As quite often happens with graphic novels, the gorgeous artwork in Knee Deep bolstered my enjoyment of it generally. There's brilliant worldbuilding here - both Perch and the sewers were really interesting locations. I'm assuming we will get to see more of the wider worlds both above and below ground in further instalments, and I'm keen to see that. I do have a few niggles - the characters could have been expanded upon further, and lacked depth, and the dialogue was often a little clunky. That said, Knee Deep was an enjoyable read, and I can see further instalments only improving upon it.
