This is a gorgeous warm-hearted read from Fay Keenan.
Lizzie and Simon have been through so much, it was lovely to see them find eachother. Their support to one another and the support provided by close friends was wonderful to read. I especially loved Aunt Bee - her compassion and empathy with Lizzie was beautiful. Fay Keenan has written about such relatable characters and I’m looking forward to reading more from the Roseford series.

While Lizzie and Simon both struggle to come to terms with events from the past, they also find new ways to chart a new path for the future. The last half of the book was more interesting and had a little more drama

Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is a lovely story about finding out what makes you truly happy.

I was excited to return to the tiny community of Roseford. I’ve read the two previous books that were set in this village and just fell in love with the place. Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is set two years after the last book. This story follows Lizzie and Simon. This is the first time we meet Lizzie, who is going through a rough patch in her life and decides to spend time with her Aunt Bee. We have met Simon in the previous books, he is the Lord of the Manor, and in this book, he is trying to figure out what he should be doing next in his life. One of the reasons why I was so keen on picking up this book was because of Simon. I fell in love with his character in the previous books and was excited to read his love story. There was just something about him that captured your attention and your heart.

Overall I enjoyed this book. Simon and Lizzie’s love story was everything I hoped it would be. One of the things I love about Fay’s books is that they have that charming English romance vibe, but at the same time, she weaves a lot of depth and realness into the characters, which makes for a richer and more heartfelt reading experience. Nothing comes easy for these characters. They struggle, go through heartache, and sometimes make some pretty tough decisions. As a reader, I was too able to empathize with them. The story itself has a great flow to it. For the most part, it has this wonderful, slow, sweet pace, but there are moments when things take an expected turn, and you find yourself turning the page because you want to know what will happen next.

This book focuses a lot on family dynamics and family expectations. Lizzie has a strained relationship with her parents and sister. They all expect her to act a certain way, and it’s pretty stifling for Lizzie. The main focus for Lizzie’s growth is learning to break free of her family and to start living her life the way she wants to. Watching her stand up for herself and stop doubting her abilities was wonderful. Simon’s character struggles with the weight of trying not to let the family legacy fall to shambles. In the previous books, he had to sell most of the family estate to the BHF, and now he is left trying to co-run the estate with this government organization. Simon’s internal struggle shows how much pressure we put on ourselves. I love how both characters’ major hurdles in this book centred around family. It was interesting to see different family dynamics and how tricky it can be to navigate family relations.

Simon and Lizzie are quite similar to each other. They both were bullied as kids in school, have that natural caring and sweet personality, and are trying to figure out what they should be doing with their lives. Both characters were so good for each other. They provided that support system and love they both craved and needed. Their relationship was sweet and even a bit spicy. I loved how there wasn’t an insta love to their relationship. They took the time to get to know each other and build that foundation before jumping into bed.

Finding Love at Roseford Blooms is a beautiful romance with characters that are easy to fall in love with.

Thank you, Boldwood Books and Rachel Random Resources for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Blurb

After a rough year, the last place Lizzie Warner wants to be is Roseford. It may be a picture-postcard country idyll, but for Lizzie it will always hold difficult memories from her past. But when the alternative to staying with her Aunt Bee, owner of Roseford Blooms, is moving back in with her controlling parents – well, the choice is easy. Simon Treloar was born and raised to be the Lord of the Manor, but now he’s had to hand over his beloved Roseford Hall to a heritage charity, he begins to question his usefulness. Can he find a way to make his mark, or is it better to walk away from generations of history and strike out on his own? When Lizzie and Simon meet, they recognise kindred spirits in each other. But with both questioning their futures, can one magical summer in Roseford help Lizzie and Simon move on from what is holding them back? Or is there too much history on both sides for them ever truly to be happy together?

My Opinion

This was my third visit to Roseford and it is still just as enjoyable as the first time. It is lovely to return home to familiar characters. Lizzie has plenty of time to plan her future as she recovers from an accident, but can time heal everything? I read 90% of this book in one sitting and it was a great, uplifting read with some very well developed characters.

This is a lovely, short read that would be easy to fit into a nice relaxing weekend. I would highly recommend this series, I know I will be returning to Roseford.

Rating: 4/5

I've enjoyed the previous two books in the series, and this one featuring Simon, the former lord of the manor and Lizzie, returning to the village with her life imploding, is as good as the first two. The romance is gentle and fraught with conflict, mostly internal. It sensitively explores contemporary issues, and the village community spirit and friendship are authentically written and heartwarming.

A lovely uplifting read with complex characters, a rural setting and romance.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

A crash, a smash, injuries and much more -
Lizzie Warner hopes life will even her score -
She's not sure she can take any more!
But has vivid memories from before.

Now she returned to Roseford again,
Battered, broken, bruised and in pain.
But moving back to her parents was a huge, "No!"
So to stay with Aunt Bee seemed the best place to go.

With her Aunt Bee looking after her so well,
Lizzie isn't sure if her secrets she should tell.
A meeting with someone from her past
Hoping he'll leave really fast.

Simon Treloar is the Lord of the Manor, it is true
But he's struggling to decide what's right to do.
When these two meet their attraction flairs
Leaving them both very aware.

With unhappy memories from their past to the fore
Can they put them behind them, to ignore?
With a wedding to help sort, they both have roles, too
From sorting the beautiful blooms to the gorgeous venue.

There are secrets and discoveries to be revealed
As well as horrid feelings for too long concealed.
With celebrities also to add to the mix
Will theirs be a love that romance can help fix?

A heartwarming story with a special community feel,
One that feels believable, totally real.
The diverse characters complete with their traits
Make this a series for more that I just can't wait!

For my complementary copy, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

I hadn’t realised this was part of a series and I had in fact already read a previous story. I really enjoyed this, as a stand-alone book it’s perfect too. A lovely gentle read in a very gentile sounding village with pleasant characters. I would recommend this book without hesitation x

A lovely town in my favorite part of England, a lot of flowers, dogs, well rounded and interesting characters, a compelling and highly entertaining story.
I need some escapism and sweet romance and I loved this story.
Lizzie and Simon are couple that works and I rooted for them. Aunt Bee is lovely and i would like to take a tea with her.
What more ? I spent time enjoying myself and travelling to a lovely place and it was an excellent reading experience.
I was glad to catch up with the character from the previous book and can't wait to read the next.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to Boldwood Book and Rachel's Random Resources for this arc, all opinions are mine

I really enjoyed this book. I read the previous book in the series and was happy to be back in Roseford and have a chance to catch up with the characters. I especially liked Simon and Aunt Bee. There were times I didn't particularly like Lizzie, but I did like watching her grow throughout her journey.

All in all, it was a good read and one I would recommend.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC.

Lizzie Warner is a talented entrepreneur with a smart lifestyle in London, but inside she is falling apart. Paul, her lover and partner in a marketing enterprise, has dumped her and the business they started together has been sold. She is on her way to her final client meeting when a car accident leaves her with painful injuries and an uncertain future.

Although she accepts that she needs care while she recovers, Lizzie rejects an offer to move back in with her judgmental parents. Instead she takes refuge with Aunt Bee, who is described as beautiful, kind and wise. Her sweet country cottage has an incredible kitchen garden. Bee is the hands-on owner of Roseford Blooms, a moderately successful floristry. While her arm heals Lizzie is introduced to this charming art. Readers with an interest in flower arrangement will pick up many helpful hints.

What I like about Fay Keenan’s story is the buzz of excitement around start-ups. Apart from Roseford Blooms, there are other small businesses in the pretty village. Some of them belong to strong women like Lucy, who owns the café. Even Simon Treloar, the aristocratic love interest, is seeking opportunities to rescue his family’s fortunes. Many of the plot twists take place at historic Treloar Hall: a wedding, a Christmas movie, a village festival.

In the midst of all this wholesomeness there are some steamy passages. At one point there was so much torso pressing I thought the action had moved to a gym. Nevertheless, I recommend Finding Love at Roseford Blooms to fans of romance novels.

Lizzie is having a rough time of it, her boyfriend has been cheating on her, they are selling their company so she now has no job and to top it all has been involved in an accident.
As she always felt not good enough in her family she doesn't want to go back to her parents house so decides to ask her Aunt Bee if she can stay at her cottage in Roseford where she spent a lot of time when she was younger
Lizzie doesn't realise however that Sarah who bullied her at school still lived in Roseford with her brother Simon until she bumps into them. Simon doesn't recognise her and Sarah doesn't remember what had happened at first
Can they get past what happened years ago or will Lizzie have to move on ?

Having been fortunate to secure a place on all the previous tours in this series, I consider many of the characters to be like old friends. In particular, I have been hoping to get to know Simon Treloar, the Lord of the Manor that is Roseford Hall, now living in a suite of his former family home, since handing it over to a heritage charity. Simon has always struck me as the misunderstood outsider of the group of friends in Roseford, but I was weirdly drawn to him.
Lizzie is a great character, she is feisty and determined to live her life in her own way. Newly single and with a comforting nest egg in the bank, she has decisions to make and plenty of time to make them as she recovers from an accident.
As I have come to expect, the characters are thoroughly developed and I truly felt like I was getting to know them. There’s sufficient back-story to enable a reader to enjoy this as a standalone story, but it really is a series that I can thoroughly recommend.
Beautifully woven into the book are mentions of earlier characters and it was a pleasure to revisit their stories and see how life was treating them. But the main story revolves around the blossoming friendship between Simon and Lizzie. They had briefly met in their younger years, and they shared memories of that night which were painful to revisit. Thankfully, wounds heal and there may be light at the end of the tunnel for their futures.
While I feel that this may have brought the series to a close, I’m hopeful that we may return to Roseford.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

It was lovely being back in Roseford.

Lizzie comes to stay with her Aunt Bee after things have fallen apart in her life and following an accident.

She is finding it hard to come to terms with what’s happened, as well as thinking back to what happened at Roseford Hall 20 years ago.

Meeting Simon who is now Lord of the Manor, brings everything back. it all comes rushing back.

The story covered difficult issues as well as having a wedding, celebrities and love.

I recommend this book.

I absolutely loved being back in Roseford and this time catching up with Simon, who was probably my favourite character from the last book. Lizzie comes to Roseford to stay with her aunt Bee, who runs Roseford Blooms, after her life falls apart. She is struggling as well about addressing an incident that happened at Roseford Hall 20 years earlier and when she bumps into Simon, the now Lord of the Manor, it all comes rushing back. There is however a spark……… This story covers a bit of everything including controlling families, celebrities, weddings, bullying and romance. As someone who experienced it at school I appreciated that the topic of bullying and how the effects can last with you for years was covered. A great read and I can’t wait for the next one! Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Lizzie life falling apart, cheating fiance, change in career and now an accident. Feeling wreck and lonely she decide to visit her aunt in Roseford. She meet again with her old crush, Simon. I love how they support each other, listening and help each other facing the worst fear who still linger in the present time. They both have similiar problem, try to fit in, afraid of change but want to improve, people underestimate, controllimg family. There is other character from previous book Christ and Stella (New Beginnings At Roseford Hall) also Finn and Lucy (Winter Kisses at Roseford Cafe).

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.
