inspirational and pretty sure this will be a core bed time story for parents. Hopefully kids will love it. I think this one is not the last one from this author.

Davey is a chapter book. When the story started the dialogue was human-like. The author has given the reader dolphins who seamlessly talk, have manners, parents, and chores. Their existence mimics human beings. Davey, the dolphin, has a dream. His friends have mixed feelings and his parents would not support him. That is a summary of this cute story. It's heartwarming and sad. There are adult problems that are touched on in an age appropriate manner.

My one problem was the ending, the last paragraph. The story just ended. I looked for another page, and there wasn't one.

The chapters are short enough for a child to read one a day. All-in-all, this is a lovely story.
