In this book there is special race call Magi, have natural abilities to create, to solve problems, known because of their wisdom, counselors of kings and famed astrologers. They are banned from those places because of their race. Maura is a Magi, her parents protect Magi childrens, one day there is attack in her parents place, she runaway with her uncle and hide her identity. Years past, Maura works as a nanny. The child got sick and die, Maura get blame and runaway to Sanctuary city place for refugee like Maura who seek justise. Maura feel weird in this place, there is something fishy and dangerous.

I enjoy Maura journey, she tried to understand where she come from and what ability she have. She not trust easly and pit her guard up. Her relationship with Aiden was so sweet, together they fight the Gad El Glas and Star of Darkness to save another Magi childrens. Love💖 and light✨
