I really enjoy Glass’s writing, and this one was no exception! This story is told from three seemingly unconnected POVs, but then they all come together eventually, and it is amazing. Kira’s daughter has gone missing, and Kira feels as though no one is taking it seriously enough. Kira thinks her disappearance is connected to the kidnapping and murder of other girls previously. Kira comes off as unstable as she questions and confronts people, but is relatable as a mother.
Aden’s dad has gone missing and he returns home to help his mother cope and to try and find his father.
Grace was the victim of a deranged kidnapper herself, but she managed to get away. Now, she is an anxious, paranoid adult who is running an inn and trying to keep her life on track.
There is also the perspective of someone who is being held in a basement, but the reader doesn’t know who this is. Is it Kira’s missing daughter? Is it Grace’s flashbacks? Is it even in this timeline or in the past?
Glass does a great job of casting suspicion on everyone, and I definitely found myself thinking one way one minute and another way the next. Either way, I definitely really enjoyed this fast paced read.

This book was beautifully written until the last 30%. 2/3 of the characters were well formed. This would have been a solid 5 star read if the ending didn’t take a nose dive. For me a thriller has no business trying to team up with a romance. It almost never works.

Kira’s daughter Brooke has vanished. Aden has a missing father. Grace was once a missing girl. Kira and Aden will not stop until they find their missing loved ones in Rock Harbor, Maine.
The characters were really well done in this! I honestly had no idea who the culprit was the entire time which kept me turning pages! I was invested in all of their storylines. The multiple POV’s I also really enjoyed. I was a little underwhelmed in the end but it wrapped up fine, many twists throughout so I was entertained! I’ll definitely read more from this author as I loooved On A Quiet Street! (3.5 ⭐️)
✨ Thank you Net Galley for providing me with a copy to read and review ✨

A serial killer survivor thinks she's escaped the horrors of her past only to notice new girls start disappearing reminding her of her own experience. This was a great cat and mouse, twisty serial killer tale. Great on audio narrated by my fav, Brittany Pressley. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review. This one kept me guessing til the end and had a shocking ending I didn't see coming!

Kira’s daughter Brooke goes missing in Rock Harbor, Maine. She is the most recent in a series of girls that disappeared in a similar fashion. Years ago, Grace was one of those girls but she managed to escape. Now, she is haunted by survivors’ guilt. When Aden’s father also goes missing from the area, his family thinks his disappearance may be linked to that of the girls’.
This was a slow-burn thriller, where I wasn’t sure exactly how the storylines were going to merge together, but once they did, they came together pretty fluidly. Told from multiple points of view, we see each of the main characters’s perspective. But the point of view seemed to randomly switch at points, so I had a little bit of a hard time keeping track of who was who. The story definitely picked up speed towards the end, and I got though the last 25% pretty quickly. The cover of this one is what drew me into it - stunning!
Thank you to thrillerbookpromos, Grayson House and Serpahina Nova Glass for the ARC! This book releases May 30th.

I really enjoyed The Vanishing Hour and I am excited to read more from this author. I couldn't put this one down until I knew how it was going to end. I will be recommending this to all of my fellow book lovers.

The Vanishing Hour had everything I look for in a book. Engaging characters, an atmospheric setting and a twist I did not see coming. Grace, Kira and Aden coming together to solve the mystery of the disappearances had me on the edge of my seat. The book flowed smoothly with an extremely satisfying ending.

I loved this book, from the amazing characters to the page turning plot. Every aspect was great. Well written and well thought out. This one kept me guessing till the very end and the explosive twist was jaw dropping.
Seriously creepy and terrifying. A great read from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Rock Harbor, Maine. A quiet town in the off-season and the perfect place to lose yourself.
Grace is doing just that. Running a small inn in this town where bad things seem to happen. To girls. Just girls. And Grace was one of those girls who disappeared. But she escaped and is doing her best to hold things together and keep out of the line of fire.
But when trouble comes to her door, she will risk any and everything to keep her secrets. Until she can’t. Because someone is taking girls again. Girls that look like Grace and the truth is shocking.
I thought the plot was solid but the execution dragged quite a bit.

But Grace isn’t the only one with something to hide, and Rock Harbor isn’t just a sleepy vacation town. Someone is taking young women—girls who look an awful lot like Grace did when she was kidnapped so many years ago.
This book was amazing! So many twists and turns and a part of the story I never saw coming. Seraphina has easily become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to reading her next book. Girls are going missing but no one knows why. Then an elderly man and then another elderly man. But what's the connection? Read more to find out! Chills and goosebumps up my spine while reading this!

Once again i am disappointed in things that I request randomly. i will do better for myself and not do such things anymore.

I’ve read some of Ms. Glass’s other thrillers so I was excited to read this one. Overall, I found the plot interesting and suspenseful and appreciated the different character dynamics. Definitely had my suspicions about each character throughout the story yet the ending was still a big surprise. There were a few times where a lot of minor characters were introduced at once and only discussed briefly which made it hard to remember their significance, but aside from that I thought the story was well written.
Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review :)

I'll come right out with it: this wasn't my favorite. And really I think some of that comes down to my expectations going into the the book. I was expecting Grace to be the clear MC but we ended up with three POVs, two in third person and one in first person. And I didn't particularly like any of them.
I struggled to stay engaged in the story the entire time, especially with Kira's POV. Ultimately, even though I was excited for this one, it was a miss for me.
*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve found a new author to pay attention to. I loved this book!🙌
Thanks to @graydonhousebooks & @seraphinanovaglass for having me on this book tour and @netgalley for my e-ARC!
After discovering that this story is set in Maine (one of my favorite places) I couldn't wait to start it and after reading the blurb I was hooked.
In Rock Harbor, Maine, a desperate mother (Kira) searches for her missing 19-year-old daughter. Last seen near a strip club in town, Brooke has disappeared and with her a number of other girls over a period of several years. Could there be a serial killer on the loose?
Aden returns to his hometown of Rock Harbor after learning that his elderly father has disappeared without a trace. To Aden's horror, his father has also been spotted near the strip club, although he likes to preach the word of God. What could these two missing people have in common?
Then there is Grace, Aden's host at the Inn where he’s staying. She was abducted many years ago but managed to escape her abductor.
Will she be able to give Aden some answers or help Kira find her daughter? But what is she hiding?
I had no idea what was going on until much later in the book (no surprises there ). So I loved the way these three separate stories unfolded and then tied together at the end.
I won’t deny that the author led me around in circles with some excellent red herrings until I suspected every character in the book!
This was such a great find!

Seraphina Nova Glass can surely write excellent thriller and this was her best I read so far.
There's a sense of dread and of trouble to come since the beginning, there's twists and there a bay guy tha t is not that hard to guess but he's quite terrifying.
Excellent storytelling, tightly knitted and fast paced plot.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine

Another great read from Seraphina Nova Glass!
Interesting, relatable characters woven into a suspenseful page-turner, culminating in an ending I never saw coming!

The beginning of this book really threw me off and I couldn’t get into it, but I stuck with it and ended up really liking it! I like this author and will definitely read more of the books she writes!

Thanks to Netgalley and Graydon House Books for the digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I really enjoyed this tightly plotted thriller! You know I love a good serial killer thriller. It’s definitely a slow burn, but the way everything connects seamlessly in the end makes it all worth it! If you haven’t read this author yet, I highly recommend you check her out!

This was so intriguing at first. I was hooked and compulsively reading.
The formatting is a little messy, so the scenes with the captive person were hard to discern from the regular chapters. But I think that reveal was the most shocking aspect of the story.
The who/bad guy wasn’t a surprise. I appreciated the things tossed into to throw the reader off track a bit (Harry, Brady, etc). But it WAS a surprise to see HE was the captive. And that his former victim had reversed the roles.
But I do think it started to get tedious around the halfway point. There’s a lot of nothing happening, sadly. Just finger-pointing and attempts at making other characters seem guilty. It’s still a relatively quick read, but I think a lot of the “excitement” and intensity disappears.
Overall, a pretty good story.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this! I LOVED On a Quiet Street by this author so I was super excited for this book! Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. I just thought it was a little slow. I am grateful that I was able to read it though, and am looking forward to seeing what other people think!
