There’s something about books being set in florists and bookshops that I find particularly calming… I’m not sure why! In this offering from Keenan, the summer vibes are hard to ignore and I liked returning to Roseford to catch up with some familiar faces once more. However, reading the other books in the series so far isn’t essential as this book is all about Lizzie and Simon.

As awful as Lizzie’s car accident sounds, it is actually just what she needs: the tonic to recovery is going to live with her aunt for a while as she recuperates. It is revealed that Lizzie turned her back on Roseford when she was a teenager; something happened to her that Lizzie does not wish to be reminded of. However, when she bumps into Simon Treloar, the connection to Lizzie’s past is strengthened and she tries to avoid seeing him, lest he should remember their last encounter.

Yet, for all her efforts, Simon and Lizzie keep coming together and this is the start of a blooming friendship. Whilst Simon is keen to leave his mark at Roseford Hall, Lizzie begins working with her aunt in the flower shop. I enjoyed reading these scenes, appreciating how Lizzie rekindles her relationship with her aunt and watching Bee create some wonderful bouquets. It is evident that Lizzie, with her marketing background, can help her aunt further Roseford Blooms and I was excited by this plot development as the story progresses. Lizzie becomes inspired by watching her aunt and her enthusiasm for Roseford Blooms has a positive impact on Lizzie.

The relationship with Simon is cute to read about, particularly as parallels are established between the two. Both characters had difficult teenage years that they are still trying to grow from and, even as adults, haven’t quite found their right path in life. This made them even more suited to one another and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow from strength to strength.

Some familiar faces make an appearance in this story and I liked being able to revisit them, to see what has happened next. It builds a sense of community in the little village, so I am excited to see what comes next in the Roseford series. This book itself was a nice little read, giving some summer escapism with a touch of romance. The characters are all likeable and I really sympathised with how Lizzie struggles with her family. The need to prove herself is a theme I see in a lot of books and I admired how Lizzie takes her stand once and for all against their controlling ways.

With flowers, romance and summer, this was a really enjoyable read and it still makes me want to try and find Roseford village on the map!

With thanks to Boldwood books and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fay Keenan's books always leave me feeling uplifted, and she has yet again delivered an enchanting and escapist contemporary romance with "Finding Love at Roseford Blooms". This heartwarming, emotional, and engaging story is about second chances, new beginnings, and finding happiness. It's beautifully written, full of hope, sensitivity, and warmth, and will transport readers to an idyllic rural village they will never want to leave.

This is a heartwarming story and another visit to the very appealing Roseford. Lizzie and Simon have a lot in common and similar experiences of their schooldays in particular. Bullying is shown to have a profound effect on how they now regard themselves but you also see that it can be moved on from, if faced up to. It is interesting to see how they both are keen to be seen by others as successful adults but Simon in particular is conscious of not living up to the expectations which some people have of him.

Lizzie’s Aunt Bea is a warm and lovely character and such a support to her niece. Lizzie also had to face up to what she wants to do with the rest of her life and in many ways, Roseford offers her a calm refuge and eventually she is able to make plans for a fresh start. The village of Roseford is a lovely setting for a series and I am hoping that we will get to meet some more inhabitants in books to come.

In short: gentle romance and new beginnings

After a car accident Lizze faces a difficult choice, move back in with her controlling parents or go and stay with her Aunt in Roseford, the village where she had some unpleasant things happen. Her choice to go to Roseford was the best one. Here she meets up with Simon, Lord of Roseford Hall, who was there for her the night of the bullying incident. Not that he remembers. Simon faces his own issues, after handing over the manor to the BHF, he feels redundant and hopeless. Can Lizzie and Sion find peace together and move past their painful memories?

This was such a beautifully written book and I can't wait to read more.

My Review: Lizzie Warner goes to stay with her aunt Bee after a crash near Hindhead that meant she needed some extra TLC that she wouldn't find with her parents. I felt close to home initially when she was heading to Hindhead and then went to the Royal Surrey as both are on my doorstep, which hooked me straight into this story. I really enjoyed reading it and getting to know Lizzie and Simon, a former crush of hers who lived in Roseford, where her aunt Bee lives. We find glitz and glamour, traumas of adults who went to boarding school and family complexities. Sometimes we have to free ourselves from the shadows of our past to make way for new beginnings. Apologies for the lateness with this tour.

Fay Keenan steals her readers’ hearts yet again with her irresistible captivating romance, Finding Love at Roseford Blooms.

Lizzie Warner has had the year from hell and the last thing she wants is to go back to the chocolate-box perfect village of Roseford. The bucolic idyll is full of heartbreaking memories from her past Lizzie isn’t sure she wants to face yet, however, finding herself with no choice and with the dreadful prospect of having to move in with her controlling parents, Lizzie decides to grit her teeth, put a great big fake smile on her face and go and temporarily stay with her Aunt Bee, owner of Roseford Blooms. Is Lizzie about to find everything she has always wanted in Roseford? Or has she made yet another dreadful mistake?

Simon Trelaor is also having a tough time lately. As he hands over his birthright, Roseford Hall, to a heritage charity, Simon finds himself at a crossroads. Raised to be the lord of the manor, Simon had always thought that his future was set. But now that his destiny has been snatched away from him, what is he going to do now? Who is the real Simon? And can he make his mark when everything has been snatched from his grasp?

When Lizzie and Simon meet, sparks immediately begin to fly. There is an instant connection between the two of them and friendship soon gives way to something deeper, but with their doubts and worries weighing them down, can they find the courage to take a chance on their own happiness? Or will what’s holding them back end up costing them everything they’ve always wanted?

Fay Keenan’s books never fail to leave me feeling uplifted and she has come up trumps yet again with this enchanting and escapist contemporary romance, Finding Love at Roseford Blooms. A heartwarming, emotional and engrossing tale about second chances, new beginnings and finding happiness, this beautifully told tale is layered with hope, sensitivity and warmth and will sweep readers away to an idyllic rural village they will not want to leave.

A gorgeous contemporary romance that I absolutely loved, Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is another winner by Fay Keenan.

Having already read and loved Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe, I just knew I was going to love this story just as much. Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is the third book in the Roseford Series, but each of the books can be read as a standalone story – although I highly recommend reading the whole series – I am in doubt you will love the whole series.

This story focuses on Lizzie – after an awful year in which she not only has to cope with the loss of her long-term relationship but her marketing business which she jointly owned with her ex. A car accident and the recovery from her injuries just make things even worse for Lizzie. The comforting retreat of her Aunt Bee’s flower shop in Roseford is the perfect place for Lizzie to recover from her injuries, and think about what she wants from her future.

Simon Treloar was born and raised to be the Lord of the Manor at Roseford Hall, but now having to hand over the Hall to a heritage charity, Simon is feeling quite useless and begins to wonder what his life is all about. When Lizzie and Simon meet, they form an unlikely friendship, but with both of them considering their future lives – they both see a lot of themselves in each other. As their friendship grows, can they both move on from their past hurt and be happy or are Simon and Lizzie just not meant to be anything more than friends?

Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is such a beautifully written story, with characters that are so real – I can’t wait to read more from Fay Keenan, and I totally recommend adding this book to your TBR pile.

This is the tale of Lizzie and Simon and how they meet again after several years have passed and how they find love when they are least expecting it.
I did not realise that the book was[part of a series, so it was a story in it's own right and thoroughly enjoyable

Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is the third book in the Roseford series, these can be read as stand-alone stories and you won’t be lost, but I love the cameos of previous characters and seeing how they get on eve n if just a page or two, so I always love reading the full series and why would I want to miss out on any of Fay’s books !

We return to Roseford and find Lizzie, jobless (but not penniless) a bit lost, a broken heart and has just had an accident too , her options controlling parents or moving in with Aunt Bee and her flower shop, I know which I’d choose and Lizzie does too, sadly Roseford holds difficult memories for Lizzie. Then we have Simon, Lord of the manor (former) who had to hand his estate to a heritage trust to save it, also questioning his future.

I loved Lizzie and Bee’s relationship together, she definitely makes up for Lizzie’s parents, the characters and relationships in this are wonderful, so well constructed and I just love watching them grow. I loved seeing Simon and Lizzie go from friendship to more over the story and both trying to figure out their futures and if that’s in Roseford.

Fay’s stories are always a delight to read, I enjoy the rural settings, easier pace of life, the community feel and the sensitively handled look at issues and concerns. Fay is a natural storyteller and I can’t help but devour her books in one sitting. If you’re looking for heartwarming and happy, then look no further as this book and series won’t let you down.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

With a broken heart, the loss of her marketing business, and injuries following an accident – it’s been a pretty awful year – Lizzie certainly doesn’t want to spend time recovering and considering her future options with her difficult parents. Instead, she finds the perfect retreat in Roseford with her Aunt Bee, the local florist – she always provided the love and care she couldn’t get at home. But Roseford itself holds some difficult memories for her – some places she’d rather not visit again, and a few individuals whose path she’d prefer not to cross.

Simon Treloar is the lord of the manor at Roseford Hall – the former family home that’s now in the hands of a heritage charity, where he now works as manager. He has good friends in Roseford, and family close by, but cuts a rather lonely figure – until he meets Lizzie, very much a kindred spirit, and their friendship and attraction to each other begins to grow. And they find they share a similar darkness in their pasts – with difficult memories that they might be able to help each other lay to rest before considering what might come next.

Both Lizzie and Simon are really lovely characters – really well drawn, very real people, their emotions explored from both their perspectives – and it was a delight to get to know them both better as their blossoming friendship turned into something rather deeper. And I very much liked the supporting cast – the wonderful Bee really does make up for the shortcomings of Lizzie’s immediate family, and it was so good to meet again the individuals who carried the stories in the earlier books and to see the developments in their lives (but if this is your first visit to Roseford, you’ll soon feel as much at home there as I do). The author writes quite beautifully, and is a natural storyteller – with real warmth and affection for her characters. And although the events in both their pasts certainly have a darker edge, there’s plenty of lightness too, the loveliest developing romance, and real hope for the future.

I do hope this won’t be our last visit to Roseford, I look forward to my visits – but whatever the future holds, I look forward to reading more from an author whose books are just getting better and better. Highly recommended by me – I very much enjoyed this one.

FINDING LOVE AT ROSEFORD BLOOMS - FAY KEENAN.

This is book three in the Roseford series from Fay Keenan.
I’m a bit late to the party with this one, and haven’t read the previous two books. I will certainly be adding them to my reading list though.
I’d always say read a series in order to get the most from the story, but in all honesty, #FindingLoveAtRosefordBlooms is easily read as a standalone book.

Roseford is an idyllic little place and makes a perfect book setting. Scenic, tranquil, and full of people that you’d like to know in the real world.

Lizzie and Simon have both had a tough time with one thing and another. They are a likeable pair. I was rooting for them both and hoping Roseford would sprinkle some magic and bring some happiness to them.

There was plenty going on in this book, but it felt very gentle and the pace was relaxed,

I loved my visit to Roseford. Finding Love At Roseford Blooms is a gorgeously uplifting story that will warm your heart and leave you with a big smile on your face.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quick Summary: An "act of kindness and shared experience" wo-fi romance with rich life lessons

My Review: Finding Love at Roseford Blooms by Fay Keenan was the second story I've read by this author, and I must say that I am totally smitten. This installment is the third book in the Roseford series.

About the Book: After facing a terrible upset and the awful prospect of having to return home to her parents, Lizzie Warner finds herself at a crossroads in life, of sorts. Just as she tries to make sense of it all, she gets into an unavoidable accident. She ends up in Roseford, where she ultimately finds clarity, faces many ghosts from her pasts, deals with drama, experiences love, comes to some necessary truths, and grows as an individual.

Simon Treloar was in this story, and I loved him. This character made a big impression on me in Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe. He showed up in a big way in this book, and he showed himself to be good and decent and kind. I really liked seeing his quiet strength and his just right assertiveness. As a lead, he added depth to the story.

My Final Say: I have been delighted by 2/3 Roseford books. I am truly a fan.

Once again back in scenic rural Roseford. I just love these books in the Roseford series. You feel like you've made some friends and they'll have your back if problems arise over a cup of tea. Just put on the kettle.
Our main character Lizzie Warner has gone through a rough spot the past year or so. Not wanting to move back in with her parents, her father is very controlling she goes to see Aunt Bee who runs Roseford Blooms floral shop. Unfortunately on the way there she's in an accident and breaks her collarbone. Now I've never broken a bone, but I can imagine a broken collarbone is especially painful. Her aunt welcomes her with open arms.
Simon Treloar was born and raised as lord of the manor but due to circumstances not of his making he's had to hand it over to charity.
I enjoyed seeing how cautious Lizzie and Simon are around each other though they are attracted to each other. They can sense a bit of a wariness in the other and don't want to move things too quickly. A slow burn romance that I so enjoyed watching it play out. Aunt Bee is a sweetheart, so kind and understanding but she won't let anyone get the best of her. There also is a wedding taking place with one of the characters from the last book and Aunt Bee is so busy planning it. When financial accusation gets put into Lizzie's head it causes trouble with the couple. Will they be able to overcome this?
Full of lighthearted characters and a fun plot I'm looking forward to the next book coming out by this author.

This is a lovely read. I have read fay's previous books and always love them they are nice and easy to get into. This one focuses on lizzie and Simon. Lizzie has just come out of a long term relationship and her business has been sold from under her. She decides to stay with her aunt bee who she used to stay with years when she was a kid along with her sister.
And Simon is also struggling after selling most of his family assets to a big company. Can they help each other to move forward.
