In today's competitive job market, it is more important than ever to create a workplace where employees feel valued and engaged. This is where employalty comes in. Employalty is a term coined by Joe Mull, author of the book Employalty: How to Ignite Commitment and Keep Top Talent in the New Age of Work. Mull defines employalty as "the employee experience that leads people to join a company, stay long term, and do great work."

The book provides a framework for creating an employal workplace, based on three key pillars:
- Ideal Job: Employees should be able to do work that they are passionate about and that makes use of their skills and talents.
- Meaningful Work: Employees should feel like their work is making a difference and that they are contributing to something larger than themselves.
- Great Boss: Employees should have a boss who is supportive, inspiring, and who treats them with respect.

The book is filled with stories and examples from Mull's own experience as a leader and consultant, as well as research from the fields of psychology, sociology, and economics. It provides practical advice on how to create an employal workplace, from hiring and onboarding to performance management and employee development.
