This book is part of a series but can be read without reading the others. That said, you should really read the others! This particular book though, has great adventure, education material presented in a fun way, and easy to read dialog. If you have a middle school age child they will enjoy this book!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the temporary digital ARC that I read and gave my honest opinion of.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an easy, fun read about a family that lives on a boat and hunts treasures in the ocean. It is book 9 in the series but works well as a stand-alone read. I enjoyed the humorous moments in the story. I also liked that the reader was learning languages, math and science facts, and was introduced to the foods and culture of Spain. I feel that learning new knowledge while reading makes the reading experience so fulfilling! The book also contains lots of graphics to keep the young reader engaged. If your reader loves Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Captain Underpants, or graphic novels, they will also enjoy this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Little Brown Books for Young Readers for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Caution spoilers:

Read and reviewed by a 10 year old boy:

In this treasure hunters book I had opinions about what I liked and didn’t like. One thing I liked was that at the end of the book the Kidd family snuck in to a rich mans castle to foil his plans in rebirthing the country Prussia with the Eighth Wonder of the World known as the Amber Room. But one thing I didn’t like was that the Collier kids were, first of all not even Nathan Collier’s kids to begin with, and that they were just phonies online to get views and subscriptions even though they never did any real treasure hunting. One example of this is a the beginning of the book when they claim they found the Lost City of Gold known as Patiti. Also, at the end of the book, the Kidds trick the wanna-be Prussian kind into thinking that the boxes didn’t contain the Amber Room. All in all, I think this was a great book.

This is the last of the series and my daughter loved it. She is getting into the mystery side of reading and this series was great for her age!

Thank you Netgalley, the publisher and author for the ARC!
