Oh, darling readers, hold on to your laurel wreaths because Radiant Sin just took me on a mythological rollercoaster hotter than Hades! 🔥 This modern twist on Apollo and Cassandra is a steamy concoction of danger, desire, and a love so intense it could melt Mount Olympus. But why the four stars? Let me tell you.

The synopsis introduces us to the dazzling danger of Olympus, and there's no one more captivating than the golden god himself, Apollo. Cassandra, a disgraced beauty with a spine of steel, is reluctantly pulled into Apollo's web of intrigue. Undercover as his plus-one at a week-long party, she demands freedom for herself and her sister once the dust settles.

Now, let's talk characters. Apollo is maddeningly gorgeous, kind, and oozing charisma. Cassandra, our fallen heroine, is the perfect match with sass and strength. The chemistry between them? Incendiary. Their fake relationship takes a wicked turn for the scaldingly hot, and I felt the sizzle through my earphones.

The plot and events unfold with the intensity of a lightning storm on Olympus. The danger is real, the stakes are high, and you'll be gripping your headphones as if they're a lifeline. The narrative keeps you on your toes, but here's where the four stars come in.

While the heat between Apollo and Cassandra is off the charts, there were moments where I wished for a bit more depth. The storyline, though gripping, occasionally teetered on the edge of predictable. I wanted a dash more unpredictability, a sprinkle more complexity to push it into the realm of a solid 5-star masterpiece.

The steaminess, though, is a whole other mythic level. I reached for a thermometer more times than I could count because, sweet Aphrodite, the heat was volcanic. Katee Robert knows how to make your heart race and your senses ignite.

In summary, Radiant Sin is a blazing romance that's sure to leave you breathless. The chemistry, danger, and steam factor make it a solid 4-star read, and while it's scorching, a touch more complexity could have pushed it into the divine realm of 5 stars.

This isn't my favourite of the series but it was really good. The steam in these books is high and well done. I didn't feel the connection in this one as much, it didn't feel as fleshed out as previous stories.

This is my least favorite book of the series so far. Cassandra and Apollo did not have a connection or chemistry. It felt like the book was rushed to get published because of the series popularity.

The macro plot is getting more extensive with this book and I'm here for it!

I really did love Apollo and Cassandra. As an eldest sister, I really related to Cassandra, and wanting to care for and protect her little sister. I also loved that Apollo is a secret cinnamon roll and the demi rep in this is fantastic!

My only real complaint with this book is that the ending was so abrupt. It's definitely setting things up for the next book, and I can respect that, but there was SO MUCH that happened in the last bit of the book, I think it could've easily been 50-75 pages longer and it wouldn't have felt like we were at breakneck speed.

Radiant Sin by Katee Roberts is simply Dark Olympus at its FINEST!!! Book 4 in the Dark Olympus series. And it did not disappoint!! I’m such a FAN of Katee Roberts that I’m entirely sure why I haven’t blown thru their entire backlist of books yet. Every Katee Roberts book I pick up quickly becomes my NEW favorite book by them. The narration of Zara and Alex is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! I was truly captivated throughout this entire listen.

If you love a who-done it style murder mystery mixed in with SPICY scenes throughout this book is for you. Not sure if that’s your jam … give it a try. BEST in this series so far!! The audiobook is stunningly done!!

A HUGE thank you to Dreamscape Media for this ALC in exchange for a honest review.

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 4th book Katee Roberts Olympus series. It can be read as a standalone but there are some references to past book couples that will make more sense if prior books have been read.

This is a work place Romance, BBW, forced proximity, fake dating style book. There is intrigue, mystery and danger in addition to the open door steam. The characters are well fleshed out. LGBTQ+ friendly. My only negative is that the end of the book (the very end) felt abrupt, probably because I wanted it to keep going, also no epilogue.

If you’ve enjoyed the other books in the series this does not disappoint. If you enjoy fantasy/sci fi romance this is worth checking out.

Dual POV with a male narrator for the male lead - always appreciated. Excellent audiobook. 5/5

This story is part of a series but can stand on its own just fine. It’s a well-written spicy romance, which enhances the storyline.

Finally Apollo gets his own book and it was so worth the wait! Zara Hampton-Brown, and Alex Moorcock bring these characters to life and make you feel the suspense, tension, and the spice as if you are watching a movie. Katee Robert is still the queen of smut and she will retain her throne for as long as she is writing. Highly recommend Radiant Sin and will recommend this for our collection.

**ARC REVIEW**

I loved this book! I listened to it on audiobook and it was so good! I am super picky about audiobook narrators and loved this one. Cassandra and Apollo are my favorite couple from this series so far! Fake dating always gets me and this one surely did.

Cassandra works for Apollo and must pretend to be his girlfriend for a week at a lavish week-long party. Cassandra has plans to leave Olympus after this job is done, so she is very guarded when it comes to her budding feelings for her boss. While they are dealing with their attraction; they are also tasked with discovering the true reason they have all be gathered for this party. Very much giving murder mystery vibes. Such a fun read! My favorite of the entire series, next to neon gods.

I already knew the author for one of her other books, that i began not so long ago. This is a style of writing that I like and that is pleasant for a romance. I really liked one of the first thought that Apollon said about our girl (if you know you know) The only problem for me, was the accent that the comedians had. (but It is a me problem because english is not my mothertongue and I don't live in a country where English is the first language) But good story !

I really liked this. As always the audiobook narrators really make this series, and it's my opinion that the best way to read this series is with the audiobooks. This one wasn't my favorite of the series, but I still really enjoyed it. These books are so filled with drama that each of the series is just endlessly entertaining. I'm really excited for the rest of this series and can't wait to listen to them.

Okay, so...one, I know I am late on reviewing. Apologies!

But two, I enjoyed this as an addition to the series, but as a standalone book...it just didn't do what the other books did for me. I felt the plot and pace was lagging a bit - and I was just wishing for a bit more. Maybe I was just expecting a bit more smut - and this was the weakest in terms of the overall series.

However, I will still read anything Katee Roberts writes around antiquated gods.

The Katee Robert books are getting really repetitive and boring. I wish that the characters had more depth to them other than this inexplicable attraction to one another that is not fleshed out or explored.

Thank you to NetGalley for the copy of this in audiobook!!
Again, I love Katee Roberts books. I really enjoyed the changing of POV in this book, especially in audiobook form! I have read her others up to this point and have loved them.
I really enjoyed the conflict in this book. Fake relationship trope is one of my favorites!!

The dual narration was excellent, portraying the push and pull and sparks between the characters. Cassandra works for Apollo and has what she feels is an unrequited passion for her boss. When they are forced to pretend to date and attend a week long party, the dynamic between the pair changes. The story is a standalone, but is part of the Dark Olympus series. It is the 4th book and would be better read in order to understand the power dynamics of the backstory. I thoroughly enjoyed the narration and the story. Definitely recommend!

This book continues the Olympus series and does not disappoint! Katee Robert continues to create dynamic characters with compelling backstories.

I have read each installment in this series and they are all enjoyable reads. I love that the romance between Apollo and Cassandra is more of a reverent romance, as it certainly provides a change of pace from the others. What I didn't like was the super quick wrap-up of the story. I honestly thought I missed a section and had to go back to check I hasn't skipped a chunk. I think the narration was great and have no complaints about the quality of the narration.

This book has excellent writing. I havnt read the other books in the series but I definitely will now. Great romance and she also didn't skimp on the plot.

I've thoroughly enjoyed each Dark Olympus book more than the last, so I had high expectations for Radiant Sin. We didn't know much about the mysterious Apollo before this and had only heard in passing about Cassandra in the gossipy circle of Olympus. Katee did a great job here making this book much more interesting with the added context of a 'murder mystery'-esque sub plot for the reader to follow.

As with all her Dark Olympus books, there's plenty of political power plays and members of the Thirteen overplaying their hand. There's no small share of that here. I could believe the simmering romance between Apollo and Cassandra, but I didn't love how quickly she had to tie everything up in the end. I almost wanted like 2 more chapters!

What I was most surprised with was how it basically ended on a bit of a cliffhanger which you know is going to pick back up in Cruel Seduction. She's normally not left the readers wanting more, but with 10 books in this series she's really preparing everyone for the tangled web she plans to weave. Also I was surprised to start NOT LIKING Hermes! I'm sure she's got some ulterior motive, but at face value she's a bit of a sellout.

Alex Moordock and Zara Hampton-Brown always do an amazing job with this series and I can always could on them to provide a full immersive audiobook experience. I particularly enjoy how the continue specific quirks that they've brought to previous characters (Psyche, Hades, etc) as the work through this series!

I loved this tale of Apollo and Cassandra, quietly and respectfully lusting after one another for years, each afraid to make the first move. The story did have a very abrupt ending. (I actually had to check to make sure I didn't accidentally receive an abbreviated file.)

I'm a sucker for a mythological retelling, so I have enjoyed all of Katee Roberts tales in this series, although this one wasn't my favorite. My favorite is Neon Gods featuring Hades and Persephone.

I loved dual POV audio narration of two narrators.
