As a Marvel household, we were so excited to dive into this one! My son, especially, was thrilled since Miles Morales is his favorite Spider-Man—he really connects with him on a personal level. Seeing yourself in a superhero is such a powerful feeling, and this book really captures that.

Jason Reynolds did an amazing job of bringing Miles’ world to life with action, heart, and relatability. It was a great way for my son and me to enjoy a story together and spark some awesome conversations about superheroes and identity.

I adored this book! I found it so fantastic how easily miles was able to slide between being Spider-Man and being a student. I definitely would recommend this book to the students that I work with. Definitely be able to see themselves in miles and his struggles although they are not superheroes
