I read this with my teenage niece. She absolutely loved these stories. And since she is the in the demographic for this particular book I think that holds a lot of weight. I personally thought the stories were good, well fleshed out, and creepy. For me personally the writing was a little amateurish but fine for the age group it was intended.

Thank you NetGalley and Horror Tales Publishing for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a collection of short and easily digestible horror stories. Short stories sometimes leave me wanting, as I feel that they just aren't long enough to really have a developed plot and characters. This wasn't the case with these tales; each story felt fully fleshed out. My one complaint is that it pulled me away from the story when characters were described in an unnatural way instead of blending the descriptions into the story itself. The writing at times felt choppy and forced, coming off as very amateur. Aside from that, I enjoyed reading these short stories.
