I loved this murder mystery puzzle book! It is basically like Clue where you have to find the who, where, and with what in each puzzle. You are given a few clues and by process of elimination you can figure it out! In each puzzle you are given a blank chart to help you cross out the suspects.l and keep track of everything. As you get farther in the book, the mysteries get harder. This is a perfect way to pass the time. I love logical puzzles. I would recommend to everyone!

This is so much fun and has become a daily team bonding exercise for my coworkers and me in our shared office space. Would make an excellent gift for fans of true crime and puzzles. Really enjoy how cozy the cases are the descriptions of the suspects, locations, and weapons are delightful.

Oh my gosh… I LOVE this and the idea behind it! So much fun! Pre-ordered a copy also and can’t wait for the release in June. I won’t spoil alllll of the fun now. Perfect gift for mystery and/or puzzle lovers in your life!

I received this on Friday and have spent the last 5 days or so working through the puzzles. I’ve finished a little over half so far. They do get progressively harder but are not impossible. There is a little bit of a storyline and you get some more of the story after checking the answer. I chose to work on the puzzles in batches only checking the answers after 6 or so puzzles so that I didn’t accidentally see the answer for the next Murdle. Because of this, I didn’t really follow the storyline but I don’t feel like it diminished my experience at all! Can’t wait for volumes 2 & 3!

I've always loved logic puzzles, so combining those with my love of thrillers and true crime was so fun! I completed a couple of the puzzles and can't wait to get the physical copy to finish the rest! Its the perfect activity to do while enjoying the sunshine on my balcony on those warm summer mornings.

If you enjoy the daily Murdle online (or similar brain teasers), you'll enjoy this book. I do wish the sampler given here had given the hints and answers to the selected Murdles (from what I can tell, the hints and answers sections are just the actual first few pages of each section in the book, but this arc gives you a couple of murdles from each difficulty level, skipping around the book, so you're not given the hints or answers to the harder murdles). But that's a quibble with this sampler and not with the book itself. I am very much looking forward to treating myself to this when it's published.

UPDATE 4/25/23: I received an email the other day that they have updated the ARC. I just downloaded it and am skimming over it; I believe it is now the full book rather than a sampler, which makes it much nicer for being able to use the hints and check my answers. Thank you very much to the author and publisher for making it available this way.

Super fun puzzles, some easier to solve and some really tricky! I recommend downloading the pdf and filling it out that way. The graphics are better and it's fun to write out the answers!

I love logic puzzles and Murdle has over 100 elementary to impossible mysteries to solve using your logic, skill and the power of deduction. The author also has online puzzles for you to solve.

I didn't complete the book obviously 🤣 I'm not that fast, but I've been having fun solving these on my down time. If you also enjoy these types of puzzles, check it out!

This book has been SO MUCH FUN! It is so wonderfully put together and I'm glad I downloaded the PDF version because I didn't realize how much better the formatting would be compared to the Kindle version (which was missing all the images and graphics).

My husband and I normally do a crossword puzzle together every evening, and we were looking for a little variety in our puzzle routine -- enter Murdle. It's been such a great activity for us. I can't wait to purchase a copy of the book to gift to my dad once it releases in June. I originally grew up doing logic puzzles with him, and he's the one who really fostered my love for them. I know he's going to love it, too!

I'm glad I get to see this book early, but the netgalley formatting left quite many things out, like graphics, pictures etc to make it easier and more fun to solve. Still can't wait for my copy to show so I can spend some time solving these puzzles.

This book is so much fun! As a kid who always loved logic puzzles this is right up my alley. This book has a hundred mysteries for you to solve and they get progressively harder as you go. There are hints towards the back and at the very back are the answers. While good on kindle this is definitely a book I would prefer a physical copy of, and have a notebook nearby to be able to reason through my thoughts to solve the mysteries. If you like puzzles, especially logic puzzles, this is a fantastic book for you!

I love logic puzzles so it was easy to love this book. As an educator, I often look for ways to get my students to read carefully, look for context clues, find evidence to support understanding, etc.; logic puzzles are the perfect "hook". And who doesn't love a mystery? I will be recommending this book as a resource for teachers in my district.

Each logic puzzle is easy to follow but challenging in its own right. I have had so much fun solving the clues to continue developing the story.

I love this book!! We homeschool and I started using Murdles for logic and reasoning as a fun way to start the day! It’s a great and interesting way to get the brai juices flowing! Love it!

I've been playing this game online every day and really enjoy the fun logic puzzles. I love that each logic puzzle is actually a mini murder mystery to solve and includes humor in the crime's backstory and in the clues and evidence. I found that the puzzles don't really work well in the ebook format. I was so excited to see a book was coming out with Murdle puzzles. I  received an e-book version and not everything was displayed as clearly as I'm sure it will be in the print version.

The book consists of 100 mystery puzzles of varying levels of difficulty- 25 Elementary, 25 Medium, 25 Hard boiled, and 25 "impossible". As in the online version, there is one hint for each mystery which is included at the back of the book. The hints are followed by the solution with the identity of the murderer, the weapon, the location and the motive when applicable for each puzzle. I enjoy solving these unique logic puzzles and look forward to when the print version of the book is released which will be easier to work with than the electronic version.

This is SO fun. Murdle has been a favorite game for a while and I'm so excited for a print version! The puzzles range in difficulty, which is nice. It is hard to complete these puzzles on an e-reader because you can't write in the book, so I will def be getting a paper copy!

I love logic puzzles, I have for years. So when I discovered Murdle I was absolutely thrilled!

What's unique about Murdle that I enjoy is the actual cards. In typical logic puzzles there are straightforward clues and the chart, however Murdle is a bit more complex. Each card has details about the character, weapon, location, or motive, and those details are interwoven in the clues. This makes it a bit more of a fun and interactive challenge which I really enjoy.

I do my Murdle daily, and when I found out there was going to be a book I pre-ordered immediately. I'm trying to resist doing too many of the puzzles in this e-galley so I can enjoy all of the fun in June when it arrives, but it is not easy holding back!

I didn’t know about the online game before getting this ARC (thanks NetGalley and St. Martin’s!) but now I think I’m obsessed, I love puzzles in general but hadn’t always been into murder mystery/true crime type stuff, but this was too fun not to love and I’m sure folks who are into those things will love it too.
