I won’t give a synopsis. I will give a affirmative 🤩 WOW 🤩 !
This is the 5th book in the Tori Hunter series. While it can be a standalone, it is highly recommended to start at the beginning. I was so immersed in Snow Graves, and regretted its ending, I’m inclined to reread all the previous novels in this series!

It’s spellbinding, can’t put it down thrill ride! It’s addicting. Mr. Stelljes’ ability to keep the interest of his readers is stellar. The pacing is fast and furious. The character development is superb - dynamic, multi dimensional. The climax is electrifying- what a jolt of adrenaline! As mentioned, sad to see it end. It did end with a very satisfying denouement. The closure was exceptionally polished. So many writer rush the ending, leaving the resolution up in the air. Not Mr. Stelljes!

As a side note, I first started with Roger Stelljes years and years ago when he published the first in the McRyan Mystery series. I loved that series and was disappointed he put it aside to begin the Tori Hunter series. I can’t say enough ( or get enough) of both series! Kudos, Mr. Stelljes!

My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of The Snow Graves. It is my pleasure to provide an honest and unbiased review!

This is book 5 in the Tori Hunter series by Roger Stelljes and it's called The Snow Graves. It came out on the 10th of March and I received it from Bookouture via Netgalley.

Tori is called to investigate the murder of three teens in a drive by shooting. Somehow, more and more people, criminals, end up shot hitman style. Is she dealing with a rogue mob hitman or is there more? Who is the mysterious woman who keeps calling her with intel?

Again, like book 4, this was a fast paced thriller with action on almost every page. The characters, after 4 previous books, have been worked out well. The story itself is also quite interesting and it's a fun read altogether!

4/5⭐

This was an excellent, gripping, action-packed fuel ride of a crime thriller. I would attempt to summarize the plot but I don't have the energy, there was so much going on! Really enjoyed this novel and now have to go back read the prior novels in the series.

I read quite a few of Mr. Stelljes's books and most of tori Hunter's. The Snow Graves did not disappoint me although I wish it were shorter. There are so many twists in this story, so many wrong moves that ended up with a solid and important family relationship and served to blur the lines between right and wrong. Most times things that happen to us mold us as persons and what we'll be in life and people can be much alike although on opposite sides of the law. Great story and plot, pure entertainment!
I thank the author, his publisher, and NetGalley for this book.

Tori Hunter Book 5

When a call comes in about a drive by shooting Tori and the team are shocked to discover it's in a quiet, suburban neighbourhood. Who would want to gun down students with no criminal history?

Meanwhile a little girl is discovered abandoned in the square near the university. Who is she and what is she doing there? Could these events possibly be linked?

And then Tori receives a phone call. Is it from a witness or the killer?

This is a fast paced thriller with plenty of action to keep you gripped. I was intrigued by one particular character. A great book that I won't hesitate to recommend.

Tori has come a long way since the first book and I have really loved her character arc so far. She has been through a hell of a lot but she has come out the other side stronger. She has also begun to relax and actually enjoy life rather than just surviving it. This is the 5th book in the Agent Tori Hunter Series but this could be read as a standalone.

This book is full of tense heart-in-your-mouth moments. It is action-packed and fast-paced. Every time Tori and Braddock follow one lead it leads them deeper and deeper into the underground mob world. The story is well-plotted and Roger has clearly thought about how all the many threads will come together.

Full of twists and turns this book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a gritty crime thriller.

A young couple is found shot dead. A little girl is found silently sitting on a bench. Agent Tori Hunter is trying to solve the case and put the pieces together, when she finds out the little girl is deaf, things may be more complicated, but she must also now keep the child safe.

A fast-paced, addictive page-turner; Stelljes writes a novel with an intriguing narrative with some twists and turns that will have you not wanting to put this book down.

This was a great thriller and my first read by this author. This is the fifth book in a series but can easily be put down as a standalone, however, I will be visiting these characters again.

This book will keep you up well past your bedtime! A woman with a dark past. Chicago mob ties in a small rural town. And of course Tori and her crew.

Two college students are gunned down, a high school student wrong place wrong time. Digging into their recent days, Tori, Braddock and their team learn about Grace's ex-boyfriend. Drugs. Stalking. And witnessing a suspicious scene when they go bacl for Grace's stuff.
While the police are searching for a suspect, a mysterious woman becomes involved. A woman Tori and her staff had chases years ago.

A digital copy of this book was provided to me by NetGalley and Bookouture. The opinions are my own and freely given.

Tori Hunter and Will Braddock look into the drive by murder of high school student, his cousin and girlfriend. The problem is the neighbor takes the situation into her own hands.

This book involves the Chicago mob and there was a lot of characters named that I got me a little confused. However, the story itself really kept me engaged. Tori reaches out to her FBI contacts, and a decades old case gets pulled into the investigation.

This was fast paced with car chases and shootouts, which I really enjoyed and seemed realistic.

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and Roger Stelljes.

The young couple lies still on the snow-covered sidewalk, their gloved hands tightly linked as though they could save each other. But flashing blue lights illuminate the quiet street, and drops of blood scatter the pure white ground…
Agent Tori Hunter is heartbroken at the murders of Cam and Gracie, two college students dating for just a few months, shot dead outside his aunt’s home. With witnesses in this once-peaceful neighborhood saying they saw a black car speed away, Tori is desperately tracking it down when a nine-year-old girl is found sitting alone on a park bench, refusing to speak. No-one in this small community knows who she is… is she somehow linked to the murders?
This has been one addictive read for me. It is the fifth book in the Agent Tori Hunter series but I had no issues reading it as a standalone... I will for sure grab the other books as I would love to have a bigger picture of other cases and how it all began
The mystery is very intriguing and well plotted. It really has everything a reader needs from a thriller and a bit more if you ask me. I loved the character development and there was one in particular that stood out for me but I won't reveal much (you do need to read it to figure it out)
I am most definitely looking forward to reading more from Roger Stelljes

A drive by shooting turns into so much more in the fifth installment of the Tori Hunter series.

I have read the whole series and am a huge fan of them. I absolutely love the way the relationship between Hunter & Braddock has evolved slowly over the course of the series, it's very reminiscent of Mulder & Scully. Now that their relationship has kind of settled and the focus returns to the case, I wasn't surprised that this case was more complicated than the other books in the series.... but there was definitely a lot going on. Unlike the other books in the series, this one took me some time to get into because there are so many characters involved right off the bat....but hang in there and you'll find another amazing installment of the series.

Overall I really enjoyed this one! Roger Stelljes never disappoints!

The fifth book in the Tori Hunter series. Tori and Braddock are called in to investigate a brutal drive by shooting. They quickly find out that the shooting was not random and has ties to the Chicago Mafia. To top it off a professional assassin has come out of hiding after a 12 year hiatus. Tori and Braddock must get to the bottom of the case before things get out of hand.

This book starts off with a bang. Opening chapter is actually an event that happens about a the third of the way through the book. You’re not really sure what is happening initially, but it is a great sequence to start the novel off with. I thought the plot line was fantastic. The addition of an assassin hiding out in northern Minnesota who is forced into action, was a nice plot twist. I thought, Mr. Stelljes did a great job folding the assassin story into the overall plot. While the idea of brutal drive by shooting in northern Minnesota was a little far-fetched, I thought it fit within the overall plot.

This is another excellent thriller from Mr. Stelljes. There was plenty of action and drama to keep you engaged. Thank you to @RogerStelljes @bookouture @Netgalley

The Snow Graves is book five of The Agent Tori Hunter series and it was just as intense as the previous four. Although it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I felt as though I was watching a fast-paced, action TV show or film! It kept me up so I could finish it! Tori and Braddock are great together both personally and professionally. While working, they found off each other. I hope they continue. (I'd love to visit their home, it sounds fabulous and even better with the remodeling and extension complete!!). Can't wait for the next one!!!

Looking for evidence and clues to explore.
A drive-by shooting leaves three college students dead,
Why? Was is something they saw, did or said?

A child on a park bench is cold and alone,
Why is she there and not at home?

To discover more about this mystery.

A compelling read from the start to the end,
With danger, crime and an unexpected friend.

But someone is ensuring mobsters pay their dues.

A story filled with twists and turns all the way through
Keeping you guessing at what they will do.
It was interesting to see some from a killer's eye
And discover their motive for deciding who would die.

All play their part in this crime thriller mystery.
A story with great characters and an intriguing plot
Combine to make this a read I enjoyed a great lot!!

Tori Hunter is back! The Snow Graves by Roger Stelljes is the 5th book in this series. Usually after a few books, I lose interest in most series. However, this is not the case with Tori! ! Each book is better than the last and I cannot wait for the next one! The Snow Graves has a very intricate and interesting plot. Also, there is a new character that is introduced that I could see having a spin off series and I really, really hope that happens! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Back in the days Tori was looking for a hitwoman who then magically disappeared. They had some kind of connection, and once they "meet" again, the connection is still there. There is something weird going on involving lots of dead people, and even a deaf girl. Luckily the team is on the case!

Another good addition to this lovely series. I could feel the snow and cold through the pages. I could also sense the stillness of the communities, and how it shook everyone to the core when such bad things started to happen. Well-written and plotted. Definitely worth reading!

This is my first book by this author but it sure won't be my last! The story line is a complex
fast paced action packed
keep you on the edge of your seat plot that will merge the past and the present together to create a highly emotional charged complex well written entertaining cast of characters each more deceitful and self serving with their own agenda and a killer that will truly shock you and make you root for the villain.
