Pumpkin Day at the Zoo is adorable and features so many zoo animals! The illustrations are vibrant and dynamic, and the rhyming verses are catchy with the perfect amount of words on each page for me to memorize quickly (one of my favourite things about the books I read to my toddler). I especially liked how certain words are in a larger font, and different colours, catering to slightly older preschoolers that are learning to read.

As a former animal keeper, I'm quite familiar with the wonders of Pumpkin Day(s). This book does a great job of showing how great these gourds can be for just about every animal at the zoo.

This is a fun picture book for kids. Full of rhyming words in lots of colors to keep attention.

Full of lots of animals at a Zoo & you see pumpkins being passed out to all the different animals for them to enjoy.

At the end of the book, we are told that many zoos accept donations of pumpkins for the animals to devour, encouraging people to get involved & don't throw them away, but donate them instead.

Such a cute book! The wording, font choices and illustrations make it super easy for kids to be entertained by this book! Love it through a speech-pathology standpoint as well! Very well-written and can’t wait to read this book again in the fall with my young kids!

Our thoughts~ such a unique SUPER funny and full of cute rhymes that chimed, the wording flowed and the illustrations matched perfectly such a colorful book in every way. We adored this book so much an can see ourselves re reading it many times over.

Pumpkin Day at the Zoo is a novel that begs to be read out loud. It is told in rhyme following the zoo animals as they enjoy pumpkin treats during the fall season. The illustrations are gorgeous with bright vibrant colors and engaging zoo animals. Each page has layers of detail that will draw the reader's attention to the secrets hidden in the pictures. This would be a good addition to a rhyming collection or a fall picture book collection.

I have a 6 year old daughter, and when I was reading this book to her we couldn't stop smiling and laughing! I have read many children books since she was born and this is definitely one of the most memorable ones. The illustrations were so vivid and full of movement and life and told a story without having words on a page! We read it through twice in our first sitting, and I'm sure it'll become a favorite in our household. The chipmunks were our absolute favorite. If you know, you know 😄 Great Job!

This is such a cute book. It shows kids how important recycling and reusing things are and it does it in such a fun way. This book is perfect to read in the fall. The illustrations are adorable. Anyone who likes animals will love this book.

Pumpkin Day at the Zoo gets 5 stars from my family! I think I enjoyed it just as much as my 3 and 5 year olds. We follow along as different zoo animals get their tasty pumpkin treats. We loved the colorful illustrations and rhyming sentences.

I will definitely be adding this one to my list of books to buy after it's published. This would be a great book for young readers and to be in the classroom.

This book was adorable and a perfect fall books for kids. The rhymes were nice and the pictures were so cute. It showcases multiple animals, zoo enrichment, and a great message about repurposing pumpkins. I would definitely buy this book for my children or as a gift.

Pumpkin Day at the Zoo is a delightful children's picture book with stunning illustrations. Each page has a few carefully crafted sentences containing creative rhymes and the pictures fit the words so well. Pablo Pino created zoo animal pictures on each page with character, movement, personalities, and fun. As I read the book, the smile on my face grew because I enjoyed the animals having such a marvelous Pumpkin Day at the Zoo. Little ones will love to have this read to them until they can recite the text from memory. The last page encouraged parents and educators to recycle/repurpose their autumn pumpkins.

Pumpkin Day at Zoo is a children's book about zoo animals enjoying donated pumpkins in the fall. The story is cute with great rhymes and highlights many different animals that could be found at a zoo. The illustrations really add to the story. They are silly and fun and hold a child's interest. I read this with my 4 year old and she loved it. I also appreciated the note at the end for parents a s educators.

A delightful little read. The prose and illustrations make this book fun for adults and kids. I loved all the different animals that were included. The general tone and illustrations made this a happy and fun book. This would be a great way to get kids involved with their local zoo or to learn more about why everyone (animals AND people) benefit from eating pumpkins.

Pumpkin Day at the Zoo is a bright and fun book! The colorful illustrations emphasize all of the animals celebrating pumpkin day. I loved that the book educated on donating your leftover pumpkins. I can’t wait to add this to my kids library and have a family activity of recycling our pumpkins!
