Hattie, in need of an escape, goes to France to take on a job as a wedding planner - a role she has only done before as an assistant. She is leaving behind a broken relationship and isn't looking for love, but then she meets Luc - the son of the chateau's owner where the wedding is due to take place. It is a really fun, romantic, summer read and I would highly recommend it.

I've had this book on pre order for quiet some time, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. This whole series has been one I've been wanting to read and it's been sat in my to he read pile for so long however French Chateau Dream is everything I hoped it would be and more.

When Hattie is offered a job of a lifetime organising her cousins wedding, she can't get over to France and the stunning Chateau they've rented for the occasion. Enter Luc, the gorgeous owners son who is at the Chateau for reasons of his own. As sparks begin to fly between them there is only a few things or a certain someone who is determined the wedding isn't happening at the Chateau.

As with all great romantic books this has everything you want: handsome hero, stunning Chateau and a dream of making champagne with two people slowly falling in love but can Hattie finally see that she needs to stop feeling like she needs to be there for her lover ex Chris?

I can't wait to go back and read the rest of the books especially as there is a cameo of one character from an earlier book in the series. I want, need, a sequel to this as I've got one question: does Luc get to fulfil his dream?

The French Chateau Dream is a frothy, light tale of adventure and finding new love in the setting of a beautiful French chateau. If you enjoy escapism and romance then this is the book for you,

Thank you very much for the Aporoval. I will be sharing a full review soon, but I’m very excited to join Hattie on an adventure to the gorgeous French countryside. I’m definitely in the mood for a good escapist novel as I’m sure our readers are as well in this transitional period from spring to summer. Not all of us can travel for a variety of different reasons so it’s so nice to have this I do to delve into.I’m also excited to read about her Roman e with the dashing Luc as well!

This is such a warm and relaxing read with great characters, some of whom will be familiar to those who’ve read others in the series, although this is very much a standalone book in its own right. The setting of the chateau and vineyard are lovely and it’s interesting to see how Hattie sets in motion the desire to bring life back to the chateau. There’s a few problems along the way, most often amusingly caused by Yvette but overall this is such a happy, positive and uplifting read.
