This book is fantastic! It certainly has an aesthetic appeal, the imagery is pleasantly colorful and inviting. The material is presented in quick, digestable sections with guided writing sections in between. Because of the writing sections I will not be adding this book to the library. However, it will be nice to have a copy for teacher's to use and reference.

This is a really fun workbook. I downloaded this because we recently started playing pickleball but we really don’t know any of the rules or strategy. This is a very colorful and easy way to learn technique and keep track of progress. I will be printing it out and putting it in my gym bag. Love all the colors and the easy explanations!

3 Stars on my first read, I will come back and consider my review when I’ve had a chance to play pickleball. What timing. This book landed in front of me just when I have the opportunity to play pickleball for the first time. I sat with some novice players last night listening to their discussion . What I liked: nice presentation, information laid out in an easily accessed format, rules explained, a bit of mindfulness and warming up and down. What I didn’t like: I feel there is too much space left for recording games and progress. What I would like to see instead: types of bats are given a few paragraphs, but I would like to see for information on the benefits or disadvantages of the different types of bats, some information on strategy of play in solo games and pairs. Thank you to the Quarto Publishing Group-Editors of Chartwell Books and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
