Iza is the ideal hopeless romantic and is on the conquest of searching for the perfect man.
Enter a literal drool worthy wish granting genie … out of thin air.

Using one of her wishes she creates Mr.Darcy in this retelling of pride and prejudice with a comedic version and finally understanding the real Mr.Perfect was in front of you all along.

Although, I couldn’t relate with the main character as much as tried, the journey of going through universes and time travel was an incredible experience.

Thank you NetGalley and Alcove press for the ARC copy.

This book is ADORABLE. I loved it and it's an actually refreshing take on Pride and Prejudice.
I'm going to say that I don't like the female main character much. She's annoying, rude, judgmental, and has a stick up her ass for the majority of the novel, however, Dash redeems the entire book.

I love to see both the main character's arcs and how they both help each other become better people. The romance in this book is amazing, but honestly takes a back seat for a lot of the novel as the novel is dedicated to showing character growth, which I ADORE.

I cannot recommend this adorable romcom enough.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was an…interesting read. I was so intrigued by the description and the cover was adorable, but I feel like it left a lot to be desired. I think part of it, is that simply it wasn’t for me and I found that as the book kept going it kept moving further from my expectations/wants, so others may enjoy this and it might suit them better!

From the first chapter I already knew I didn’t like the main character, Iza, and her relationship/mother issues annoyed me soooo much. Honestly, I was tempted to DNF there, I feel like it was the worst kind of introduction to Iza and saw her worst qualities immediately and set a bad tone for the rest of it, maybe if that scene was different I may have a different opinion on the rest of the book.

Then the next few chapters of introducing Iza further, it was just a bit too millennial cringe, especially about her talking about listening to call me maybe in high school and trying to sound deep with the lyrics. Which leads me on about her age - she was only 26, I don’t understand why she was so obsessed about this ‘dating plan’? She is so young and her telling her mum she was going to start using dating apps was this big thing, like why aren’t you already on them if you’re this desperate? I just didn’t get It.

Beckett’s introduction, yeah that was okay, I thought Iza was a bit over the top and I feel like their interactions were odd, like Beckett seemed to mock her for saying ‘render’ (?) But then the next sentence he said ‘asinine’ without a thought, which was just odd. Later he mocks her for saying ‘indeed’ ? I feel like the banter was really forced and contrived.

Also, in like their first interaction, Beckett asks what she would do for love, and Iza responds ‘anything, ‘ - so girl why haven’t you been on dating apps or making and effort with guys or ignoring your mum? Throughout the book we get like 1 line about her dating a guy who cheated on her, I’m not sure if this is a key reason for her behaviour, but I think it’s mainly her mum and wanting her love. Then in like the next scene she goes on a date WITH A LITERAL PRINCE who likes her and she’s like nah my mum wouldn’t approve and just left mid way through the date, it was so odd and I think we needed more background on her dating life so far.

I respect Beckett so much because he suggests one of her wishes is to fix her mummy issues which is what I was also thinking, so go him and he also blatantly tells her her issues lol, He also actually tells her mum all this stuff and stands up for Iza - I’m glad that happened at the halfway mark and wasn’t just left fully to the end for Iza to confront.

Also, I don’t know how she could think wishing for Mr Darcy would work since he doesn’t have a job and her mother wouldn’t approve of that, but then he ends up having a job at the architecture firm anyway which was random, ugh it annoyed me when she got angry about Mr Darcy acting like himself? And then her friend had to explain it to her even though she is apparently obsessed with the book? And like sending him sandpaper roses is just so weird and all the stuff about going to his house and that was just sooooo bizarre and I felt so much secondhand embarrassment.

With all that plot I felt like there were barely any scenes with Beckett and we couldn’t see them interact ‘organically’, plus the timeline was really odd, it mentioned at one point it had been a month, then Darcy would leave for weeks at a time and in the next sentence she’s like it’s been 7 weeks since I sent him a text. So it was hard to see the development between her and Beckett at all.

It wasn’t until the end when it made sense that Lola, her roommate/friend, was in the book because otherwise she was barely mentioned and clearly Iza doesn’t really value her as a friend as she claimed until she met Beckett there was no one in her team? Like please value female friendships!

Also there was a very random scene where she almost gets eaten by a lion. It was odd,

Then the last 15z….I got a bit confused with the time travel/timelines and universes, I thought it was an interesting choice…but I guess it made sense because we saw some background with her and Beckett which I had thought was missing from before, but eh. Also, the curse breaking? I don’t get it, I feel like it would have been more romantic for Iza to wish Beckett free (if there were no stipulations) and he chose to stay with her?

Overall, I liked what the author was trying to achieve with the message and stuff but I feel like it was done in all the ways I didn’t like! Also way too much shitting on Mr Darcy for my liking.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a truly amazing, adorable book. I read it in one sitting and I couldn’t put it down. If you enjoy reading Ash Poston, Sarah Hogle, then this is the book for you.

Eliza has spent her whole life searching for love, and when she accidentally releases a genie who can grant her three wishes, she thinks she’s got things figured out. However, the genie has a different plan. You will fall in love with these characters, it’s a gripping story with a lot of great lessons about love and life.

‘as though I thought buying more copies of books about love would mean I owned more love’ ❤️

I can’t wait to see what other stories this author brings to life.

Super fun read that combines whimsy, magic and romance. The concept was interesting and the twist on a classic contemporary romance was entertaining. It did feel somewhat predictable and slow paced in parts but overall it was pretty solid.

**I want to start by being fully transparent; I received this as an ARC from publisher and NetGalley BUT that does NOT sway my feelings/opinions at all. This is a fully unbiased review formed from my own thoughts after reading. Thank you NetGalley and publisher for allowing me this eARC copy**

I loved this book so so so much! Ive been branching out in my genres so I requested this and could not be more pleased. The character growth, the plot, all of it! LOVED

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me the chance to read this ARC.

It was a bit of a slow read for me but I finished the story smiling and feeling happy. The blend of Pride and Prejudice and Aladdin was fun additive to the story.

I was so excited for this book. I loved the description and the cover, and they really drew me in. Unfortunately, the story just fell flat. The main character just seemed so immature. I didn't feel the romance aspect of the story either.

Thanks to NetGalley and Alcove Press for an ARC of this book.

3 stars = ok. There were definitely things that I liked about this story - the time loop was handled well. That said, the fact that the heroine got a lot of what she wanted without using her wishes seemed sort of wrong and since I am not a fan of Pride and Prejudice playing off that didn't hook me ( or ultimately disappointed me) as it would Darcy fans. So, overall this was a middle of the road read for me, but I liked the HEA.

I really wanted to like this one. It started out nicely and I enjoyed the characters at first. But the story itself just fell a little flat for me. I did not feel the chemistry between the main characters.

This was such a cute, sweet, funny story! I read this book in one night, I didn't even realize it till I was at like 70% and I'm like 'well I have to finish it now' lol. This book is perfect for people who loved "Just Like Magic" by Sarah Hogle, different story but similar tropes.
Iza is such a sweet character who just wants to love and be loved, and she absolutely deserved it. And Beckett is so cute and funny right from the start, I love how he forces Iza to be honest with herself in what she wants and what she deserves. Iza's mother was not my fav, she was toxic and manipulative, and there were parts of the story that pointed that out so well! The conclusion of the story between Iza and her mother though left me a little unfulfilled and there's no way to explain why without spoiling the whole plot lol.
I didn't fully understand the ending conflict resolution, like how Iza returned to her real life, and how Beckett was able to stay with her (but at this point it was midnight and I'd been staring at the screen for five hours so that may be on me), but the ending was so sweet and cute and funny and just the perfect way to wrap up.
I also really loved the different slant the author took with MC wishing for her own Mr. Darcy, I feel like we see that a lot in romance books, and I loved that it was clear the person we think we want, even if fictional, may not be everything we think it is.
Thank you for the ARC!!!

As always not every book is for everyone and sadly this book just didn't made me want to keep reading it, for me to love a romcom it really depends on how much I end up connecting with the characters and I just couldn't stand them, I found the extremely silly.

With the premise of Aladdin meets Pride and Prejudice, I was definitely intrigued, and I do enjoy a good old romcom but some things were just silly and I couldn't get on board, but that is me I like my romcoms without the silliness, having said that this is a good read for anyone who can enjoy a really good silly and little childish romcom.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I could lie and say I finished this, but that's not my style. This book is odd, and that was disappointing because the blurb was so good!

I couldn't get past the immature main characters, the obvious Pride and Prejudice meets Aladdin mash-up and the really slow pace of the book.

Unfortunately, this was not for me.

I’m in love with this book. Perfect mix of romantic and comedy. I love the form of writing and the way of telling the story. The cover is a bit to much and doesn’t suit the story. But I love the characters of the protagonists and how they interfere. A simple love story with so much fun.

This is a really cute and funny romance. I found this to be a really unique premise and I loved the characters and romance. It's not the best romance I've ever read but it's such a nice cosy read I would recommend reading at least once.

FIVE FULL BRILLIANT STARS. I can’t believe how hard my heart wenched during the few angsty chapters, and I cried, god, I seriously cried. Normally I would stay away from anything that involves even one bit of angst, but I’m glad I stumbled across this book. Personal opinion: this plot deserves an award. Of course, I can’t say it’s perfect, there are still some parts that I find a bit rushed (Lola bought the “I’m from the future” story a bit too fast, and in reality I don’t think it would be THAT easy for Iza and her mom to fix their relationship. But well, it’s fiction, and I’m not sure how much more angst I can handle.), but pushing all those aside, this book has so much worthy of praise. It’s not another cliche Pride and Prejudice retelling, but the whole plot is built based on it. The characters GROW, they learn, they grow, they fall in love, they make tons of mistake, their personalities and personal journeys fully developed. The characters are so fleshed out that it makes this whole story so much for real and so much more heart-wenching but good, all at the same time. This book is such a masterpiece.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this novel in advance

Every Wish Way is a cutsie Rom Com that follows a love based on Pride and prejudice, I enjoyed this read as it was light and easy which is far from my typical reads. If you want a pallet cleanser and something to make you blush then I definitely suggest this read. I can not wait to see what other Novels this Author comes out with as I will positively read.

I liked the concept of the book, but it kind of dragged on. The story follows Iza, a romantic that is on the hunt to find love. She struggles with relationships because of her mother's constant judgments. Beckett comes along as a wish giving like genie. Iza is an uptight character, there is not much to like about her. She comes across as clinical some times. It was interesting to use Pride and Prejudice in the story, the heroine realizes she can do better than Mr, Darcy. Overall, the story was too long but I liked the story. I received an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Despite the magical elements of this book the themes are very real. Iza doesn’t want to be alone. She wants love. She wishes for love. She is so deserving of love that she gets 3 wishes granted by a really hot guy.

Beckett has a goal of his own, but it’s not long before he is charmed by Iza and wanting what she wants for her, for her to be happy.

Add a real life Mr. Darcy to the mix and what could go wrong? Will she find love with her favorite fictional character or someone she never could’ve predicted?

I thought this book was very charming.

Thank you Alcove Press and NetGalley for this ARC.

Imagine receiving the chance to be granted three wishes and what you wish comes true. It happens to Inza and what she wants is the perfect man. This is a crazy good novel and so enjoyable. Reading about Beckett (the wish granter), Iza, and Darcy (the wish granted) is so engagingly irresistible.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
