We all know that Katee Robert is the undisputed QUEEN of spice. However I think itโ€™s high time we start recognizing her for also being a masterful storyteller and this book is the mic drop confirmation that she can write it ALL and enthrall us with every single word, smutty or not.

Cassandra has worked for Apollo for years, keeping her head down after her parentsโ€™ ill fated attempt at murdering their way into the Thirteen, and has one single focus: find a way to get herself and her sister out of Olympus once and for all. So when Zeus approaches her with a monetary offer that she cannot refuse she accompanies Apollo undercover to a week long party with the newest residents of Olympus in hopes that Apollo can uncover their true motives. However putting her reservations about the Thirteen (and her quiet crush on her boss) aside may not be as easy as Cassandra hoped, and it soon becomes apparent that their fake dating ruse is not the only game being played. As the heat ramps up between them, so does the violence around the house as members of the party start dropping one by one begging the question who is truly pulling the strings in Olympus, and is anyone truly safe?

Iโ€™m not kidding when I say I was blown away by this book. I continue to be thoroughly impressed by the world building in this iteration of Olympus and while it gets a little tricky after all this time remembering the original names of characters vs the name they have assumed as one of the Thirteen (looking at you, Aphrodite), I have to say this book has done the best so far at working characters from the previous books back into the central story.

Cassandra was a fantastic, well layered character and I loved her strength and her ability to hold her own even when her general presence brought nothing but scorn. Apollo was absolutely everything!! Smart, cunning, and devastatingly sexy he had the suaveness of 007 with a heart of solid gold. In the bedroom, closet, and well pretty much anywhere else they found themselves they made a scorching pair and I will have to say of the Dark Olympus books so far this one may be the hottest yet!!

I received the audiobook for advance review (thank you to both NetGalley and Dreamscape Media) and I have to say both narrators were fantastic! They brought every emotion to the table from the spicy scenes to the general dialogue, and as the suspense grew so did their portrayal of the characterโ€™ frustration and it evoked the same sense of nervousness that youโ€™d have reading an actual suspense novel. Through every chapter I felt like I was right there inside both Cassandra and Apolloโ€™s heads and it was so easy to lose myself listening to these storytellers. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys them and even to those who donโ€™t naturally gravitate toward them. It was wonderful!

As long as you remember that the term โ€œretellingโ€ is used loosely and thematically, I think youโ€™ll find that this book has it ALL. Hands down my favorite installment in this series yet and I am anxious to see what comes next for this world!!

Thank you to NetGalley and SourceBooks Casablanca and DreamScape for an audiobook arc of this novel; all opinions are my own.

Apollo and Cassandra were such a wonderful couple and the plot progression in this world was great. Also, spicy AF obviously itโ€™s Katee Robert.

Quick Synopsis: Cassandra has worked for Apollo, the spy master and knowledge tracker for the 13 in Olympus for around 5 years; sheโ€™s also had a crush on her bos for โ€ฆ 5 years. Now, Apollo needs her help and theyโ€™ll have to go on a secret mission to uncover a dastardly plot, but to do so, Cassandra will have to pretend to be in a relationship with Apollo and as his fake girlfriend, things heat up between the two very quickly.

Trigger warnings: violence, assassination, murder,

What I liked:
-Apollo is an absolute golden retriever and while the man isnโ€™t dumb by any means, heโ€™s also very aware of his strengths and his weaknesses and recognizes where Cassandraโ€™s strengths bolster his weaknesses.
-We donโ€™t get any toxic masculinity from Apollo and itโ€™s really refreshing
-I always appreciate Robertโ€™s focus on consent. Apollo is constantly asking for Cassandraโ€™s consent on everything to the point that Cassandra begins to anticipate the ask and readily agree before he can even voice a concern.
-We get to revisit some of our favorite characters from past books and also speculate on how future charactersโ€™ novels will play out. For example, I am chomping at the bit for Hermesโ€™s book. I need it.

What I struggled with:
-I wasnโ€™t a huge fan of Apollo in the beginning of the novel. While he did eventually grow on me, his overly golden retriever ways were sometimes more annoying than endearing in the first quarter of the novel.
-Cassandra doesnโ€™t communicate with her sister. She does everything she does in this novel explicitly for her sister, but never asks if thatโ€™s what her sister wants? The entirety of this novel is centered around Cassandra doing everything to get her sister out of Olympus, but yet never actually checking in with said sister. In the end, this is the tipping point for our heroine, and drives the final plot point with our characters, but it fell flat for me in that it didnโ€™t just did not seem believable.

This is spicy and hot and enjoyable and yes I will be buying a physical copy.

Truly Robertโ€™s best work yet. Sexy as always, with lovable characters, and makes you want to live in this fantasy world where everyone gets a designated dark, brooding, kinky, and consent-conscious lover to worship them. The spice is what weโ€™re all here for, but that being said, as this series progresses the politics of Olympus become clearer and more defined which gave this installment a little more intrigue. Well done!

This series is one of my favorites! I love how the story continues and is connected through all the books but just with a new relationship as the focus!

The narrators as always did a fantastic job bringing the story to life and didnโ€™t want it to end!

I canโ€™t wait for the next book to see what happens next!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for a copy of this audiobook. This is my honest voluntary review.

I was really excited to listen to Radiant Sin. I had read the first 5 chapters on netgalley at the end of last year and loved it! I always love reading Kateeโ€™s books because I know exactly what I am going to get- and this book is no exception. It was an enjoyable, spicy, fun and entertaining listen.

This was a fake dating enemies to lovers style romance- but the tropes move FAST through the stages. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it took longer for the characters to fall for each other.

I loved the added mystery aspect- it felt like a game of clue. For me this was the best part of the story- I wish we got more of it!

I do think some of the stories in the series are slightly repetitive, but I will continue to read all of them.

I would recommend this book to friends, and I loved the narrators. They did a great job.

I was a little nervous going into this book since I didn't enjoy Wicked Beauty as much as the two books before it, but I ended up enjoying this one!

I really liked Cassandra and Apollo together. Their chemistry was evident and it was cute that they'd both been secretly crushing on each other during all these years of working together.

I liked that this book had a murder mystery vibe to it. It was interesting trying to figure out what was going on and who was behind everything. It was hard to know who you can trust. I'm interested in finding out who the bigger threat is that's looming over everyone and getting some answers about what is going on with the barrier.

*I was provided an audio version of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I loved both of the narrators, Zara Hampton-Brown and Alex Moorcock. They both did a great job of bringing the characters to life and giving each character a unique voice.

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for an early copy to review.

I honestly enjoyed the layout of this book so much! It was like murder mystery and gave total Clue vibes.

There was a BDSM vibe to the story too. I think this became my favorite Dark Olympus book!

The minotaur is trying to weasel his way into Olympus after losing the competition for Ares. He throws a party and invites the 13. Apollo and Cassandra go to try to find out what the Minotaur is up to for Zeus and it becomes far more complicated than anyone initially thought.

Katee Roberts does it again. Her work is always hot and fun i love this series and am so excited for the next book to come out

I want to start off with saying that I have really enjoyed this entire series so far, I even liked this book. It just wasn't it for me.

Apollo and Cassandra have a working relationship and while they both are hiding feelings for the other because he is a part of the 13 and her family name is not good. They enter a fake relationship to spy during a very strange Clue like dinner party.

It was a good story but again I just wasn't as wowed. I do definitely look forward to more from this series!

I went into this book having not read any of the other Dark Olympus series. Oh man - now Iโ€™ve just gone and ordered the other three.

Radiant Sin is a modern spicy retelling of Apollo and Cassandra, and is just what youโ€™d hope it would be. Sexy, sweet, suspensefulโ€ฆ Katee Robert does a great job blending mythology with modern life in a way that still makes these โ€œ13โ€ feel God-Like while still relatable (something where spicy retellings sometimes miss the mark)

If you read this book and donโ€™t fall for Apollo Iโ€™d be shocked.

Dark Olympus Book 4 is another spicy modern Greek retelling. This time we get Apollo and Cassandra's story.

Cassandra has experienced what the Thirteen can do. Her goal is to work hard as Apollos' executive assistant and get herself and her sister out of Olympus. When Apollo needs a date for a week-long party, he makes a deal with Cassandra. If she pretends to be his girlfriend and helps him gather information, he will make it so she can leave Olympus.

As expected, Cassandra and Apollo's fake relationship develops into real feelings. As one of the Thirteen, he's the last person Cassandra wants to fall for but he's hard to resist.

Cassandra brings a viewpoint on Olympus and the politics of the Thirteen from an outside perspective. There is more focus on the political side of Olympus compared to the previous books.

I enjoyed Cassandra and Apollo together. Their HEA felt rushed, though. I would have liked another chapter or epilogue.

Expect spice, some fun banter, a little mystery, adventure, and forced proximity.

This could be read as a standalone. Characters and events from the previous books are mentioned.

The dual narration made the audiobook version fast-paced and easy to listen to. The accents were smooth and matched the voices for bot Cassandra and Apollo.

This might be my favourite Dark Olympus book to date. It focuses on Apollo and Cassandra and I think it's more of a soft book than the others in the series have been thus far. I mean, Apollo is a fucking marshmallow and I love that. Also, one of KR's tags for this one is 'fake dating for spy reasons' and yes, yes it is. Fake dating is one of my favourite tropes and the fact that they are fake dating because they are spying on someone, is just perfect.

I also really like that Cassandra is bigger and Apollo loves that. And it didn't feel like fetishization or anything, he just really liked her body and her curves, but also her mind and he obviously really respects her. Their relationship is just so good. I love it.

Also, ALSO, this book introduces all of the remaining characters for the rest of the series. Well, except that we don't know who else is in Hermes's book, but otherwise everyone is in this book. And I have SO MANY QUESTIONS!!! Just based on what happened in this book and who everyone is (and who they are related to), I cannot wait for the rest of the series.

I think this is my favorite of the series so far?! Apollo has always been one of my favorites in the series so I was very excited for his book and was honestly just hoping it would be better than Wicked Beauty, as it was not my fav.

From the beginning, I knew I was going to like this one and I think a part of that is due to Cassandra. She is feisty and strong willed and isn't afraid to show it.

The plot continues from the last book, but this had like a fun murder mystery element that made this very fun. Also, the chemistry between Apollo and Cassandra was everything - obvs the spice was great, but honestly, they were just like really sweet together?? Apollo was a bit swoony haha

Some of Katee Robert's books lack plot, or the plot seems very uninspired. But this book's plot was actually really interesting! It was focused more on plot than it was spice, and I really enjoyed it. Eros and Psyche are my favorite Greek myth, so their book is my favorite, but this one comes close.

Another home run by Katee Robert! Without fail she always provides a fast paced, exciting and spicy adventure in each book. The political scheming, the diverse characters and just the sheer sexiness of it all is always a winner. This world is so creative and unique for a non-fantasy series. Apollo and Cassandra are truly a lovely couple. I am so lucky to have gotten an advance listener copy, its like winning the lottery! Thank you Dreamscape!

If you haven't started this series, what are you waiting for? It's amazing!

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape for providing an audiobook version of the radiant sin.

This has to be hands down my favorite series from Katee roberts. Apollo & Cassandra were such a delight! I love their dynamic together and I love that he felt for her first! AH! *screaming*

I was so intrigued with the plot and politics of it all! It was so mysterious and exciting on top of all the spice ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ I have to say this is my favorite from the series.

You get your plus size rep and grumpy MC and I loved every moment of it! Cassandra has gone through a lot in her lifetime and she continues to being put to the test! I love how strong and determine and protective she is of her sister ( which she is the one that raised her after her parents passed away in an โ€œaccidentโ€ . She is your typical -I donโ€™t take your crap no matter who you are- type of gal and I LOVED every moment of it.

I wish Apolloโ€™s personality was a bit more..? I just felt him a bit boring at times.. I needed more of him..but overall I really enjoyed this one!

Radiant Sin by Katee Robert was a dark, suspenseful, and steamy romance that had me hooked from start to finish! Cassandra and Apollo's journey to HEA was full of gripping twists and spicy turns that had me on the edge of my seat wishing and willing for them to solve the mystery and find their true happiness together!

Zara Hampton-Brown and Alex Moorcock narrate this audiobook, and with each new book in the Dark Olympus series, these two just get better and better! Zara fully embodied passionate, determined Cassandra in her performance, and it was powerful! Plus, Alex was quite charming as a dedicated, loyal loving Apollo! Both narrators brought the heat with Cassandra and Apollo's steamy hot chemistry!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of dark fake relationship romance with a hot hunky god, a sassy adamant heroine, suspense, mystery, seductive first kisses, all the sexual tension, getaways with friends, a plot-twisting climax, and a HEA that will leave you radiant and happy sighing, then you will love Cassandra and Apollo's story. I always look forward to more from Katee Roberts.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media for the ARC ๐ŸŒˆ

Iโ€™ve followed this series since Neon Gods was released and Iโ€™ve loved each book more than the last. As additional characters get written about and introduced the world gets more complex. I love seeing previous characters come back and itโ€™s fun to wonder who the next book will highlight.

Radiant Sin had everything you need if youโ€™re a fantasy romance reader: adventure and spice! The plot flowed seamlessly from the previous books and, even though I did not reread the series before diving into this one, I was not lost. Katee is fantastic about rehashing background details when they are needed without it feeling like an info dump. I read a good bit and sometimes itโ€™s hard to pick a series back up after being out of the world. I never find that to be the case with anything Katee writes.

The characters in this beautiful addition to the series were Cassondra and Apollo. Both characters were fully fleshed out and dynamic- their motivations were clear and aligned with their actions. Some fan-favorite tropes made their way into this book with my favorites being fake dating and one bed. I loved the setting and how it was wrapped in mystery and intrigue. Side characters from the previous book (Wicked Beauty) became key points of interest and, while some are unsavory, Iโ€™m interested to see how itโ€™s going to continue to progress.

Iโ€™ve read all of the previous books on my kindle so the audiobook was a different experience for me. Iโ€™m usually not a fan because they donโ€™t hold my attention. However, the voice actors chosen for Cassondra and Apollo did an excellent job and, while I did have to keep the pace at 1.5x, it was easy to follow and immersive. It made the book seem like a light read because time flew by.

All in all, I always love Katee Robert. She is a great author and, if you follow her social media or newsletters, itโ€™s glaringly obvious that she puts her whole soul into her books. She is a wonderful author as well as just a wonderful person. I am always thankful for her representation and inclusivity of full sized women.

Thank you Dreamscape Media for providing with an audiobook ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the fourth installment of the Dark Olympus series. It's considerably less spicy than the other books but don't let that deter you from enjoying it. Katee Robert spends a good amount of time setting up the politics of the world for the forthcoming books. I have a good feeling the next books are going to be INSANE!

The romance between Apollo and Cassandra was very soft and tender. Cassandra is prickly and Apollo is the definition of "boy obsessed". I LOVED THEM! And the spice we did get!? WHEW! I really loved this one and as always, I am eagerly waiting for CRUEL SEDUCTION to come out in August.

Radiant Sin is the fourth installment of the Dark Olympus Series written by Katee Robert. The audiobook is narrated by Zara Hampton-Brown and Alex Moorcock. I was given an advanced copy of the audiobook from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for review purposes but all my thoughts are my own.

The Dark Olympus series is one of my favorite erotica series. I like my smut with a side of intriguing plot and the Dark Olympus series does it for me. (I have also read the Wicked Villains Series by same author and itโ€™s also super good for smut and storyline balance)

Radiant Sin has us following Apollo and his assistant Cassandraโ€™s fake dating trope. Cassandra has been Apolloโ€™s assistant for 5 years and both seem to have been harboring a thing for each other during this time. But Cassandraโ€™s past keeps her from acting on these feelings and Apollo is a genuinely good guy who wonโ€™t force things. So how do these two end up together? A mission from Zeus of course that requires a fake dating scheme to glean some important information from the cityโ€™s latest citizen, Minos and his family.

This was delightfully steamy and full of intrigue and suspense as a plot to deceive Olympus unfolds. I like Apollo and Cassandra together, I felt the connection. However, Cassandra blushes maybe a bit too much and sometimes the over mentioning of it would pull me out of the moment a little.

One thing I do appreciate in Katee Robertโ€™s book is the consent and feelings of protection and respect the partners have for one another. She also writes banter really well and Zara and Alex do an amazing job with delivery. These two narrators have so far narrated the entire series and they are a very splendid duo together.

I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series! The next installment titled โ€œCruel Seductionโ€ comes out later this year so donโ€™t worry, if you read โ€œRadiant Sinโ€ when it launches in February, you wonโ€™t have to wait too long to see what happens next!
