This book is a comprehensive and insightful exploration of the connection between breath and overall well-being. Miller's expertise in yoga and movement therapy shines through as she presents a wealth of scientific research alongside practical techniques. With a balanced approach and clear explanations, this book equips readers with the tools to enhance their physical and emotional resilience through breathwork.

I'm pretty new to breathwork and have enjoyed learning more about it.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC to read and review.

A valuable reference, very well illustrated, on breathing -- how, why, and what to do if it's not going as smoothly as one might like. Ms. Miller combines physiological concepts, self-diagnostics, and accessible instructions for the reader on using the breath to improve health and well-being. I especially liked the focus on recovery -- using breathwork, rolling, and deep rest to improve function and healing.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy.

I’ve followed Jill Miller for a long time, and everything she releases is impeccable. The hours of research and practice that she puts into her efforts is surely astounding.

I had already ordered my copy of Body by Breath when I saw it pop up on NetGalley. Couldn’t resist a sneak peak! As with her earlier release, The Roll Model, this breathing “bible” includes highly readable research and practice, with fantastic pictures and illustration. It also has QR codes to scan for further info. It’s amazingly accessible, regardless of your learning style. It could be read for personal gain or serve as a textbook.
It’s a true reference book, meaning you will come back to it again and again for both knowledge and practice.

Fantastic!! Thank you NetGalley, Victory Belt Publishing, and the amazing Jill Miller for allowing access to a digital ARC for review purposes.

I'm a huge fan of Jill Miller's Role Model book. It's been a staple of my mobility practice for almost a decade now. Fast forward to this year and I was excited to know that she was working on another book on breath. This one is just as thorough as her previous book. Lots of data and science to back up what she teaches. Her first book was a bible of fascia. This one is the same for the breath. Looking forward to coming back to this resource again and again.

Lots of useful insights, but a very heavy emphasis on detailed anatomy. This is a valuable reference, although the text overall seemed a bit advanced for the novice.
