Kate White is a brilliant writer and I auto buy her books and for good reason, they are amazing. This psychological thriller was one of her best yet. I beas biting my nails. Couldn't put it down because I had to know what happened next.

This book was SOOOOO GOOD!! There were so many twist and turns, definitely kept me on my toes! I really fell in love with Skyler. She's a very relatable character!

A well-executed thriller/mystery that kept me guessing right up until the end. I read a lot of books and quite a few of them are thrillers, so it's hard to find something new and refreshing, but this was definitely one of those! Skyler is trying to make sense of why a man who she had a one-night stand with many years ago has left her a multi-million dollar trust. Every road she turns down trying to figure it out, seems to be a dead end and there are lots of delightfully suspicious people involved in this story!!

Skyler is an artist living in NYC, barely making ends meet. She still struggles over the death of her sister 12 years ago. She gets a call from a lawyer and finds out she has inherited a trust from a man she had a one night stand with years ago. Someone doesn’t want her to inherit. Why did he leave her the money. It is a mystery she needs to solve. The book goes back and forth between the past and the present. There is a twist at the end of this book that I isn’t see coming. I really enjoyed this book and finished it very quickly! The storyline kept me guessing and I liked the characters a lot. I hadn’t enjoyed Kate White’s last books as much as usual but this one felt back up to her usual standards.

I've always been a huge fan of Kate's books there hasn't been a single one I've disliked. This is a nice stand alone. Skyler is an artist in NYC, still struggling with the death of her sister 12 years prior. She's totally blind sided when she receives notice that she's inherited money from a long away one-night stand. Why did he leave the money? And who is now stalking Skyler, and what do they want? I do truly feel like this book may have lacked some in areas, but I'd still recommend it.

What would you do with an unexpected inheritance?

I would fund college funds for my niece and nephew and my daughter and then pay off the rest of my bills. I might splurge for some new books and a vacation in there too if there was enough!

Skylar is a struggling artist and is skeptical and surprised when she gets word she has received a large inheritance. Skylar can’t for the life of her remember who the guy is that left her the money. Now facing legal action against his wife, Skylar delves through her past to come up with any idea of who he is. Will she be able to figure it out, or will he have taken his secrets with his to the grave.

This was such a fun and fast paced book. At 304 pages it is the perfect book and I didn’t want to put it down! I enjoyed the glimpse of the past chapters, and I especially enjoyed how it all came together. It bugged me until I figured it out. This book was full of surprised and intrigue and the mystery aspect worked well together.

I haven’t read any of this author before but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much I enjoyed this one. I will be checking more out in the future.

I love reading Kate White books, she is one of my favorite thriller authors. The premise of Between Two Strangers was really interesting and for a good portion of the book I was all over the place with my theories of how Skyler ended up with the inheritance from a man she barely knew. The ending though I found a bit disappointing and rushed. I expected a lot more and I felt like it kind of came out of nowhere. I also feel like there were some things discussed in the book that were forgotten about so they weren’t wrapped up and I wish they were.

This one fell flat for me. I would consider it “your average run of the mill thriller”. I predicted the twist very early on which left the rest of the book lacking.

Skyler Moore is a struggling artist (loved the portions of the book about art) still reeling from the death of her younger sister. Her family has practically disowned her and it is through a series of flashbacks that we learn how the death came about. Just when Skyler things she is about to be evicted she received a call alerting her to an inheritance, a very large inheritance.

Skyler is immediately suspicious. She has no idea who Christopher Whaley, the recently deceased is nor why he left millions to her instead of his wife and children. Worse yet, someone else seems to be unhappy with these turn of events and Skylar suspects her apartment has been broken into and she is being followed. She needs to figure out her connection to Christopher before it is too late! This is by far my favorite of Kate White's books. It has everything that I love in a thriller — a fast pace, loads of suspicious characters and clues, and an unpredictable ending. While I'm generally not a fan of flashbacks, in this case, they worked really well to build suspense and complement the main storyline, without feeling like filler.

Set around a mystery inheritance, Skyler Moore is set to inherit millions of dollars from a person she has only met one time in her life. She is confused as to why she was chosen and is set to figure out her connection to this person as well as how he is connected to her past life involving the death of her sister. The story was intricately woven to leave the reader wanting to know more with every chapter. I thought the story was a little far fetched, but overall execution left me guessing until the end. This book was a bit different for me, it had the usual, it had suspense, intrigue, mystery, murder, and some crazy twists and turns! The part that was a little different to me was that while this wasn't one of my all time favorite books, it did have me glued to my Kindle! I couldn't wait to find out what happened?! To me that's a bit confusing lol anyway it is definitely worth reading! I will recommend reading this book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! I was excited for this because I have previously enjoyed this authors books but this one fell flat for me. It definitely was a page turner but the plot didn't hold together.

Loved this latest by Kate White (always a fan). The protagonist, Sky, is likable and you are rooting for her. Solving the mystery of her recent inheritance as well as the murder of her sister years ago, keep you guessing until the very end. I had my suspicions of several people but ended up very surprised! Highly recommend.

This book was fun and exciting! I definitely would recommend this book to all who wants a thrilling novel! It kept me on my toes and wanting more! I loved the storyline and the dual timelines!
