I was so excited to read this and so intrigued by the plot. But I struggled my way through because the writing was so redundant. Paragraphs and sentences repeated words, descriptions, explanations, etc. Even dialogue between characters. It drove me bonkers and pulled me out of the story numerous times and then I'd struggle to get back into it.

Compelling, suspenseful and oh so good!! I loved this book, I loved the characters and I truly couldn't put it down!! 5 stars

Woaa.. Edison creep me out.. what a controling psycho pedo, i curse him!!! Rest in hell!! I really enjoy the story, feel Allison pain, fear, guilt and how hard she coping it and when it trigger, i cant blame the blast. Poor Elle, she so strong, still believe in god after what happend. Ruby really smart kid, she know and understand how to play her part. I curious about Cora note, is there another victim?

This book had a somewhat farfetched premise, but I was interested to see how it developed. I did read through to the end, but found myself skimming to follow the storyline. It was also far too similar to the Jaycee Dugard (true) story with nothing to add that would make it more interesting. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
