Ana Huang writes books faster than I can read them. Do they all feel basically the same?? Yes. Will I EAT THEM UP EVERY TIME? Also, yes. I genuinely enjoy them, even if it gets repetitive.

After the Twisted Series, we only had a small glimpse at billionaire romance written by Ana, and with seven books in this series, I'm sure we will get our fill. I sincerely hope that they have some individuality in the actual story and characters and plot.

The storyline and characters in this one were pretty good, I'd say. It's just hard when you can tell that they're setting up for the next book within this one. Because then, I feel like the focus shifts to the next couple before we've even said goodbye to the one we are on.

I'm still gonna read them all and enjoy them all. Ana's writing has definitely improved the longer she goes on. I'll be patiently waiting for the next installment

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of King of Wrath for my honest opinion

4.5 stars Loved it! Dante is blackmailed into an arranged marriage with Vivian. What starts out as enemies slowly turns into lovers. Dante is pissed to be strong armed into an unwanted marriage while Vivian is reluctantly following through out of a sense of duty to her family. Forced proximity forces these two to get to know each other and walls begin to crumble. Even though Dante never stops looking for a way out his heart is starting to hold on. Great introduction into their family and friend group with a setup for the next book. I flew through this and can't wait to see what comes next.

Thanks Netgalley for this ARC.

I enjoyed this quite a lot. Dante is definitely the protective alpha-hole type. Touch her and you die vibes.

The spice and banter was excellent.

Perfect for those who like:
Billionaire CEO
Jewelery heiress
Marriage of Convenience
Arranged Marriage
Dislike to lovers

This was sooo cute. I’m so I live with this author and I can’t wait to read the next book! I thought I loved the twisted series and this was even better! I was able to meet the author at the Booktok event and I was so happy! I love the nicknames and the enemies to lovers aspect!

This is my first time reading an Ana Huang book! I first heard about her from Instagram reels/Ticktoks that were exclaiming about the Twisted series. King of Wrath is a great arranged marriage, forced proximity, enemies to lovers book! I usually am not a fan popular books, but this one was really good! Highly recommend, the writing is swoon worthy and exciting. Dante and Vivian are a great pair and the story flows so smoothly. I can't wait fro King of Pride

I loved Ana Huang’s Twisted series! So I was super excited to see this spin off series. King of Wrath was super spicy. Dante was introduced in the Twisted series but we didn’t know much about him. The chemistry between him and Vivian was 🔥🔥🔥. I’ve never read an arranged marriage trope before but I enjoyed it! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

Ana Huang does not miss. The plot is so good and the spice is on the level fans have come to expect. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Vivian is a great main character due to her being so relatable. The relationship she has with her family and the way she grows into herself by standing up for herself was amazing.

Dante is not my favorite in the Huang-verse but definitively in the top 3.

King of Wrath is an exquisitely written love story. What starts out with a billionaire, blackmail and arranged marriage becomes an explorative story of finding out who you are without familial and societal expectations. Dante is one of the world’s richest men. He manages his family’s business, is known as one of the sexiest men alive and is Italian- American. As the story progresses you get to read bits of Italian. It’s quite beautiful.

Vivian is the daughter of a ruthless jewelry businessman who will stop at nothing to attain fame and status. He won’t stop at marrying his daughters off to better his standing in social circles. Vivian is Chinese - American, her culture of respecting her family and what they have sacrificed to give her the best life is a major focal point. Vivian has a close knit group of best friends who help her smile, she is detail oriented and meticulous. I was rooting for her the whole time.

One of my favorite parts was the library scene. The library description continues; this is just a snippet. It will give you goosebumps and their moments within are heart-racing.

“Thousands of books stretched up and across three walls towards the cathedral ceiling like a leather-bound forest complete with rolling ladders and wooden handrails."

I highly recommend this book. I loved it.

Can Ana Huang do any wrong?! I’m not going to lie… trying to follow up from this Twisted series honestly made me so nervous but Ana DID NOT disappoint!!! Dante and Vivian were everything! I loved their story so much. Vivian’s vibes were immaculate! Like gossip girl but better… badder… just amazing. I can NOT wait until King of Pride. Ana is always a one click buy for me, paper back, Kindle and Audible. I honestly need all 3 every time. Count down is on!!

If you loved the Twisted series, you will want to read this one for sure. It was so good and a great way to get a glimpse of the Twisted world you likely miss. If you read that series you’ll remember Dante appearing in a few of those, specifically with Vivian at a dinner party. Well, this book gives you that whole background including a different POV of that same dinner. It was so well done and love how she mixed the two series. Definitely check this one out!

I absolutely loved the Twisted series by Ana Huang and boy did she deliver with this spin off series so far.

Dante Russo is ruthless and arrogant. Vivian Lau is well mannered and ambitious.

Marriage of convenience, dual pov, spice, banter, major “that’s my wife”/“touch her and die” energy.

I loved Dante when we met him in the twisted series and loved the crossover in this book with Christian and Stella.

Keep ‘em coming Ana Huang and I’ll keep loving them.

Thank you Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for this advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review.

HAHAHAHA FUCK ME I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

dante is my new book boyfriend okay he’s everything I could want in a dark and broody man wow (plus it helps that he’s a billionaire okay 🥵)

this is my first ana huang book and it certainly won’t be my last!!! her writing is unbelievably enthralling and sucks you in from the very first page - not to mention it’s HAWT in there omg!

vivian and dante are absolutely so wrong for each other in so many ways, but you know I love a good forbidden romance - and this one DID NOT disappoint 😍

I loved the differentiation between vivian’s chinese family and dante’s italian family, and the exploration of the different family cultures and how to come together and understand each other 🥹 I was crying in the club

everything about this book was *chef kiss* - even the miscommunication (my least fave trope) was addressed in a healthy way multiple times

I so hope for the next one to be about isabella pls

Ana Huang has never failed me and King of Wrath delivered!

Tropes:
-Arranged Marriage
-Dislike to Love
-Forced Proximity ( a sprinkle of one bed)
-Billionaire x Heiress

Relationship Type:
-MF
-Interracial

I hated Dante in the beginning, and at one point I was very okay with this turning out to be a romantic thriller where maybe she stabbed him if that was the direction Ana Huang wanted to go. But then he won me over. There were so many sweet moments where I just squealed for what felt like forever.

I loved Vivian (FMC), she was witty and fun, and I could relate in a way to the internal conflict she had with her family and what you feel you have to do when your family sacrifices for you.

I have made predictions for how many future MMCs and FMCs we met in this book and who I think ends up with who, I was right about one of them 😏. I truly can't wait for the rest of this series because with this being only the first one?? I know we are in for such a treat!

After absolutely LOVING the Twisted series, I was so anxious to see what Ana had in store next with her new series… and I’m so happy to say I was not disappointed 🤩

Vivian & Dante’s arranged marriage story was filled with all the tension and butterflies I ever could have dreamed of 💍 Though they opposed each other for their own reasons at first, I love the way they learned more about each other and grew together as time went on. They may have their differences, but they fit so effortlessly that I can’t possibly imagine them with anyone else 🫶

Vivian was a dream character ❤️ She carried herself with class and a strength that I wish I had an ounce of. As someone coming from an Asian household, a lot of her familial and personal struggles hit pretty close to home. But I admired and loved seeing her growth in this book 🤧 As for Dante? What can I say except that Ana writes the best I-hate-everyone-but-you men, and he was definitely no exception! Despite Vivian being the last person he should be falling for, he could not help himself, and I ate up every second of it. His protectiveness of Vivian, the groveling, and him speaking Italian were everything and more 😫 Dante’s one of the only people Vivian could be herself and speak her mind around, and he loved her even more for it 🥹 They are such a perfect match 🤌

Overall, this was a great first book to the start of what is shaping up to be an amazing series, and I adored Dante & Vivian’s story 🥰 Fans of Twisted are sure to love this, and this world has a new vibe that I’m so excited to explore more of. Speaking of which, I CAN’T WAIT for the next book because I’m already SO OBSESSED with Kai & Isabella 😭 Truly, in Ana we trust 🫡

Thank you so much to NetGalley & Sourcebooks/Bloom for an ARC of this book ❤️

Woohoo Ana is back baby!! I for one am SO pleased and the only upsetting thing about this experience is that we have to wait until April 2023 for Kai and Isabella's book (just a joke - Ana take all the time you need to write their story!).

I think my favorite parts of this book were Vivian, the tightness of the story, how addicting it was (especially the first half), and how Ana set up this new world while still calling back to the Twisted series.

Vivian is a powerhouse and I never wanted to leave her. She's cool, calm and collected but she will cut to the quick when she needs to. I just love reading about women who are so capable and can advocate for themselves. Some of my favorite scenes in this book were when Vivian was raaaaaaaging at Dante (don't worry, he deserved it) because those scenes felt so earned. Vivian was able to call out the hypocrisy around her and I loved seeing her growth when it came to speaking up against her family.

Ana once again is SO in the pocket when it comes to writing distinctive characters. Vivian, Isabella and Sloane felt very different from the Twisted Girls and Ana writes the nuances between female friendships in your early 20s vs. late 20s brilliantly. It's so refreshing to read female characters who are three-dimensional, flawed, capable, and lovable.

The character development of both Vivian and Dante was well executed. Dante learned to get better with his communication, but it was a gradual and realistic process.

This has to be Ana's tightest book yet. Every scene served a purpose and I could've easily read this book in one sitting. I basically had this book glued to my hands for the first half of it because I could not put it down!

Also, Ana is so good at delivering on what her readers want - it is such a delight. All the Twisted callbacks knocked me out. We got to reread scenes we already read in Twisted, but just from Dante and Vivian's POV. Who ELSE is doing that besides Ana?! And Ana knows the readers are coming for a fun, sexy time and she doesn't disappoint there either.

And the secondary characters in this?! I'm foaming at the mouth to read everyone's love story. Particularly Isabella and Kai (I cannot stress enough how hot Kai is), and Alessandra and Dominic (something tells me Ana is going to destroy the marriage in trouble trope).

Is Dante my favorite book boyfriend ever? Honestly, no. But that's okay!! He is hot, has a lot of passion, is richer than God and is so smitten with Vivian. Personally, I loved the quieter, more domestic moments we got with him and Vivian as opposed to the more grandiose gestures he made.

Ana smashed it once again in my opinion and she's always an auto-buy author for me!!!! A great start to this new series for sure.

this book was seriously so good. i have read a few all of ana huang's books and this one is up there! i really really loved vivian, she was a really enjoyable fmc to read about and i really loved her entire personality and her strong willed character. dante was amazing as well! he's not particularly different from any of the twisted men if i'm being honest, he reminds me a lot of christian, very much copy/paste with a few differences. but i'm not complaining! i love a rich man. i was surpised at how much i enjoyed this book i will be honest just because ana huang books are sometimes hit or miss for me, but i am so excited for kai and isabella!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So it's Ana Huang so it's gonna be at least somewhat good but I just did not feel the same level of invested in these characters as I have her previous books. The writing is technically great and there was nothing repetitive or confusing about the mechanics of the story.

The story line was VERY reminiscent of Twisted Love and neither of the characters really behaved in a way that made them likable. The tension was good in some parts but then all of a sudden there would be a 180 that wasn't really explained- just all of a sudden he was into her. And no matter how awful he was to her (really awful at times) she was still so happy he threw her some crumbs the next time she saw him. I would have loved to read more rage from the FMC or some bit of her demanding respect I think that would have made it all the more interesting.

While I will still be reading everything Ana writes- and Twisted Hate will forever be one of my favorite books- I have to say this one misses the mark a bit and I'm hoping for more in the next in the series.

This was my first book by Ana Huang, and when I tell you I ran to purchase the Twisted Series by her after finishing this, I’m being serious. Vivian is such a relatable main character and Dante (while he has his flaws) is an absolute joy to read about. This book is the PERFECT arranged marriage, enemies to lovers that I needed. I will be recommending this to everyone I know.

When I tell you these two own me? I mean it.

King of Wrath is the first of seven books in the Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang and what a start! The book follows Vivian, a jewelry heiress, and Dante, billionaire CEO of the Russo Group, as they are forced into an arranged marriage.

True to Huang’s signature, this book was full of tension, steam and it was incredibly hooking. The more the story evolves, the more I loved it.

The chemistry was sizzling, the sexual tension was strong, and Vivian and Dante were amazing. They start off hostilely but slowly change to more. Ana is amazing at making tough, cold men absolutely gone for their woman and this a perfect example. We get to see as Vivian and Dante start to fall hard for each other.

I loved everything about this book and I cannot wait to see what’s next!👀
