Any book about book/art thieves is almost always a good read. The planning, the execution, and the investigation are always intriguing. Thieves of Book Row fits right in there.
A rare book dealer in depression-era New York recruits thieves to lift rare books. Many of those come for the NYC Library. This is the story of one particular book, theft, and chase.
It is well-written and moves. Not a bad way to spend a few hours.
