I already loved this author because of her Twisted series. This series was one I came into with high expectations and was not disappointed. If Ana's name is on the cover, I will be reading it. This is a beautiful book I'm ashamed to have waited so long to read. I will be looking forward to adding these beautiful stories to my physical shelf. Everyone should do themselves a favor and read this. I will be sharing that opinion with every reader I know.

i really really liked this book! i loved the characters so much and i really loved that you could genuinely see the development of their relationship and their personal character. also the tension and chemistry between them was insanely good. also let’s talk the limo scene?!?! i’m obsessed. i love how headstrong the both of the characters are because it lead to such an amazing battle between then two of them which made the chemistry between them even better. i felt like they also had a very genuine connection and i just really loved it.

i don’t think this book was very original and i also felt like some of the scenes and lines were definitely reused from previous books or other characters. overall, just a little upset that dante seemed like a repeat of alex but one the other hand i feel like this story also had a lot of strong points.

overall, i think this book was pretty good but wish we could’ve seen a new character rather than a new version of the old ones. i still can’t wait for kai and isabella’s book bc this book just made me fall in love with them both!!!!

I liked this one. Definitely interesting to read about him taking her on dates to the Eiffel Tower or her randomly buying jewels. 😆Talk about an escape from reality. They’re filthy rich. I loved his protectiveness of her.

I really enjoyed the slow burn in the beginning. I liked the overall plot, although I feel like I’ve read similar situations. But the writing was great and I got through the book so fast; I just wanted to know what happened next! I felt like Dante and Vivian balanced each other out well. Definitely interested to see where the series goes.

Thanks to @read_bloom and @netgalley for the ebook. I enjoyed both Twisted Love and Twisted Games but I think King of Wrath is my favorite @authoranahuang book!

✔️ Arranged Marriage
✔️ Billionaire
✔️ Alpha/Morally Grey MMC

I am in my forced proximity era 🤣 . I used to be on the fence about the arranged marriage trope but I devoured it here. Dante has trust issues and hates being out of control and Vivian wants love and romance but is resigned to not have it because of her dad, also a controlling person. These two fiercely independent main characters who are great at their jobs but not at love get thrown into each other's lives was so fun!

I liked the world building here, the elite old money vs "crass" new money, violence through corporate espionage, luxury dates like you'd see on The Bachelor. This book kind of had it all.

Dante was a little over the top in his alpha hero-take no prisoners-i will destroy you-she's mine-no one gets the best of me-wait why am I sad even though I've won and am alone like I always wanted. I don't read morally grey too often so I don't have many comparisons, but I did like his character shift to a human being in love and who wants his person to be happy too.

I loved Vivian and how she dealt with Dante. She gave him lots of space and asked for how he wanted their relationship to be and set boundaries when she needed them. She had a quiet strength that I admired (I would be feral and frothing at the mouth if I was in her situation).

Overall, I'd give this 4.5⭐️ and I'm excited to read the next book in this series.

In high society, where arranged marriages are treated as business proposals - Vivian Lau is thrust into an engagement with the enigma Dante Russo. A man thought never to marry, and, aside from his exorbitant wealth and business group, little is known about. Many are suspicious of the arrangement and benefit it presents to Dante, but no one knows that the root of it is Vivian's father blackmailing him. Immediately forced into close quarters and planning their wedding, Vivian finds herself warming up to this cold man.

This is a pretty classic enemies-to-lovers trope, It was executed pretty well and I liked the high society aspect of the book. Thanks to Netgalley for the eARC

Ana Huang does it again! Dante Russo is a ruthless, cold man who has been put in an almost impossible situation - and Vivian Lau is everything but that. They are thrust together in an arranged marriage and things only manage to seem impossibly hard and cold. I loved the storytelling in this novel. The character development, the dialogue, the set up for the next book? It was fabulous! Thank you so much, NetGalley, for the advanced copy!

I first read Ana’s Twisted series and loved them. I was so excited for this spin-off series. I’m a sucker for a good billionaire romance and this didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t put it down and read it I one night.

First off I would like to thank NetGalley for an ARC of Kind of Wrath by Ana Huang.

This is my first time reading a book Ana Huang, I’m sure it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed story of Vivian and Dante. The story line was written very well. I loved Vivian’s character. I was so happy when Dante came to his sense also!

The spice in this book could never go wrong. Ana Huang never disappoints in creating an angsty and badass main characters.

Cant wait to read the other books in this series

Ana Huang can do no wrong!

I can not even begin to describe how much I love this book! while I feel like it felt a little short of the twisted series, I still enjoyed it.

I can not wait for the next one!

4.25⭐️ 3🌶
This is a billionaire romance with fake dating/forced marriage/forced proximity/touch her and I’ll k*ll you tropes. I’m probably forgetting some thought.

Billionaire romances aren’t my absolute favorite but I loved Ana Huangs Twisted series and so I had to read this one too! I’m pretty sure the main issue I have with billionaire romances is all the talk about brands/labels that I’ve never heard of and can’t pronounce and just the fact they talk about rich people things that I can’t imagine or relate to. Totally a me issue and not an issue with the book.

Aside from that, I loved it! I loved the characters, and their relationship. The spicy scenes are damn good! I loved Vivian finally standing up for herself and I loved seeing Dante’s softer side. And the ending wrapped everything up so well and made me happy❤️

Now I’m ready to read more about Kai😍

One thing is for sure - you know exactly what you are going to get when you pick up a AH book.

Is this the most original story out there? No. Some elements actually feel a bit recycled from her own previous stories. But is it kind of pick-me-up readers sometimes need to forget about the real world for a little bit? Yes, yes it 1000% is.

And it's that consistency that will always make me pick up a new AH novel.

This was my third Ana Huang book and I have to say she has yet to disappoint! I loved this arranged marriage, grumpy billionaire book. I absolutely loved Vivian and Dante, the character development, relationship development and all the obstacles they had to overcome together. It was a great, entertaining, spicy romance that I would definitely recommend!

Great...Ana Huang has given me a new series to fall in love with/become obsessed with!

Thank you Sourcebooks Bloom Books and NetGalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

I liked this book better than the twisted books. The relationship between Dante and Vivian was surprisingly sweet and there was a good amount of spice. My mind can’t comprehend if this stuff really happens in the lives of extremely rich people!! Arranged marriages for STATUS, blackmail, lavish dates and parties. I literally would not survive that lifestyle!

Arranged marriage, alpha males, strong female, blackmail and spice!! I got completely lost in Dante and Vivian's story. This dangerous, gripping, all-consuming story will keep you turning pages wondering what Dante and Vivian will encounter next.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the opportunity to reread this book before it's wide release. Ana Huang quickly became one of our favourite authors after reading Twisted Games in 2021, and has not failed to serve since. King of Wrath was truly a new height for Huang. The story was well flushed out, there was a great plot that didn't feel secondary to the romance, and everything was well-integrated.

Vivian was easy to fall in love with , but surprisingly, Dante quickly became one of my favourite male leads. His character was so well-written, with such specific idiosyncrasies and fears. He's the first Huang character who's had enough of a background to make him a real, human love interest. I loved his relationship with Vivian, and his later relationship with his brother. I think this book was also an ode to older siblings through Dante's character, which I really appreciated.

The hints of luxury and designers/old-money heirs and heiresses with absolutely bonkers names were a really fun add on with this read. We got a big kick out of that.

That aside, though, we think one of my favourite things about this book was how Huang handled cultural differences in Vivian and Dante’s relationship. From the get go, we see Dante struggling to reconcile Vivian, his fiancée, with Vivian, Francis Lau’s youngest daughter, and this causes a lot of friction in their relationship. But, we really appreciated how the topic was approached. Ana showed so much understanding and empathy for Vivian’s culture and her sense of duty and family, while also recognizing the parts of her beliefs and values that might need a little reworking.

All together, this was a great read, and one we'd recommend.

First of all I would like to thank the author for the opportunity to have this ARC in exchange for my opinion.

This was my first book that I have read by Ana Huang and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it. oUsually when I am reading some romances, I need to skip ahead and see what happens because the story can be a little slow. But with this book, I continued reading without having to do that. Every chapter kept me captivated enough and held my interest.

I also really liked that for a billionaire book, this one seemed more realistic. Both of them came from wealthy backgrounds so it made more sense that they were living in the same type of world.

Overall I thought this book was great and I am already looking forward to her next book in this series.

Honestly I think billionaire/mafia romances are just not for me. I loved Ana Huang's Twisted series, but this one had too many mafia vibes for me to like.

I thought that Vivian was a weak heroine as well giving into her parent's wishes, and it took too long for her to stand up for herself. I did like the enemies-to-lovers aspect and how Dante banded together with Vivian. It gave me some Ravenhood vibes there.

I definitely could see the appeal of this book for fans of Danielle Lori's Made series, but this one just wasn't for me.
