This was a fun book!! Different from the other Guardian books that Traci has written. Manuel's life took a turn when he witnessed a crime and then was charged for that crime, but he didn't commit it. The Guardians extend mercy and offer him a position. That was years ago and fast forward, he's tracking some bad guys, when he rescues Laura, an American with roots in the area, who was kidnapped by a gang to fix up someone who was injured.

This book takes you for a wild ride, there's romance, tension, forced proximity, danger, and of course, more danger.

This book is a thriller from the beginning. Manuel is in the wrong place and the wrong time, the result of which leads him to become a GHOST. It was really the only good choice he had. It was either becoming a ghost (for all intents and purposes dead to all those who knew him) or be in jail for 20 plus years for a crime he didn't commit.,
He is working as a Ghost in Central America when he rescues a CIA informant and a civilian from a terrible gang. But now he is on the run with both of them and trying to outwit the gang and keep his charges safe.
If you want excitement, twists and a bit of clean romance this is the book for you.

Another action pack romance. Laura is in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up kidnapped by a drug ring. Manuel or ghost goes in to save a client and saves Laura too. This begins the journey of survival and beginnings of romance. I read the book in one seating because I could not put it down.

This is my first novel by the author. Lots of action through the backcountry of Central America. Leah goes to visit her grandmother and finds herself taken hostage by a local gang. Manuel has been tracking a CIA asset also captured by the gang. As they go on the run, trying to avoid capture again, they'll need the help of Manuel's team, especially when loyalties are not as they seem.

I enjoyed the setting and the action, I'd pick up another book by the author again. You'll enjoy this if romantic suspense is your thing. It's clean, written for general market.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review!

Unseen by Traci Hunter Abramson

Manuel was in the wrong place at the wrong time and now he has to live the life of a Ghost. When he goes in to a high risk situation to save an undercover CIA agent, he also ends up saving Laura who was kidnapped by the gang to help an injured member. Will Laura and Ghost be able to stay alive as they help the agent escape the gang?
I really love this series and this one did not disappoint! It was action and romance beautifully combined for a great read. Definitely recommend giving this book a read!

The story follows Manuel aka “ghost” on one of his missions . Laura happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe the right time at the right place to meet Manuel ? She is brought into the mission and Manuel’s life . They spend time together while running from gang members and begin to realize that they can’t live without each other.. The ending leave us at a cliffhanger so hopefully there will be more coming for Laura and Manuel!
Confession time - I love Tracy Abrahmsons books. She is a great author of clean romances. This book is just like her other books - a great read !!!! The book kept drawing me back in for more.
Thank you to Netgalley for a free download in exchange for an unbiased review. .

Oh, my!!! So much suspense and romance kept me glued to this book - I could not put it down!

I LOVE the idea behind the Guardian series - a group of "Ghosts" who the world thinks are dead but are very much alive and working behind the scenes and in secret to help wherever needed.

Manual is the Guardian, or "Ghost", stationed in Central America and though he enjoys helping people, he lives a lonely existence.

Laura is visiting family in Honduras when she is kidnapped by a local gang that needs a nurse to treat their wounded hostage.

When Manual and Laura cross paths, they are on the run for their lives and face one danger after another. As they work together to survive, sparks ignite between them but Manual's life is too dangerous to allow him to share it with anyone else.

What to Love:
Romantic Suspense
Dual POV
Forced Proximity
On the run
The beach house
Strong heroine
Intense suspenseful scenes
The first kiss!!!
Date nights
"I'll always come back."

Traci is an auto-read author for me! This book completely sucked me in like her books always do. I loved Manuel's optimism and Laura's courage - they truly were meant for each other and oh my, their romance was so sweet! All the happy sighs.

This is the seventh book in the series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. You can enjoy it and understand the plot without having read any of the previous books. (But honestly, once you read this one you will want to go back and read the rest!)

If you enjoy clean romantic suspense, then Traci's books should be at the top of your reading list, starting with this one!

Fans of Elizabeth Goddard and Natalie Walters will enjoy this one!

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

The guardian series is one to read again and again. These new characters Manuel and Laura are thrown together in crazy circumstances and have to stay alert to stay alive! This moved so fast it felt like a short story to me and I wished it was longer to get to know them better.

I couldn’t put it down!
This book kept me riveted to the end. When I had to put it down, I spent the whole time thinking about how quickly I could get back to it. Manuel is caught in a situation where he is accused of the deaths of two men. Despite his innocence he is convicted and then offered the chance to become a ghost working to protect the United States. Now he is stationed in Central America and is again in a life and death situation where two assets are wounded. He can rescue the one but the other is taken by the gang members. The gang then takes Laura, a nurse practitioner, from a hospital to help the wounded man. Soon Laura and her patient are rescued by Manuel but they are still on the run from the gang, trying to get to safety. A phenomenal read I can highly recommend. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the copy. This is my review and all thoughts are my own.
