I loved getting to see a character we hadn’t really gotten to know yet get fleshed out. The way Chloe writes is always incredible & I absolutely adore this series, every single book has been amazing.

Ziggy! I'm so excited we finally got to see more of Ziggy after getting little snippets in her sibling's stories. I think I wanted a little more from her story after so much anticipation, but I really enjoyed this one, as I always do with Liese's books. This series is so special and I"m so sad that it's almost done.

Thanks to the publisher and eARC in exchange for an honest review.

MY FAVOURITE BERGMAN BROTHERS BOOK SO FAR!!

Ziggy has my whole heart, she's the superior sibling by far! Their relationship was so natural, and mature relationship. I sobbed during a part of this book, can't quite tell if it was from happiness or just soppiness.

Very late on this review (tbh thought I did 😬) but it was so incredibly good. I’ve read it a couple of times since. It’s hard to have a favorite Bergman but I really love Ziggy and thoroughly appreciate the bi representation!

Another great instalment of the Bergman Siblings series. In this book, we finally get Ziggy's story. Having seen her through her siblings' and their mates' eyes for so many books, it was wonderful to see her take centre stage. Chloe does an amazing job at showing us how she has grown up and yet is the same person. Like any younger sibling, it can be difficult to feel like a full adult in your own life and overcoming that plus dealing with her neurodiversity, it was important that Ziggy would be paired with someone who could embrace her as she is today. Sebastian is just that. Lost in his own life to some degree, the real him invisible to those around him, he learns from Ziggy how to embrace himself and be ok with it. I loved this book.

Loved this addition to the Bergman Brothers series. I loved how the characters were able to grow and support each other through the trials they faced. Great story line that keeps me engaged from start the finish!

There are some stories that move you so deeply and so unexpectedly, that you end up shedding buckets of tears in the end, feeling too much all at once. As I read the last few pages of this beautiful book, I could barely see the words through all my tears, because nothing prepared me for the sheer emotion running through this stunning, wrenching, gem of a novel.

Chloe Liese's writing just always hits the spot, and I've been waiting for Ziggy's book for SO LONG. Ziggy is just my loveable redheaded, enemies to lovers loving, international athlete autistic babe (like she's literally me), and Sebastian is super hot - brothers best friend hot tattooed hockey player, need I say less? The autistic rep was incredible, they were super cute together, and overall loved this.

I will say at times it felt a little rushed and I wasn't entirely sure why he kept going on about how bad he was, it's not like he killed someone, so the conflict of the book felt a little forced for me. And I wasn't a fan of the time jump and it felt like a lot happened off page there.

But apart from those issues, I loved this, and can't wait to see what else Chloe does!!

Another Chloe Liese romance, another fantastic read! I had been waiting for Ziggy's book ever since the second Bergman Brothers book and I am definitely very happy with the story we got.

Ziggy is tired of her angelic reputation, her brother's best friend and hockey teammate Sebastian needs to clean up his public image. So they make a pact to be fake-friends, giving Ziggy more of an edgier public persona while showing people there's more to Sebastian than what they've seen in the gossip pages. But then inevitably fake-friendly feelings turn into real romantic feelings.

This book was perfection. Ziggy and Sebastian's relationship evolved from barely being friends to falling for each other at a frustratingly slow pace, but that made the entire evolution all the more genuine. No quick "oh I guess he/she wasn't what I thought after all" excuses to force these two characters together. They both grow individually, with the support from the other person, which then results in them growing closer and closer.

I really enjoyed my time with this book. Safe to say that I'll just automatically read whatever Chloe Liese writes next. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for it.

I think if anyone knows me, they know that I am a Chloe Liese fan. I love her books so much, and this book is no exception. Sebastian and Ziggy's story is so emotional for me. The rep in this book is spectacular, and this beautiful fake best friends-to-friends-to-lovers story is so perfect. If you haven't picked up Liese's books yet, what are you doing? You need to go pick up this series because I love it and cannot recommend it enough!

Could not have loved this book more! I was waiting Ziggy to get her turn into the spotlight and I was not disappointed. Seb and Ziggy were the exact right person for each other and they way they completed each other was wonderful to witness. Absolutely outstanding!!

I love the Bergman family and this book fills me with joy. Every book I have read by Chloe Liese has has a wonderful representation of something and If Only You doesn't disappoint. Youngest Bergman, Ziggy has ASD and love interest Seb is diagnosed with Celiac disease. The romance is a little slow, but there is good reason for it. I don't know what I'm going to do when the last book is out. I wish there were 10 more siblings to read about, rather than just 1.

This is another fantastic addition to the Bergman Brothers series that I could not get enough of! I loved the way our main characters balanced each other out, worked with each other and encouraged each other to grow. I also thought the autism rep was just fantastic

Chloe Liese has outdone herself once again. This book was so great. I have a book hangover. Prepare yourself since this is a SLOWWWWWW Burn, but it's so worth it in the end. I loved the Neurodivergent and Chronic Illness representation. As usual, it was done with care and concern. Chloe Liese is an auto-buy author for sure, so if you haven't given this series a chance, I highly recommend it.

This can be read as a standalone, but it's so much fun to read the other #bergmanbrothers books first, so you get to experience the whole family finding love.

One of my favorite books of the year comes out tomorrow (4/11), but I’m going to tell you about it now because it is SO. GOOD! If Only You by Chloe Liese, which is the fifth installment in The Bergman Brothers Series, is just as good as every other book in this series!

Chloe Liese has done it again. She has made me fall even more in love with her writing and crafted a beautifully written romance that has so much representation in it. Touching upon neurodiversity, sexuality, anxiety and mental health, and physical health, Liese shows that not only is everyone capable of being loved, but that everyone is worthy of loving a healthy and happy life as well.

The slow burn fake friends to real friends to lovers romance is super unique in its approach to Ziggy and Sebastian starting their relationship, but it is done so well in this story. The plot is perfectly paced out, which only makes readers even more invested in the romance of the story. The build up of Ziggy and Sebastian trusting each other and growing together shows how personal growth and self-love is needed to be able to love someone else.

Also, having a sexy bad boy hockey player who unintentionally falls for a sweet and caring soccer player and changes his self-destructive and rogue-ish ways for her is a trope I will never get tired of. Throw in a big adorable family with members who make cameos from other books in this series and this romance becomes even more amazing.

Considering this is the sixth book in The Bergman Brothers Series, I probably don’t have to repeat myself for the sixth time but I will anyway: READ THIS BOOK/SERIES! It is an absolutely binge-worthy and delicious romance that will have you wanting more Bergman Family adventures.

*I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Bergman clan has such as special place in my heart. When the opportunity to read an ARC of If Only You arose, I jumped at the chance to read it. I was so happy to see we were getting Ziggy’s (the youngest Bergman sibling) story. I’m a sucker for a friends to lover story; and more so if it’s fake friendship?? Sign me up! Witnessing Ziggy and Seb’s relationship develop into an actual friendship was so beautiful. They took care of each other and then to watch that develop into a romantic relationship had me kicking my feet. If you like brother’s best friend or fake friends to lovers this story is for you. I thoroughly enjoyed Chloe Liese’s latest installment and I can’t wait to read Viggo’s story!

Thanks to Netgalley and Chloe Liese for the eARC!

It physically hurts me to write this, but I did not like this book. I adore Chloe and I’ve loved pretty much everything else she’s ever written, but this one was not for me. I loved the premise – Ziggy’s need to be seen as a grown up by her chaotic family, rather than perpetually being treated as the “baby”, was so relatable. In particular, her desire to be seen as someone who is multifaceted and capable of all kinds of emotions, rather than constantly being seen as “sweet” and “nice”, really resonated with me (as someone who has also been constantly seen as “sweet” and “nice”). But it just didn’t go anywhere. Sebastian was supposed to be this terrible “bad boy” but was actually really lovely (other than the fact that he has tattoos *shock horror*) and I didn’t get any chemistry between them at all. I didn’t feel like I really go to know either character and I just didn’t really care about what happened to either of them.

I love that Chloe’s books are all so inclusive, and the Bergman family always brings a smile to my face, but this one was not a favourite. It was missing the heart and emotion that I’ve felt in some of this author’s other books. And I recognise that this is probably a very personal criticism but ugh with the Shakespeare references! I know his works are very well loved but he’ll always just be that famous old white dude who wrote a bunch of boring plays to me. Quoting classic literature (over and over and over again) does not scream romance to me, but each to their own I guess!

I’m definitely still going to read the final book in this series (and finally find out what the mysterious Viggo has been up to this whole time!) but this one will not be a favourite of mine.

Chloe Liese. An absolute queen of Autism Visibility 🙌

I’ve had mixed reviews on some of her books, honestly. Some do it for me, some don’t. This one just so happens to be many of my favorite things though and I’m all for it.

Sports romance? Check!
Inclusive? Check!
Heroine who just so happens to fit my physical description? Totally unnecessary, but yes, Check!

While technically a spin off of another series there’s no need whatsoever to have read any of the previous books. I was in no way lost or scrambling to piece together background information, though it was obvious enough that a few side characters had previously been ‘the couple’ in another story.

The narrative tone and writing was great and easily sucked me in. Overall reading this was just an uplifting and cute experience. It’s a little cheesy, in a very sweet way, like getting a warm hug. I’ll be happy to recommend and go back to read other books from this world.

This was a solid continuation of the story of the Bergman siblings. It was enjoyable and exactly what I expected to get from the book: a sweet romance between two characters with hidden depths and a great connection. Recommend for fans of the other books in the series and contemporary romance between professional athletes.
