Book two of the Kingsmen series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
Brady Banks, star wide receiver of the San Francisco Kingsmen football team, had a one night stand six months ago and he can’t get the woman out of his mind. She refused to give him her name or number. Imagine their surprise when she is hired as his live-in nanny while his son’s mother is on a travel assignment.
Brady is a wonderful father to Theo, five, and their relationship is a heart melting thing to read. I love that he has a good co-parenting relationship with Theo’s mom, Hannah. I really appreciated that this was not one of those evil ex books. Brady has been a player, but he can’t forget the woman who blew his mind.
Violet is a complex character with Korean immigrant parents. Her familial relationships are a little dysfunctional and she has some confidence issues and baggage because of it. She had her only one-night-stand to get back on the horse (so to speak) after a broken engagement. She hasn’t had much luck in the relationship department and is distrustful of men and her own judgement. I loved the relationship she built with Theo. The love and understanding she shows that little boy is perfection.
She and Brady share a sizzling chemistry that cannot be denied. Neither one really expects emotions to get the better of them, but they are wrong. When they had their emotional moments, I could feel them in my soul. Their physical moments are hot and steamy, and his pantry ends up getting a lot of action. I couldn’t put it down. I devoured this book. I loved their HEA more than I can say. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I’m loving this series! It easily might be on of my favorite sports series this year, and I hope that stays true considering it’s only February haha. Brady and Violet have a ton of chemistry from the moment we meet them during their one night stand and it just grows during Violet’s time as Brady’s nanny.
I love the theme of found family is this book from Hannah and Brady never really dating, Brady’s step mother, the love Theo and Violet have for each other, it is just a constant reminder that chosen family is equal to if not stronger than those we share our DNA with.
Brady stole the show for me in this book, I loved how open he was with his feelings about all the situations with Theo and Violet, and that he was constantly willing to make changes or adjust to make things work. When Violet and Brady get to their conflict, I did wish we could have seen Violet grovel, because I love when the girl grovels but Brady’s groveling made up for it 10x over. It was so sweet and so Brady-like that it made the ending of the book perfect!
Finally, after setting up Chase’s story, I cannot wait to read his book when it comes out!

This is the second book in the Kingsman Football Stars Series and I think I have found my book boyfriend in single dad Brady Banks !! Brady had a one night of passion 6 months ago but the woman refused to give him her name so he is totally shocked when his new live in nanny his son’s mum has hired is the woman he thinks got away. Violet is the new nanny and from the moment these two reconnect sparks fly but determined to keep it professional they make a pack to keep their hands off each other….. What follows is an entertaining, fun, witty journey. Cindy Kay and Aaron Shedlock did a fantastic job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with the banter, they hit every emotion and they took me to another world as I listened to their voices. I was captivated from the first few words and I fell hard and fast for Brady as I watched him care for his adorable little boy Theo. The banter was witty, the chemistry was sizzling and the characters adorable but it was an adorable little boy named Theo who stole my heart. A wonderful addition to a series that is getting better with each release.

What a fun, sweet story. First, Brady was wonderful- slightly damaged but sweet, respectful and steamy hot. Violet (a Korean heroine!) was smart, sweet, sassy and also well nuanced with the authors providing good insight into expectations that many Asian parents have on their children. Plenty of steam, laughs (I love the cast of characters) and swoons, I’m loving this series and this world! A low angst sports romance with a fun vibe that has run through the first two books of the series and I’m expecting more of the same for the next few!

I loved Brady and Violet! I’m usually a little hard on romcoms because I like my romance a little angsty, but this was so amazing and full of emotion!
Violet had a bit of a checkered past with love and was not interested in investing her heart in a relationship. Brady put his son, Theo, first in all things and didn’t want to expose him to someone that would leave them. Violet was only there on a short term nanny gig.
I love that Violet could be super sweet with Theo and then super sexy with Brady! And I also liked how she stood up for herself with her family and didn’t let them dictate her career choices. Go girl!
Brady is the alpha male with a heart of gold. I love how he just melts for his son and is such a good dad. And his family, OMG, his parents brought all the comic relief!!
The chemistry between Violet and Brady was smokin’. Brady could definitely flip the switch from Daddy to “DADDY,” if you know what I mean!
It was fun seeing the players again from the Lee Burrows book. Looking forward to Twyla and Chase next!!

I was a little worried that Brady Banks wouldn’t be able to measure up to the swoony introductory book boyfriend in the Kingsmen Football Stars series, Lee Burrows. Fear not, this duo has armed Brady Banks with something extra, he’s an amazing dad. There’s single dad romance, and then there’s Piper Rayne single dad romance, and I can assure you they are not the same.
That’s something that will be especially hard to beat, but I’ve no doubt that I will fall just as hard, if not harder for the next Kingsmen Football Star.
I needed this book more than I could ever put into words. Life has been a series of overwhelming events lately, making it near impossible for me to get lost inside a fictional world. The very first page of You Can't Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks, I was swept into the Kingsmen Football Stars world, and not one ounce of reality seeped in until I read the final word. It was the definition of the perfect escape.
Violet was sweet, and a little sassy. Her heart and compassion for others was such a fundamental part of who she was, she was meant to be a nanny. The first time she and Brady met may have been by chance, but there’s no doubt in my mind that the second time was fate.
Brady is swoony, and oh so panty melting alpha. I loved the way he and Hannah co-parented melted my heart. The love and respect that they had for one another was heartwarming.
Violet and Brady had ardent physical chemistry the moment they met, but it was nothing compared to what was to come the moment they were face to face again. The volcanic connection they shared thrummed in the air around them and continued to build as they vehemently denied anything would ever happen between them again. It was a valiant effort, but the moment they were face to face again it was only a matter of time before they went from volcanic to downright combustible. I will never look at our pantry the same way again.
You Can't Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks is an exceptionally swoony addition to the Kingsmen Football Stars series. A bewitchingly unputdownable blend of combustible chemistry, a swoony hero, a sweet heroine, witty banter, entertaining secondary characters, and volcanic levels of steam. I can’t wait to see how the swoon game on the grumpy Kingsmen Football Star.

Piper Rayne is a new to me Author.
I am sorry to say I personally did nt like the book. I couldn't get past chapter 5, it just didn't hld my interest
