Meredith returns to the place of her childhood summers, trying to escape the scandal of her husband's financial scheme. She will have to repair her relationship with Tori, her cousin, and try to ignore the neighbor next door, and maybe she can heal.

This is the perfect sweet summer read. Get this one.

Similar to the writing styles of Debbie Macomber, Susan Wiggs, Sheila Roberts, Thayne delivers another winner!

Meredith spent time as a youth in Cape Sanctuary, best friends with her cousin Tori. Things changed after Meredith married her husband. He swindled people out of millions of dollars and ended up in prison, stabbed to death by another inmate. Meredith has come back to Cape Sanctuary because she has nowhere else to go. This is a story about family, betrayal, loss and love. The characters are relatable and likable. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Meredith is trying to put her life back together and heads to the one place that was always her sanctuary.
Tori runs the cafe and was once closer than sisters with Meredith. Will the two be able to mend their relationship?
It’s a quick book that I read in one sitting. It captured my attention from page one. You definitely want this in your TBR stack!
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy

This book has the type of happy ending that I love. There’s a lot of angst in this book. Lots of sadness. It's the story of two estranged cousins who are both lonely and one has reached rock bottom. They both find unlikely love. This is such a heartwarming book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

RaeAnne Thayne has hit one out of the ballpark with The Cafe at Beach End. A wonderful women's fiction with a tinge of romance and a sigh worthy happy ending story.
Estranged cousins who had been so very close during childhood learn to deal with past hurts and become close again as they work together at the cafe they own, thanks to their grandmother. Both women open up their hearts to each other as well as the men who come into their lives. Add some teenage girl antics and it becomes a wonderful story.

I loved this book and consider it one of Ms. Thayne's best.

My thanks to #NetGalley sending me The Cafe at Beach End for a fair and honest review.

Meredith is back in town to claim the little inheritance she has left, but that means the most to her, and to maybe reclaim the life and family she may have kept if she had made different choices. Her cousin Tori is not happy to see her, and has her own problems to deal with, without adding Meredith to the mix. The two will need to find a way through the heartaches of their past to a brighter future.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
Thayne has become one of my favorite beach read authors, I would recommend this book for readers of Debbie Macomber and Susan Wiggs. This is a clean romance about starting over and reclaiming happiness.

And y’all this was such a great story.
This is one of those books you pick up and are immediately lost in the story and invested in all the characters.
Meredith, Liam and Tori were all such remarkable and interesting characters.
I had the best following Meredith’s journey.
I also enjoyed the side characters as well.
The relatable characters are certainly a foundation for a fantastic story.
The setting was truly amazing. The vivid descriptions and details really captured the feeling of this place.

A feel good quick read. Main character returns to her home town after a disastrous life with a no good husband who has cheated people out of their savings. Book is fairly predictable, a good beach read for the summer.

Meredith and Tori...cousins who do not get along. However, they own a cafe together, and when Meredith's life implodes because of her ex/deceased husband, she goes to help run the cafe. Family dynamics, love, and romance are at the basis of this novel, written by a talented and gifted author. This is not just a cozy romance. It is about families getting along, or not. It is about relating to others, whose lives may be less than perfect. It is about forgiveness and starting over. This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review (electronically). Thanks to this great author and publisher for the copy. Thayne has written a cannot put down book that will be read again. The characters are realistic and could be in a television series. That would be fantastic. Enjoy this book.
