I read this to my little girl she really liked the part about the cats and tea. She loved the beautiful pictures. She said she’s sure other little girls and boys would enjoy this book as well.

This was such a cute rhyming book. My small kids enjoyed it. The illustrations were very cute. Overall not much of a storyline, but still fun enough to keep kids entertained.

This is such a charming book with its adorable illustrations and rhyme. Young children will meet many animals on these pages and will enjoy getting to know them and their likes. A great way to learn about critters. Truly a b00k that toddlers will enjoy.

Many thanks to NorthSouth Books and NetGalley for this book. All opinions are my own.

Who can't not love a fun rhyming book? What Cat Likes Best is a children's rhyming book that is just super for preschoolers. Adults and children alike will have fun reading the entertaining rhymes aloud. I certainly did. Add in your own fun narraration and you've got a winner.

And what can't be better than having cute and adorable illustrations to match the fun rhymes? Five stars.

I received a digital ARC from North South Books through NetGalley. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

Thank you NetGalley and NorthSouth Books Inc., NorthSouth Books for accepting my request to read and review What Cat Likes Best: Rhymes for children.

This rhyming book has one animal and a tidbit on each page. The animals are all well-known and not complicated. The story moved well, and spoken softly I would use as a bedtime story.

The illustrations are amazing. They are simple and plain. I would cut the illustrations out and frame them.

This is absolutely giftable. I would encourage babysitters to keep in their bags.

I loved everything about this book.

What Cat Likes Best by Erwin Moser is a cute, rhyming book that would be suitable for babies and toddlers. My daughter is 8 and while we enjoyed it, were a little disappointed by the fact that is not just about cats. The cover is pretty misleading. It features many different animals and shares facts and other information on what the animals like best.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reading copy.

Lovely rhyming book, easy to read with enjoyable pictures that are visual enough for children to enjoy. Thank you netgalley for the advanced copy my 6 year old enjoyed it.

What a fun read! I love all of the different animals that were included and all of the beautiful illustrations. As a kindergarten teacher, I love rhyming stories with somewhat predictable text. This is a book I would absolutely read to my class!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. An excellent rhyming book about what other animals do. Once sentence rhymes with lovely illustrations.

This cover was too cute to pass up, but the front cover is confusing. This book isn't about cats.

I think this will be a fast favorite for young kiddos. They'll like the rhyming and adorable animal illustrations. I like the charming art style, expressiveness, and humorous illustrations. The muted color palette makes it a good bedtime book. Though it's a great introduction to wild animals.

Overall, What Cat Likes Best is a fun, fast read with mostly simple text. Though some animal names are challenging. Thank you, NetGalley and NorthSouth Books, for an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The cat on the front cover was just too adorable to pass up!!

I love the cute rhyming stories and think that this would be great for any young reader. The illustrations of all the animals will definitely keep them engaged.

This is a very simple book for young children. It’s cute, but when looking at the cover a little misleading. There is very little information about cats. My son loves cats so that’s what we were hoping for.

This book was alright. If you are looking for a good picture book then pick this one up. The pictures are great but there's nothing real exciting about the rhymes

It would be a cute board book for 0-3. The rhymes generally introduce a simple idea or two about each animal. It’s pretty random though. The biggest disappointment for me was the cat rhyme because while most of the others gave accurate information about the animal, this one did not. Also I was expecting more cat parts based on the title. And cockroaches? There’s no making them cute. That page made my skin crawl.

A big thank you to NetGalley and NorthSouth Books for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a cute children's book. I believe that this is a translation from german. I was impressed that it does still rhyme. I found that it lacks continuity-the pictures are cute but no story. Nice graphics 3 stars

This is a cute little rhyming book that is great for younger readers as it is easy to read with rhymes about a bunch of different animals

My kiddos loved this book. We love books with rhymes and fun pictures. The illustrations were adorable. It also doesn’t hurt that there is a cat on the cover because my 2 year old is obsessed with cats. I would love this as a board book!

What Cat Likes Best is a children’s illustrated book in the form of rhymes for children. The cover is cute and promising, however the content was rather disappointing. I would say it’s aimed at very young children, because there is absolutely no story at all to entertain children aged 4+. Each page consists of one photo of an animal with one line (random description), and each line rhymes with the next one. The illustrations are nice, but it really lacks substance.

This was a joy to read, it is so beautifully illustrated, the rhymes so much fun, it makes it so engaging and interactive at bedtime, I will be buying a physical copy to add to their bookshelf , as my girls loved it that much
Fantastic

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy in return for an honest opinion

I was expecting a story here but each page is a picture with a line of text and they are mostly unrelated. We went through the pages with my daughter and said: and then what? Maybe she is too old for this already (4.5yo)

Thank you NetGalley and NorthSouth Books for an ARC.
